This country wasn't there for thousands of years and suddenly Russian Enperor created it by taking Aemenians from Iran and Turkey and now these things are happening.

So why is everyone so angry at US for trying to keep the world alive and blood pumping? A lot of people benefit from this US meddling - if they didn't insist on South China Sea belonging also to Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines (as per international law) - China would eat everyone alive.

    • In the early years of conflict, they expelled all Azerbaijanis from Nagorno Karabakh, 40 000 people. And without Azerbaijanis they voted for independence and this referendum was not recognized so this is brutal violation international law. In addition, there were more Azerbaijanis than Armenians in all of Karabakh. Armenians were the majority in Khankendi. About 1 million Azerbaijanis were expelled from all of Karabakh. They suffered a lot. After the second Karabakh war, Armenians who were deliberately settled illegally were given a lot of time to leave Kalbajar and Lachin. By the way, when the Armenians left, they burned houses and trees. But when Armenia occupied the territory of Azerbaijan in the 1st Karabakh war, the Azerbaijanis were not given much time and faced a lot of hardship and suffering. Armenians even committed massacres in Karabakh. Azerbaijanis who saved their lives had to live in tents in very bad conditions. My mother is from Karabakh, from Fuzuli. My father is from Vedi (a region in Armenia). More than 300 thousand Azerbaijanis were expelled from Armenia, about 1 million Azerbaijanis were expelled from Karabakh. Armenia is currently a mono-ethnic country, but it was not like that before. There were many Azerbaijanis. Even in Yerevan, the majority were Azerbaijanis. Armenians oppressed Azerbaijanis. Now the cycle has changed. They will pay for what they did to us! This video is extremely biased.

    • Azerbaijan was very democratic country back in 90s, and armenians attacked and occupied our lands. We have refugees over 1 millions, Armenia deserves punishment. They gonna be losers always, if they don't learn from history. Instead of being pawn of Russia, Iran and some other countries they must worry of their own tale. Attacking newborn neighbour with the help of Russia and killing civilians must have proper response for the sake of future. Hopefully, they won't be silly in geopolitics anymore.. Spreading false info and playing innocent and crying for help won't help them. Better, learn getting along with neighbours.. Why Georgia doesn have any problem with Azerbaijan, why Azerbaijan has many friends all around the world? Because, we respect others territorial integrity and want Peace, and good relationship with others! But, if you do not want peace and start fight, we will fight better.

And in 2018, Armenia underwent a mini revolution where the PM stepped down in favor of a much more pro-West guy (Pashinyan). It's widely believed that Russia is punishing Armenia for this decision. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's gas agreement with the EU is a big deal, but otherwise their characterization as an EU ally is pretty inaccurate. Their largest supplier of weapons was Russia for decades, only recently starting to change as they import more from Israel and Turkey. Unless I missed it, the video also doesn't mention how Azerbaijan's government is a dictatorship. Surely that has something to do with the wars.

    @meeeeeeeeeeee@meeeeeeeeeeee Жыл бұрын
    • Armenia is a case of "you don't bite the hand that gives you food". Russia was defending Armenia and they had a political revolution against Russia. They sold out Russia politically when she was of no use to them anymore. Without Russian assistance Armenia is hopeless. Now that Russia already has everything that she could possibly have from Armenia, she cares as little as possible especially after they were betrayed once by Armenians. Armenia will get worse and worse but again most people don't like traitors. Armenia sold out the US as well. When Azerbaijan was closing in they went back to Russia. They are part of Russia's military alliance against NATO. They go for shorm term interest rather than a loyal long term ally.

This land had a largely Armenian population before, but the Soviet Union divided up the lands. Nagorno Karabakh was part of Azerbaijan since the 1930s, but had lots of autonomy (own parliament, laws, etc.). Zoom ahead to 1991 and the region of Nagorno Karabakh called itself independent from Azerbaijan. The latter of course did not agree, war broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Armenia won and took some extra land. Skip to 2020 and Azerbaijan took that extra land back. Skip to 2023, and they're taking all land back.

As they were losing the control over Bolsheviks they needed a christian and controllable society in the territory of Azerbaijan. So they migrated the Armenians. And within the time the amount of armenians enhanced. Actually before they attacked us in 1990s we were very close nations. The Armenians were living all over the Azerbaijan( not as dense as in Karabakh). So Azerbaijan didn't aee the chance of Armenians sudden attack.

If western media claims they have resolved some conflict or whatsoever, it means solution benefited only western nations, because that's what "peace" means to them. Countries in the conflict zone still suffer and they call it "peace in the West" even though they won't admit it. Western involvement to any problem will just make it more complicated and extended.

Egypt has historically been an ally of Greece too and neither people's had good relations even within the ottoman empire when iirc the governor of Egypt at the time marched an army at the ottoman center of power and had to be stopped by the European powers. As for Iran and Egypt since Egypt is a big ally of Saudi Arabia it's kinda obvious what their relationship is like.

    • An important but overlooked detail. Pashinyan, the leader of Armenia, is a protege of Soros and continued to pursue the pro-Western policy of such predecessors as Saakashvili. The Armenian government feeds on grants from the US democracy support, supported anti-Russian sentiments with the help of funding pro-Western and anti-Russian youth organizations. In the long run, Armenia was going to betray Russia, to which it owes its existence, and withdraw from the union, as well as demand the withdrawal of Russian military bases. The escalation of the conflict in Karabakh has brought Armenia back from heaven to earth. But all the same, Pashinyan is constantly trying to push through a suicidal European anti-Russian policy for Armenia. US-funded youth movements continue to operate in Armenia, the US funds politicians, journalists and opinion leaders of Armenia to promote its anti-Russian goals, which at the same time are suicidal for Armenia. There are more in the US Embassy in Armenia than in any other country, although Armenia is very small. Pashinyan is trying to sit on two chairs.

That is, a protege of the United States in the presidential chair and hundreds of different non-profit organizations acting on orders from the United States. Most Armenians talk about it without a drop of embarrassment 😁 The footage of a dozen runaway Russian liberals, who themselves are fed from the budgets of various American non-profit organizations, was especially amused. 🤣🤣🤣

    • @@garym.5931 1st. The "pogroms" were the consequence of what had been happening in Armenia & Karabakh to ethnical Azeris: from the early 1980s, as they were being forced out & expelled from Karabakh & Armenia (in early XX century, majority of Armenia's population were ethnical Azeris, until Russian Empire started to resettle Armenians in the Azeri khanates), This amounted to hundreds thousands of ethnical Azeri population of Armenia & Karabakh becoming refugees and fleeing to Az-an. The situation intensified when Gorbachev came to power in the mid 1980s: he had some strong pro-Armenian (ethnic Armenians) supporters/nationalists in his govt who allegedly had Gorbachev promised that Karabakh will become Armenia's. 2nd. "Pogroms" in Sumgayit were well organized and came after the expelling of Azeris from Armenian SSR & Karabakh in the 1980s: expelling of Azeri population from Armenia & Karabakh is what had made so many Azeris so angry. The key leader of "pogroms" was ethnical Armenian from Baku (who was later sent to "serve his term" in Russia but apparently soon after was set free to live his life as he pleased, after helping to destroy the lives of so many), but that didn't stop him from killing and raping his fellow Armenians. Of course there were ethnical Azeri criminals among them, too (criminals are criminals in any nationality) but quite a few Armenian Azeris as well. This was a well set up operation as the later KGB investigation had shown, albeit it was abruptly ended. Who cares for the truth, eh? Azeris are to blame and the end. And don't forget 20 January 1990 aka Black January - did Azeris shot themselves as well?

The way I see it is there is either dominance or conflict, and the playingfield is evening out, the third world is catching up and the west is fracturing and becoming decadent. The west in some sense has been a decentralised benevolent empire relatively speaking. I think the ukraine war is probably the best thing that has happened to the eu and nato as it has reminded us why we should work together and that the world isn't as idyllic as some like to imagine it is.

    • @@hagalathekido The world hasn't been "umimaginably peaceful". Just in the 21st century alone US fueled foreign policy with Europe on its side waged several criminal wars that destroyed entire countries. There was a recent report that estimated 6 million deaths resulting from US's War on Terror mostly civilians. They sent Libya, previously the most prosperous nation in Africa, back to stone age because of daring to stand against Western hegemony and colonial nations like France are still exploiting and extracting wealth from Africa today while the US sponsor the genocide in Palestine by the apartheid state of Israel and the genocide in Yemen by Saudi Arabia. It has been reported that decades long drone strikes in Afganistan killed 90% civilians and as Julian Assange said the whole point of the 20 year long invasion of Afganistan was to transfer tax payer money to elites in the military industrial complex. They literally had zero motive other than that to stay there for 20 years. And perhaps an even worse offender was the invasion of Iraq based on complete lies (weapons of mass destruction) to steal their oil. Besides waging wars US also continues to crush the economies of many South and Central American socialist countries leading to poverty, hunger and death like in the case of Venezuela or just overthrows their elected leaders to install their brutal puppet dictators loyal to them like in Chile. Basically anyone that's the slightest threat to the empire is dealt with in horrible ways. The world definitely hasn't been peaceful post WWII just because European nations stopped fighting each other and US stopped Japan by nuking them. Honestly the unipolar world after the collapse of Soviet Union has been a complete disaster (not saying Soviets would rule any better not the point). US had the chance to use its dominance post Cold War to at least try to establish a fair and just world order instead they used their power to exploit and destroy and make themselves rich and the unraveling of the unipolar world order isn't likely to lead to any benevolent power centers either. One might argue that humanity has never been more hopeless towards the future as today.
