Actually if you go back to melee and check pit's trophy you'll see he looks a lot different than uprising pit, he really did crib his style if you think about it
Pixalated and also the cover art showing a different Pit then what we know already. If anything, Pit's model style (cheekbones and anime looks) are at least somewhat of a copy of Roy's boyish face. Not that much. Same face syndrome if anything.

+Kokiri Kid I'm agreeing with you on this one because the series' kinda just started exploding in popularity outside of Japan after Awakening, which is game #13, whereas Eliwood was the star of game #6 which was a GBA Japan exclusive.

I was glad Roy was back in Smash 4 solely because I knew Awkward Zombie would have a field day with him in the comics.
What Fe fans see Roy: A 15 year old prince who has to fight in a war and is more mature than his age. What Smash fans see: A 15 year old kid that no one knows about and has a childish and arrogant personality.
What FE fans see Marth: A compassionate, if naive man, who relies on his companions What Smash fans see: A sissy with a holier than thou act
what melee, fans see: a character who played skillfully enough can beat any fox

@Linkium I think it’s because the FE games weren’t localized back then (I could be wrong I’m not a fan) So Awkward Zombie must’ve just made personalities for them because there was nothing to go off of

Roy actually had more hype than Ryu did. Either way I enjoyed this comic.
I think the joke is that Ryu, king of all fighting games, is much more significant than the one hit wonder Roy who is even younger than the Koopaling of the same name.

rose SKERRETT There's a very niche group of people who just want their character back from "insert game from before present game here" that, I can kinda get where they're coming from? Mewtwo was really his own character. Roy and Lucas were other character's reskins... Yeah, they're pretty unique now (lucas is) but I don't think people should be begging for them over fresh new characters.

Only hardcore fans rember Roy AS A FE CHARECTER. Even decent fans would only just remember eliwoods.
@@thebravegallade731 Why? Eliwood is the Main character of the first localized FE. They are not talking about Raven or Glade for crying outloud. Sure he doesn't get much spotlight because people like Lyn or Hector more but he still has quite the renown (he is the 2nd most voted male in CYL3, surpassing Marth of all people).
@@Andreu0rtin Um, forgetting Lyndis and Hector. Eliwood is only the main character for 1/3rd of the game.
The main story is around Eliwood. Lyn' story is really light on the "story" part basically being a glorified and extended tutorial and Hector's is his POV in Eliwood' story, he gets screentime and a really interesting side story about his brother but the story is still centered around the searching of Elbert (Eliwood's dad) and then dealing with the Black Fang, after they kill him.
@@Andreu0rtin TBH I never felt Eliwood as part of the main characters, Lyn was always there with a chill personality and Hector was the only one with memorable moments, a memorable design, and an actual personality, Eliwood was just like "I'm a good dude, I do good things, someone needs help and I help" and that's it.
I love the fact that even though Roy annoyed Marth in this comic, Marth was probably like the only one who NEVER forgot about Roy (with an exception of some characters like Pit)😂
I find kinda funny that Roy in FE6 is a kind lord and Pit in KIU is a fun guy while in this comic Roy became the moron with fire and Pit a vanilla protagonist.
@@ToonyDoodles also, marth and roy were interpreted through smash appearances only. notice the contrast between comic marth (arrogant, vain, classist) and FE marth (modest, team player, refuses to leave any of his men behind). katie herself points it out in one of the comics

Marth... was like the wimpy lil brother character with his puny b special and fairly harmless up special. And now there's TWO MARTHS on the roster? Real Marth players are Roy players dammit.

I like how not one of the Fire Emblem characters even act even remotely act like they do in their games. For those who don't know, canonically Marth doesn't care much for bloodlines, Ike isn't a commoner, and Roy is the very opposite of reckless and silly

***** Yeah, her name's Elice.
Yup, Elice is Marth's sister, and is one of the biggest reasons how Marth escaped Altea alive. She's also one of the last units you'll get in Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem. Aaaaaand if you believe the OVA to be canon, Elice gave Marth that tiara when he escaped Altea. So Elice is quite important.

I can’t stop watching this. This is one of the most well done comic dubs and I love the effort and quality that the voice actors put in to this that seems to be rare now-a-days.
