How to Sprint with the Ball
Running at speed is hard enough. Add a football to the equation and it can be an awkward situation all around. Well, fear not!
In todays video we’ll discuss all the steps to get you up and “running” (sorry about that).. for your first speed dribble of the ball. We’ll also talk about how to change direction, dribble through players and of course.. STOP ✋
I really hope you enjoy this one. Let me know what step most stuck out to you.
Cheers Folks,
Tony

Also, great video as always, I am already one of the best players in my team but these videos make sure I am always working on my game and in top form. And we always have something to work on! • Hey pls answer i want to ask about ive heard when you dribble at speed you should extend your leg so when you hit the ball it is naturally a soft touch and it allows you to hit your top speed is it true?

    @dragonlaradiographie8964@dragonlaradiographie89647 ай бұрын
    • No it's not, the leg extension is actually done with a specific interval in mind. When you're in your high speed zone, you want to keep a measure of control on the ball you're not making youself faster, you just want a long leg span to protect the speed you picked up but you should also be able to carry the ball with you. Having long strides to keep the ball in control is a good method at open space. But if you're going to attempt your top speed, you will have to use longer knocks

    • It’s definitely tough playing a sport that’s not super accessible, but I would encourage you to really give it a crack, even if it’s at home in the living room. Just learning the basics, and getting your foot on the ball is super rewarding. Once you start I bet it will be hard to stop. And who knows, once you dive into it, you may realize that others are in the same position as you, that you could play with 🧡

  • whenever I dribble with speed and pressure in a match I kick the ball too hard either with my inside or outside of the foot and the ball moves too far away and I end up giving possession to the other team do you know how I can fix this?

    • I would suggest taking smaller delicate touches to stay more in control 😁

  • You didn't explained about close control dribbling and how to be aware of the defenders around.

    • You’re right! Just mindful that I want to keep it clear and concise so it’s not overwhelming. A lot of my previous videos help explain these other 2 points a little better 👍

  • For proper contact with the ball do you need tight boots or slightly tight boots or oversized boot(this mean that you will be able to wiggle your toes in the boot) Need suggestions 🙏

    • Bro the better is that you test yourself different sort of boots and you will find what you prefer, I would say in my case (i have the puma that Football folk wears in the video) that it nerfs to be enough tight to hit well and avoid sprains but not too much or the toes and the foot will Be compressed and it hurts, try

    • I like to have a comfy fit. Enough room to wiggle my toes, but not to much where it’s gonna get in the way of controlling the ball :)
