Young Sheldon did a fantastic job of referencing and slowly incorporating Sheldon's quirks. It would have been cool had Jim Parsons chimed in and said something like, "Technically, Missy was wrong. I did not meet someone at Caltech... It was at a coffee shop between Caltech and my apartment." Amy: "Oh big difference." Sheldon: "Indeed." Amy: [sighs]

am I the only one who feels like in the last few seasons they’ve pushed the sibling “love-hate” relationship between Sheldon and Missy a bit too far? Now it just sounds like they hate each other and don’t have heartfelt conversations

I'm always puzzled why Missy and Georgie weren't even slightly surprised when Sheldon was getting married. I'd be curious to know what the "smart weirdo gf" looks like.

I love me some Meemaw, but deal with the way Dale has decorated HIS home & relationship or not, respect it. You & Mandy's mom get away with way too much without being put in your place. 😂
Note that Sheldon was growing up surrounded by strong minded (and often stubborn) women. No wonder that despite Sheldon's many character flaws, misoginy is never one of them. I also love how literally ALL female characters in the series are strong minded. There is not even one mild manner housewife who obeys her husband day and night like the typical stereotype. Even the dean of East Texas University is a woman!

Hawkings was not at Caltech in the 1980s, now Fenyman who is a bigger deal than Hawkings in the world of Physics was.

@@JoybuzzerX makes no difference as Hawkings was not a Caltech in the 1990's either. He was there in 1974 for I believe one year might have been two.

It would've been nice if Paige was his sister, she has a lot of Missy's personality but could also relate to him intellectually.

I think I tried everything but the last one was not working for my computer it’s just the same thing that I tried on my computer I tried it again it doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere I don’t have it right here in this one is not on there so I’ll see how this works out but I’m trying really good 😌 but the only reason 😢😢😮😮

Sheldon is for school, but the others (Mary, Missy, and George Sr anyway) were planning on moving to Houston for George sr’s new job offer
Sheldon is. George, Mary, and Missy were going to move to Houston because of George's new job.
What’s frustrated me is that in previous season, Sheldon was feeling regret about snitching on Missy, he wasn’t enjoying being hated by his sister and sincerely was hoping that she would forgive him. She even give him back his walkie as a way of saying that she truly no longer want to do anything with him again and Sheldon was heartbroken. Why the writers didn’t come up with a plot about Sheldon and Missy reconciling and Missy finally admitting, like Shelly did, that she genuinely care for him. Because this season practically act like the last episode of season 6 never happened, not only the plot in Germany feel completely pointless now but we never see Missy taking back her walkie. It’s truly a shame that they messed up the siblings relationship, at this rate, I think Missy wouldn’t feel any regret if his brother was killed.
I think it’s supposed to be that way because their relationship was sour until adulthood in the first episode of BBT that Missy showed up in.
Yea no I also feel like they kinda just ruined their relationship now, Sheldon and Missy used to pick at each other but still genuinely loved each other, Sheldon’s referenced that in his high school graduation too. Now there’s not a single scene of one expressing love for the other.
We already know from The Big Bang Theory that Sheldon and Missy eventually reconciled, and Sheldon and Georgie eventually fell out, though.

True, even in S6, Sheldon was showing that he truly love his sister, he got worried about her when he find out that she was hanging out with a mean girl and he was heartbroken when she told him that she hates him and would never miss him. Why they didn’t give Missy a moment like that ( maybe in the final episode but I have no hope ).
Yea this is one of my few biggest complaints about the show, they totally ruined a beautiful relationship
