I actually had a hair dresser tell me that the hair cuts I give my boys is pretty good... but I wouldn't cut anything except a really short cut, because I'm not talented enough for that.
I'm the only one that cuts my kids hair. My 16 yr old went to the barber a few months ago. He was asked who cuts his hair, he said his mom. The barber asked if I was a professional. I'm not. Needless to say, the barber didn't cut his hair the way he asked. So nope, it's mom or no haircut.

The worst part about the girl who pulled her bangs straight down is that she only cut with tension on one side. She actually cut the other side well when she lined it up and cut loosely 😂

I just call this a pony tail cut ✂️. Didn't realize I had been giving myself a wolf cut all these years. I have naturally curly hair and I think that's probably the best hair type to do this with. Do it wet scrunch it dry with your fave curly hair product. Beautifully layered without much length loss every single time.
Yep, almost exactly what I just posted :) The first time I saw "wolfcut" I was like what? That's the ponytail cut, been doing it since the 80's. Definitely works best on curly hair. Just did it again about a month ago, took off about 15 inches. My a/c in my car went out, and when I got to work it was wild.

what ppl are calling a wolf cut is not the actual japanese wolf cut, it looks totally different. watch a japanese hairstylist doing it, and you'll understand what I mean.

The mom who cut her daughter’s hair for boot camp stressed me outtttt! How is she gonna put her hair in a bun😭😭😭
😭 She’ll just have to get it cut SHORT short.
I assumed the point of the cut was to avoid having to put it in a bun. Because as long as her hair doesn't touch her uniform collar, she doesn't have to put it in a bun.

I've done "wolfcuts" on myself for decades. About every 7 years I just chop off all my hair. More recently, about a month ago when I cut off 15 inches and am now rocking the "disco look" according to my 16 year old. But I'm lucky, the shorter my hair gets the wavier-curlier it is. So it helps to hide any imperfections. I'd suggest people with straight hair just forego the wolfcuts or get it done professionally if you want layers.

I feel like a lot of these videos on tik tok are doing the bad 'hair cuts' on purpose. Especially the ones where the girls have long hair and then cut weird layers into them, bc honestly they can just go to the salon after and have those fixed.

These hurt my soul. I had my hair cut the shortest it's ever been over a year ago (I wanted it at the collar bone, instead it was chin length) and I'm still salty AF about it. I left a stylist I was going to for like 20 years over it.
My favorite part about Brad is he is realistic to the fact people are going to mess with their hair at home and he gives advice so it’s not a complete failure
I went to the hairdressers recently and told them I wanted a trim for my bangs as they'd grown to about the tip of my nose. Told them I want them to sit just above my eyebrows. She cut them as short as the girl at 6:39 did. I was not happy and it's been about a month. I have curly hair and that made the mess even shorter so now I have to clip them to the side because I cannot possibly style them as bangs. They look as if a kid had chopped them off in my sleep. edit: she also cut them wet and pulled them straight so really just another reason never to go back.
For everyone who doesnt know what a big deal the bang thing is, My bangs go past my collarbone when I pull them down and they spring up to my eyes. It's bad.
It's so hard to find good stylists who actually know how to work with curly hair. Id always end up just fixing whatever they messed up myself at home rather than going back for them to butcher it all over again 🤦🏻♀️ now i go to salons with predominantly black stylists and clientele as they actually understand how curls work and how to care for, cut, and style it right the first time!

I actually cut all my long hair off last week, it is the shortest it has been since I was very very little it’s even shorter than my brother’s (who is growing his out haha) thanks to watching so many of your videos I managed not to end up in this category and it looks great and I feel fabulous! 1:53 - that happened because she didn't comb her hair out properly before she cut it. She probably had lumps and bumps at her scalp. We all know when we get lumps in our ponytail they stick out in little chunky loops. All those little loops that she had by her scalp showed in the layers after she cut it. This is why it's important to brush your hair from the scalp all the way down so that the hairs are lying completely flush against your head without any lumps.

I did the ponytail layers last year before Christmas and it turned out so good.
I had something similar happen as with the 1st lady with the wolf cut. I didn't cut in 100% straight line & didn't blend it in at all and ended up with those steps. So I did it again & over directed into a single ponytail 5x,slowly sectioning & going up my head (idk if I make sense). After each cut I made sure I took off the same amount & point cut after doing the initial cut (I have dense hair) in order to blend it in. Took me like 2 hours to fix my mistake but my hair looked good & I didn't take a whole lot of length off either.
My day was doing real bad because of Physics homework, and i just see that Brad uploaded and before i know it my mood just gets better by 110%

If you can afford it, get your hair cut at a salon. If not, search KZhead for Brad's instructional videos on how to cut hair. Tip: curly or wavy hair is hard to cut. You can feel more confident if your hair is straight. Get a buddy to follow the video with you and make sure you are following all the steps.

when i was little, and my mom had to trim my bangs; she would put a piece of scotch tape across my bangs and then cut along the bottom of the tape line so that it would be straight. because i had a huge cowlick in the middle of my bangs and i was a wiggly kid. XD

She didn't brush out her crown, she just flicked a brush through and cut it! When you got long hair, you have to really comb it through from the scalp! 💚

9:50 the mom was actually cutting in between to bands so they could donate the hair. At least that's what I assume based on how much hair was cut off. You can definitely seen the two bands in each pony tail
We been going this hair salon crazy cuts for years and the hairdresser Rachel cuts our hair every time so when we get done we donate it to locks of love and honestly we would have so much hair cut off it could make a wig not kidding and if you were there you would see the floor is covered of hair no lie

i had a pixie for about a year, and though i’ve since grown it out (got bored lol) i absolutely LOVED having it! so much quicker to get ready, easier to wash & dry, and so confidence boosting. i hope you love it!
