  • When many types.of IRON SHEETS were imported few years back India was recycling the DRUMS USED FOR TRANSPORTING TAR/ Bitumen.The work of cleaning the drums itself was big problem.But there were small industries who had made large oven to heat the barrels and remove the molten tar and the barrel was cut neatly , pressed by a heavy compressor using gravity and the sheet was used to make STEEL CABINETS. NOBODY WILL SAY THAT THE ALMIRAH IN THE HOUSE WAS THE TAR DUBBA USUALLY USED BY POLICE TO BLOCK ROADS.

    • im curious too so i read the description and saw “Ghamela”. also known as “tasla” is a traditional Indian labour tool which is used in construction sites. to carry the bricks, cement, concrete and other materials on the head. hope this helps
