Great work, if you need any other wood work from Kosovo we can definitely do business, thank you
Hey thanks for the free plans, Amgio! (that is Texan for new friend)
❤❤❤
I need that towel rack. I might add a bar on the bottom to hang one or a hand towel. Thanks for the video
❤❤❤
“Im not gay” @3:31…. Dead! 🤣💀 I was not expecting that comment at all. Nothing but love for you. And you’re right, people will pay since they don’t know how to make things out have tools
Yeah.made me laugh aswell 😂
Lmfaooooo I died 😂
My roommate is sleeping in the next room, I should say was lmfao. Man that was funny hahah
Hy jane
I haven't heard anyone say that in years! Too funny!
Most important thing is probably the pictures they used to sell these things, they make a simple piece of wood look very very cozy!
Men like baths too 😂
Tusen takk, Are. That candle holder looks super easy to make and looks nice. I like your version with the nail in it.
Thank you, Matt!
Hehe the nail kinda didn’t sit well with me :) would maybe use a forcener bit and make an indent in stead
Good to see you back on the Scene looking well - Look forward watching you make things best of luck my friend x
Thank you!
Hei Are.Du er den første Norske youtube snekkern jeg har funnet. Veldig profesjonelt lagd og gode tips 😊
Relaxing is relaxing 😊
Good job thx for sharing Cheers
Thank you by the way cause this is a really good video to get people going
I feel like the towel rack would look way better with dowels. I'm gonna do that.
Great video. Some ideas to think about.
2:55 "Hopefully you can see that" 😂 Also, great video... gonna try some of these I think.
As I get older my needs have gone from a consumers mindset to a manufacturing mindset. It should be the other way around, but I’m glad to have all these skills now that benefit myself and my understanding to human nature.
I was trying to work out the mountain shelf and figure out how it was 36" long and only 5" high. Because it really didn't make sense dimensionally. Turns out I was correct after rewatching your post. It's 36" long and 15.5 " high. In your post, the arrow is covering the 1, but I caught in the description. I'm not sure how these would actually sell, but unlike the negative commentary, I'm going to at least give them a try. Thanks for the post.
Oh, you’re right! 36x5" doesn’t make sense. Thanks for clearing that up 👍🏼
Great video! What is the coolest - most fun - item you enjoy making? Everything isn’t about sales- the coolest things will sell and aren’t usually copied by others-
Well done
Liked and subscribed 😂👍🏼
Subscribed.
Har virkelig lyst å starte med woodworking, men hvor i alle dager får man tak i annet treverk enn Gran ellr furu i Norge?
Awesome video
Nice - thanks for the ideas! One of my thoughts when I saw the floating towel holder was : that thing must be pretty heavy! Do you think cutting the 2x4's in half would work as well?
So 2x2s? Yes, that would definitely work as well :)
@@AreBaloni Thanks - I wasn't sure if there was a reason that wasn't obvious about using the full size, other than maybe the 'rustic' farmhouse appearance. Here in the US, most of our walls are made with gypsum drywall, which is pretty soft. So the weight of things we hang on those walls really matters. The lighter the better.
@aieeejo it would also have the benefit of reducing materials and make more product. One 2x4 would make more parts. Good call.
What wood and finish are you using on those projects? Specifically towel rack & candle holders
“1 meter of a 2 by 4” 😂
My friend sell the Mountain Shelfs, and sell a TON of them.
Hvor får du tak i alle materialene dine? Forskjellige tresorter
your awesome!
How much does the outdoor furniture retail for? Thank you! New subscriber.
$1200
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Always appreciate it!
I actually loved your plain comment.
“I’m not straight but I do woodworking 😂”
But do you light candles in the bath?
Nice products. But have you actually sold anything on Etsy from Norway? do norwegians even shop there?
Thanks! No I haven’t. I use Instagram and Facebook to sell. I thought about maybe trying to sell on etsy, but I am worried, as you say, that I dont think many norwegians use etsy to buy.
So, how much have you sold via Facebook and Instagram?
FIRE SAFTY AND WOODEN CANDLE HOLERS
I think the dimensions on the mountain shelf are off a bit. It's definitely taller than 5.5 inches
Yes, you're right. Should be 15" :)
Gooooo Are :D
😄😄
Incredible work, where are the plans?
Thank you! www.arebaloni.com/
How much money does the outdoor benches & table sell for ?
I sell them for a total of $1200.
Wait a minute. You are mixing units and now I am confused. What is a one meter 2x4? 😄
4:15 it is called a toaster rack.🎉
Without a video as proof, I don't believe that you take baths with all those items. LOL :) j/k💯
I'm not gay 😅😅😅 That was funny 😄
lol. i laughed cuz i am gay lol
Feeling like you need to clarify that you're straight is so off-putting bro. Other than that, nice vid.
The problem is the market is flooded with these kind of products and unless you have great marketing skills, a already established client base or you come up with a completely original design then you are likely to struggle. Another problem is bigger sellers who buy in bulk can get materials and hardware far cheaper making it more difficult to turn a good profit against the big boys. Just food for thought
"I'm not gay" deed! 😂
Love to buy your plans, but I am in US and we use inches … 😢
I'm currently converting all of my plans to imperial as well :) You'll find some of the on my Etsy store: arebaloniwoodworking.etsy.com/
lol hilarious man..
7:24
Don't trip brother. Times are changing I'm as strait as they get and I use skin care products, I get manicures and even use cover up. I figured i don't do baths very often but us straight guys wanna lick back and relax to every once in awhile so mite as well go all out
Seriously if you can’t make these things yourself that would be a problem it’s not rocket science
Candles? Bath? Sounds pretty gay bro .. 😂
😂😂
TMI
A naked flame + wooden sconce = ## ne no ne no ## call the fire service quick ......
Your comment "im not gay, but i love a bath" earned my sub. Hilarious joke without concern for feelings. Yes!!!
Weird to comment about baths. You do not need to apologize for liking baths or scented candles, sir. I personally would edit that comment out.
Idk sounds kinda gay
It just proves how “woke” Americans are it’s completely fine that he said “I’m not gay” it’s funny infact
😂😂😂 with that said , as a gay person....... your bone structure is to die for.
lol. The I’m not gay line. Hilarious. 😂
"Im not gay" hahahahaha😂
Some nice items there mate, whether your gay or not😂😂😂
might not be gay but just taking a note out of their book... lol
Dog houses!
No one is completely straight.
Who got into woodworking to make the same simple thing over and over again? Just asking.
The thing is .. the way these are wade is so dumb to make . Impulse buy. Won’t last long
Seriously guys. Can you all stay on topic and the woodworking. If i wanted to hear about how he has or has not said something I would be on facebook or be watching a left wing woke channel. Are you are doing a great job. Keep it up and don't listen to all the snowflakes
👍
Ok guy who listens to Dan Bongino on repeat. Just because people have fun doesn’t mean they’re soft or anti-conservative😂
The only snowflake is the guy who's masculinity is so fragile that he had to clarify his sexual orientation because he lit a fucking scented candle 😂
What?
Shut up and watch the video
😂😂😂 yaaaa i don't think taking a bath has anything to do with gay 😂😂😂
I think when you do it in certain order, your gay.
Happy
I paint my toenails pink, and I'M NOT GAY. Just saying.
You are telling me that people in Norway are paying 35 euros for some T-shaped wood wall decor? The "smart" thing here is living in Norway where people pay so much money for such simple things.
The candle holder and the other etsy items are made and sold in US and Canada.
@@AreBaloni Thanks for clarification. That is insane money for such simple things. Different economies.
And how much are they in a store while usually bring more cheaply made?
🤔 I'm not gay!😂😂😅😅😅
I’m not guy , got my sub 😂
Reality check here, 95% of the comment reviews on this look like bot spam. $70 US with free shipping? Not only is some hobby woodworker not going to sell any of this stuff they're not going to make any money once you buy materials, spend the time to build it and ship it. There are way nicer bath trays than this for less money even, this is probably the crappiest looking one.. go look for yourself. Small shop woodworkers can't compete with all the cheap junk on etsy, so don't even try.
Call me old-fashioned, but cider in the bathtub sounds pretty gay (but also delicious).
3:30 - i`m not gay 3:35 - describes the gayest things ever))
Hmmm good to hear that it is not only gay people using scented candles and takes long hot baths 😉.....too bad you are not gay though, bet you got a nice tool rack 😂.............but seriously, nice tips you got here.Etsy er ikke for oss nordboere, tror ikke det vil lønne seg å selge noe der,å da blir det i såfall helst på eksport vil jeg tro☺
It's a pretty gay bath
One thing I've learn today: if you enjoy to relax and take care of yourself then you have to tell the rest of the world wich is your sexual orientation. Uh who thought about that!
That’s how it works, at least in Norway!
@@AreBaloni Well that's quite a weak reply in many ways (being polite), but I'll leave you in peace 👍
Bro having to prompt your use of candles to say “not gay” is so dumb.
Cry
Taking a bath=gay 🥴
next time maybe rephrase im not gay buy gay is okay with: im a sensitive guy i like to take care of myself ;) smoothest way to deliver said message
Yeah, that's probably better!
Phrasing has nothing to do with it, those arre simple old stereotypes, sooner we get it sooner we won't need to worry about phrasing.
change can be difficult if met with just anger and regime let change come from your mouth like a song into peoples hearts and minds. soon theyll repeat the chorus
@@jiphulsman274 I understand your point and I agree with it, there's no anger in my words, we all need the opportunity to change our view and to understand where our view comes from, sides only divide. Still, I don't think your suggestion to him was on spot, rephrasing in that way only saves his face, like the problem is about what someone can or cannot say, this may misleads some people into feel censored. Given the answer he gave me "in Norway works this way" tells me that he needs to experience and understand the subject more than learning phrasing tricks.
Feel like taking time to tell us about your sexuality is a bit weird.
"I'm not gay..." WTF?!?! That's like "I'm not racist but..." So not not needed. You almost had a another subscriber.
If you make that much money from making and selling these simple objects… why are you wasting your time making videos ? Something doesn’t smell right.
Wow , do people actually buy this crap ? When I was an apprentice they would have belted me around the ear ‘ole for making such rubbish. Our first project was to make a wooden case for your tools and I was only 15 then and my wages for the WEEK was £5.00.
You do you then.
Most people these days lack basic skill with tools. Unless it's a screwdriver, hammer, or bottle opener they have no idea what to do with them unfortunately.
Yup, these are nice projects, for an absolute beginner. But these days most kids don't know what a chisel even is, so... you have a market opportunity right there, if you can do the most basic woodwork needed. As I'm writing this comment I am starting to *feel* that I'm actually 50 years old and oh God, when did I turn into this grumpy old man, but... at the same time, what I'm saying is true. And that kinda sucks. Oh well...
"I'm not gay"..... Why on Earth would you even say that ?
