  • This things nuts haha. I've built dual motor RC Cars before, and if you have independent motors driving front and rear axles, the front always spins up more. When you accelerate you get less load on the front axle, so the motor is able to get higher RPM's than the rear. Even when you use separate speed controllers. For the same throttle input, the front can spin faster with less load.

    @TomleyRC@TomleyRC26 күн бұрын
    • Having different diff setups is deffinitely not helping either, even if both controllers are set up the same it looks like the front has a shorter ratio or something since it was skipping forward even when crawling as if the rear was dragging it down

  • Love the video!! Try flipping the open end smallest tooth towards the direction you are cranking on, saw you had er flipped when trying to break free those rusted nuts on the shock top. Makes it slip off less.

  • Some suggestions for the boys: 1. Try and achieve a 60-40 power split (Rear bias, if even possible) 2. Fix those sketchy-ass brakes 3. Put even bigger, chunkier tires 4. Soften the front suspension a little 5. Under-tray, or at least a front shield 6. Stick a winch to the front 7. mount the generator inside, and not on top (to keep the center of weight as low as possible.)

  • I have been wanting to see a vehicle cab on a quad for literally years, this concept is amazing!! I wish I had something like this, it looks so FUN! I wonder how it handles in snow, how exciting!!😅 you guys are epic. I have a prediction that you guys might try slightly* larger tires, but I wouldn't be shocked if you didn't tho.

  • Man dope build !! I have some design suggestion, when designing structural part like motor mount 28:39 to ensure most integrity from the material, drill hole at least a thickness away from the edge. That way there is no way it will snap under load.

  • Many years a go, my friend and his dad made a 4motor/4wheel drive electric go cart, using 4 x 24v truck starter motors and a handful of 12v leisure batteries behind the seat (2 wired in series & 2 wired in parallel making a hefty 24v), outfitted it with 12" wheels with chunky rubber and, MAN! IT RIPPED! Over the sand, in the woods, it just went EVERYWHERE! 👌 😎🇬🇧

  • Guys, some remote controlled crawlers use a system called DIG. It basically puts the brakes on the rear wheels and drives the front wheels to make tight turns in obstacle courses or keep you from sliding in a less than ideal direction. You could do that with the dual motor dual controller setup in the JANK.
