I like how there are people in the comments complaining about how the cameraman should've intervened, or about how the hyena is somehow the bad guy here. One, animals don't have a sense of morality like we do. There is no right or wrong for them to act on. Two, hyenas are carnivores. They're designed to eat meat. Their bodies will literally shut down otherwise. The African wilderness is an utter bitch to survive in, and this hyena found a literal ton or so of food just lying there. What else would she be expected to do? As a sidenote, hyenas are pack animals, so this one probably ate as much as she could stomach and then went to go find her family so they could eat too.
