As for some interesting animators from the eastern block block with a unique visual style I would recomend Julian Antoniszczak (Antonisz). They have a lot of dialogue and unfortunately most of it is not translated but I think still worth a watch.

Can you make the Beginner Guide of Bernardo Bertolucci film.
There is actually a Japanese Blu-ray release of many of his works but it was limited-edition and is highly sought after right now...really sad that it was such a limited release. Also have no idea if they come with Eng subs. But I have the Amazon listing if you want to see.

I have the Japanese blu ray of all of Norstein’s films. I’m pretty sure it’s the only hd release of it. I’m not sure if anyone has uploaded anywhere
