Ohhh I really love that this is one of the most prestigious brands in the world for filmmakers and they can be sooo relaxed and funny, love the humility and professionalism of everyone there. Amazing content dude.
fascinating video, definitely puts into perspective the price of those cameras. an image quality comparison with a cheaper camera wouldn’t account for the stress testing & quality control
thats why these cameras are the most reliable and most chosen ones on big sets. if everything else goes to shit, ARRI still works.
As a German fellow I have to give credit where credit is due: your clothing is 100% on point. I really appreciate the honoring of the German culture, wich is absolutely not stereotypical.
I am even more wowed now seeing the behind the scenes for their products.

Actually ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) from Phoenix, AZ makes all Alexas sensors, from the original ALEV III to the new ALEV IV. Of course ARRI were involved in the design and color science. Then ARRI takes those beautiful wafers and builds Alexas :)

WOW, the lengths they go through for quality control is insane. It seems like you need to be certifiable to work for Arri. I tip my hat off to the Arri crew. Truly dedicated to their products.

Absolutely awesome! There's not too much content showing inside ARRI so it was awesome to see and meet so many of the team. Flying a drone inside their headquarters would have been insane too!

No one gonna buy their camera if their quality is not the best, ARRI cameras are more expensive than RED. A single Alexa 35 cost 70000$ usd.
But you get what you paid for. Great to see a look behind the curtains.

Really cool to see inside the ARRI facility. I've never seen such a camera in real life but very cool to get an inside look on where and how they are made. Great team at ARRI, smart guys!
This is very cool. I worked at an Arri rental house in San Francisco back in the BL IV era. I was an accessory tech, meaning I cleaned filters and wiped down follow focus rings. 😅 I was the guy that fetched accessories for the ACs prepping cameras. Then I went to work in grip and lighting.

5:29 Nice! When I worked at a military contractor we would take avionics boards and dip then in conformal coating then leave them for a few days in a climate chamber. I mean it definitely cycled colder than -20 and a lot hotter than 45. But it's cool to see anybody doing that kind of QA with non-military stuff.
