  • I have the Cloud 2 and the Cloud Flight. I like to have a wired and a wireless. I love them both for different reasons. I wouldn't pay full price for the Flight any more but I got it in the sale new for £60 and you can't go wrong for that.

  • Hey I'm going to buy either Alpha or Cloud II and I want the one with better audio quality. In your opinion does any of them sound better than the other or would you say they are identical? Nice video 👍

    • They’re pretty much the same, the cloud alpha has a slight advantage, but it’s not very noticeable especially for the price increase, they both sound mostly the same.

  • I am currently using the steelseries arctis nova 7 purely because of the convenience of sound quality and simultaneous connectivity (bluetooth and 2.4Ghz). The major problem I have with them is the audio crackles a lot especially if it gets too high but it also happens sometimes even when the audio is pretty low. I need a pair of headphones where I can game on my PC whilst also talking to my friends on a PS party (unless I can somehow join a ps party from my PC). I play games such as Overwatch 2, Fortnite, COD MW2 and valorant so footsteps and game immersion are pretty important for me. My budget is around £150 but it can be increased. Also, can anyone explain how to fix these crackling noises I find on my Nova 7s and does anybody know any good EQ settings (on Steelseries Engine as I also game on PS5) for the games I have mentioned. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

    • I know that PlayStation has access to discord now, so maybe you and your friends could make a discord server and talk through there. Or, I think PlayStation has a mobile app where you can join parties, so you could connect your phone via Bluetooth to the nova 7s, then game on your PC. Best option if your looking for a new headset though is to use discord instead of PlayStation parties, since most won’t have dual Bluetooth/USB connection. My next review is actually on an Arctic Nova 7 and it’s arriving today, so I’ll let you know if I get any static and how to fix it.

    • @@LewisCherichel Thanks! The crackling noises is very bad on the nova 7s but could that just be because I bought a Used - Like New one off amazon instead of a Brand New one?

      @HasanAli-qm2ir@HasanAli-qm2ir11 ай бұрын
    • Maybe? Is it still within the return period? I bought a used like new version of my HyperX cloud alphas and I’ve never had a problem. If you can, return them and they should be sympathetic, then you can buy another Nova 7. Cloud IIs are good but no Bluetooth is a very very big downgrade, especially for such a similar price.

  • Should I go for the hyperx cloud 2 wireless for £70 (from amazon Used - Like New) or the hyperx cloud 2 for £50 (from amazon New)

    @HasanAli-qm2ir@HasanAli-qm2ir11 ай бұрын
    • Wireless is much more convenient, but since you can only use it wireless it depends if you have anything with an aux port that you would like to use the headset on, assuming your not returning your Nova 7s, I’d say get the wireless. Then use the Nova 7s for your phone and traveling. But, Nova 7s are pretty close to the cloud II in quality, plus offer that dual connection. So I’d say before you spend the money search on Reddit or something if anyone is having the same issue of static as you, maybe you’ll find a fix. Or wait till I get mine and see if it’s a problem with your headset specifically, or if it’s something wrong with all Nova 7s.

    • @@LewisCherichel I'll wait until you get yours and then I'll make a decision. Also, when you use sidetone on the Nova 7s there is a huge white noise when you put the volume wheel at max. I personally kept sidetone off for that reason. I have about 3 weeks left until I am no longer able to return the headphones.

      @HasanAli-qm2ir@HasanAli-qm2ir11 ай бұрын
    • Okay, just got mine and I see what you are talking about, whole lot of white noise when it's at max, if I put it at around 80% though it all goes away. But I don't hear any audio crackles. So seems like it's a problem with your unit. I know this is dumb, but try moving the dongle someplace where it is in the open, most of the time if anything is blocking it it could cause connection issues. Had some crackles on my Cloud Alpha, and moving the dongle to the front panel of my PC got rid of them completely. It didn't happen much though, so I just kept it in the back.

      @LewisCherichel@LewisCherichel11 ай бұрын
    • Comparing them, so far I'd say that thee Cloud IIs have more volume, without any crackle, so you won't need to put the volume at 80% or anything like that. But even at max, I would say it would be about 80% of the Cloud IIs max volume, so if you like listening to music, it has more volume. Remember though you can only use it with one device at a time, so I would really only recommend buying them if you have AirPods or something like that already for your phone, or you could keep your Nova's for your phone only.

    • I started having the crackling problem, but it seems that setting the chat mix dial, to 50% fixed it, I also haven’t Installed the sonar software yet, so try that and see if your crackling problem goes away. Seems like audio popping and crackling was an issue for the original Arctis 7s as well. And that fix worked for some.
