Love him or hate him, Kyrgios is changing the game and bringing more people to tennis and I’m here for it
He has been around for a while. Dont think he bought more people who arent already watching.
@@claus1225 he brought me back to the game
@@pilzz03 that's exactly what he does
@@claus1225 even if he's not,he's definitely making tennis way more exciting to those that were already watching
He brought me back! Since Wimbledon!
About time, US Open. I’ve been waiting breathlessly for the extended highlights of this match. Thank you!
This grand slam is so enjoyable to watch. Thank you US OPEN. You're the best at highlights this early and length.
nah ao do highlights and extended less than 2 hours after each match, every match
Incredible tennis. Would be a dream to see Kyrgios v. Alcaraz in the final.
Oh yeah; that would be incredible!
Tiafoe
Oh yes !
i think it will be!
I have no idea who else at this point. Both are playing at their best now. Sinner just below them.
Kyrgios' return of serve has massively improved from few seasons ago, in my opinion. Now he has consistent and sharp returns to constantly put the serving opponents on edge. If one can say Alcaraz has inherited from Nadal his defense skills and fighting spirit, as well as from Djokovic his backhand, Kyrgios inherited from Federer his near perfect serve and now Djokovic's return ability. It would be a match of the year if Alcaraz and Kyrgios meet up in the finals, without a doubt.
Kyrgios was on fire after wimbledon. I’d love to see him lift this trophy!
If Kyrgios had lost set 1, it would probably have gone 3 sets to none Medvedev.
@@notsohandytim5090guess what happened champ he didnt
18:40 I think the commentator has acted very badly saying that he has a trial in October for domestic violence. The presumption of innocence must be respected. He should limit himself to talk only about the game
Some SJW. Yeah, leave it at the gate, I'm here to watch tennis.
The commentator is a 'ridiculous' buffoon.
u sure get offended easily
I love Both! They both are the future of tennis!
This is such a welcome result for Kyrgios after a pretty rough summer. Now he just has to grind it out to another grand slam final
How the nick changed the minds of dozens of commentators who spoke ill of him a year ago. They are the turncoats. I don't change favorites since the first time I saw the Nick playing I really liked the spectacular game he gives, I don't like players who only stay at the bottom of the court 😜
It is Nick who has changed. For one thing, He is now winning, but most importantly he’s not picking up fights with the crowd, the umpire of his racket.
As a football fan, the only time I watch tennis is when Kyrgios is playing.
i never seen medwedev getting dominated like this since he is at the top .. nick was playing an insane level in the third and fourth .. his best performance in a gs so far like it or not but a fot mentally stable kyrgios is up there with the best to ever do it ..
Nick is on fire!!! Always amazing & highly entertaining when watching him play. As another person described, the level of difficulty of his shots & amount of talent he has to produce them at whim can only be compared to the likes of Federer and I couldn’t agree more.
one of the better tennis matches ive seen in a while
Kyrgios in his prime glad to watch that live ! Can win the whole thing
Kyrgios has what most tennis players today lack and that is personality
I think you mean personality disorder
It's Nick's time to be a major champion.
Kyrgios...what a forehand 👏👏👏
kyrgios is now my favorite player cool and funny , of course very talented. i hope he wins the slam
Love this extended highlights
How, why has he not been doing this all this time, Nick?
Love these highlights
Kyrgios its a huge player. If he want it, he could be a US Open´s winner.
Well done Nick!!! 👏👏👏👏👏 ☝🏽Заметьте: никто не радуется успехам российского теннисиста, а когда Ник Кирьос совершат успешные атаки, весь зал взрывается от восторга и радости!!!
Kyrgios was underdog
Masterclass attacking aggressive tennis from Kyrgios. Medvedev was completely picked apart.
Nick v Frances in the final would be a dream!
This Kyrgios is a unique problem to anyone in the other side of the net. His focus now compared with a year back is night and day
I used to not like Kyrgios, but I have come to like his genuineness. He is real, he doesn't hide behind protocols of how to act, he says what's in his mind. Go all the way Kyrgios!!!
Such a fun game to watch!
Nick is the reason I watch tennis. Dude is so fun to watch
I never seen Medvedev look so defeated on these US Open hard courts. Nick dominated Meddy in his house and it's not like Medvedev played bad
i think he thrives on crowd support that he didn't get during this match. So he lost motivation. This is one reason why i love djokovic he thrives on crowd hate.
I was mesmerised by Nick the first time I saw him play ❤ he has something the others just don't have. He definitely makes for an exciting thrilling game .
Amazing that Kyrgios can do this while only giving 100% about 80% of the time. 'course, maybe the games and playfulness are his way of conserving energy for when he knows giving 100% is worth it?
Damm the first set tie break was intense
I just hope Nick keeps this up! He has the talent n the flair n just has to learn to keep his emotions under control, coz if he can beat Medvedev he can beat anyone!!!! I wd like to see him meet Tiafoe...another player I love😊
My opinion is, Medvedev are the best tennis player these days... no matter what...
thats YOUR OWN opinion.
and what a terrible opinion it is
Your opinion , but probably an unpopular one judging how this match is going 😮
Sorry did I miss something? Why is the applause for Medvedev so awkwardly silent? I know there is the war going on, and I know he has trolled the NY crowd in the past...but this is just eerie honestly
They adore Kyrgios too much
@@Adaobieistyping is that really the reason? at least they're not directly booing/antagonizing the guy. I've always hated the New York crowd honestly. They booed Djokovic in like 2008 for responding to comments Roddick was making and then they booed Osaka because Serena was getting mistreated. The crowds at all the slams are pretty obnoxious, but the New York one is hands down the worst
@@skippythealien9627 it’s definitely because of Kyrgios.
wow what a battle!
Medvedev was playing too defensively
Kyrgios reminds me of prime Rodick. Huge serve, big forehand, perhaps a bit more variety but less consistent.
When Nick plays like he can, and if he wants to play like against Medvedev, then he can beat anyone
WOWZA!!!!!
What a great performance and fierce competition. Nothing short of gameplay of the 3 GOAT’s.
This is the person who will be the next emperor
insane
The greatest rivarly of the next ten years(if Nick gonna play and play serious for so long), along with Alcaraz-Sinner
Nick can take both Sinner and Alcarez no worries . When he's on it he's a wrecking ball . I love him ❤
dont get how Medvedev became number one . he reminds me of Murray... strong contender but never the MAIN PERSON .
Kyrgios is fun to watch..
So there’s no in between ? Either a 2 minute highlight or a 30-minute-which-i-dont-have-the-time-to-Watch-highlights.
us open is BIAS
US Open, WTA, ESPN... all media is bias, just ask Raducanu!
Neek in basketball jersey with Mark Carillo talking about what she’s witnessing is the GOAT 🐐
Neek???
@@katerinapatiniotis5598 Neek Keerios
Medvedev hasn't been the same since the AO2022 Final.
We haven't had a grunge-boy in world pro tennis since Agassi. Muscle shirt and backwards baseball cap.
RF was majestic and beautiful with his tennis but K was more spicy and savage.
Kyrgios is the McEnroe of our times.
Except McEnroe was always an idiot, Nick seems to have gotten control of himself- thankfully!
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks US Open Tennis Championships😎👍
can we all agree that with rafa out, nick is the favorite???
Alcaraz right there with him
@@Tommy-le7sg Hulkarza is the mass media product. They're promoting him so viciously despite the fact he's not producing anything special.
Medvedev got Kyrgios'd
At 8:34 Nick girlfriend looks like she's not even interested in the game lol. She's like "Oh its time to get up and clap. Let me try to look supportive"
I don't want to say this , but I'm going to , she looks interested when selfies and photo ops are on the agenda ! and expensive gifts are coming in her direction . Nick strikes me that he needs a stronger devoted to him girlfriend / partner or wife . She is none of those things !
Kygryos such an Amazing player and brings a fresh style to the game although suoer spoilt , little boy inside the way he acts is typical Aussie - that Aussie I'm the best attitude . Few more years when he over comes those demons he will be an amazing human being . Probably can turn pro in basketball .
I know Kyrgios likes basketball, but if he turns pro, he wouldn't be able to walk painless as middle-aged man later :)
He beats him and loses his next match he could have won his tournament
Why Kyrgios get mad even winning points?
perfectionist? some people are like that
@@gryu325 yeah 👍🏻 he gets very frustrated with himself also .
My two favourite players. I'm also going to complain about uploading 720p content in the year 2022 again.
ao are the kings of media
Kyrgios is winer on US open 2022!
Medved and Kyrgios 1,2 word
I'm calling it, Nick vs Frances in the final.
Nick is in pole position to nick the US Open 2022 final!!!
Nick is the champion. Or at least the finalist.
nope D:
Fun!
I will be the most unhappy person if Berrettini wins US OPEN. That would be not a justice.
He won’t lol
LETS GOOOOO
Let’s go nick!
I believe kyrgios will win the whole thing
I can clearly see that Kyrgios has more tennis smarts than Medvedev
Молодец Киргиос. Молодец. Наказал этого дистрофика нарцисса.
Can we find a middle ground and get 10 min highlights instead of having to choose between 3 or 30 min?
Great playing, but I don't like either of them.
Kyrgios is monfils + tiafoe + fognini
В третьем отдал свою подачу с сорока ноль и после этого пошло....вернее не пошло у медведя!))
Будем надеяться, что Карен отомстит за Даниила
too ez for the boy Nick
🇪🇸 GOATdal (Nadal) & 🇨🇭GOATderer (Federer) golden era of tennis & legend forever!!! Cheers!!! 👑💪🐐
hide your wife, hide your kids folks this guy climbing through yo windows snatching wins like it aint nothing
Is Nick the only top proffesional iin tennis without a coach? I guess its possible to be sucessfull without one!!
a significant portion of Americans have always been "not warm" to Eastern Europeans ......
The match between Kyrgious and Khachanov s going on behind me as I post this comment. Kyrgious has lambasted his box until now they're giving him a standing ovation on his double faults. No kidding! I saw that tonight after a double fault. How can any human being sit in his box and applaud on all his points so he doesn't get angry and cut off the checks. And his behavior is even more unconscionable. To expect that type of obedience from your box is terrible. Really, deep down he must be a very troubled individual. Yes, he's a great tennis player, but lacking in so many human qualities. I can't pull for him to win. In the Wimbledon final, I couldn't pull for him as I just didn't feel he deserved to be in the lineup of distinguished champions and be paraded out to center court for that remarkable celebration. He doesn't deserve to be in that group.
His temper is questionable for sure , but his box are family , friends and his latest arm candy , they must know he needs their support and can be volatile and fragile 😢 he shouldn't have to shout to get their attention ‼️
Nick's girlfriend is eyeballing Kokkinakis all the time.. She has a wandering eye that's for sure. Nick better watch her..
Haha
All we have to do is keep Novak out, and keep hating Russia.
😂
Medvedev needs to learn how to volley . C-
Rusofobia total!! Nick brillante!!
Now him and his body is done , I mean Nick
Too bad NOLE was NOT allowed to play. For me, Novax NOLE, has ALREADY lifted the TROPHY and triumphed as Champion of TRUTH. I stand for NOVAK DJOKOVIC! 🎾🥇💖
He has cajones and he has principles. I know why he refused to be jabbed.
Kyrgios is the GOAT
The GOAT of tennis & greatest champion of all time list: 👑🐐🏆 🇪🇸1) Rafael Nadal. 🇨🇭2) Roger Federer. 🇺🇸3) Pete Sampras. 🇺🇸4) Andre Agassi. 🇸🇪5) Stefan Edberg. 🇦🇺6) Lleyton Hewitt. 🇷🇺7) Marat Safin. 🇩🇪8) Ivan Lendl. 🇸🇪9) Bjorn Borg. 🇺🇸10) Jimmy Connor. 🇯🇵11) ninja warrior.
How do you just ignore Djokovic? List is complete nonsense.
When was the last time Nadal defeated Federer or Djokovic on hard or grass courts? If you can answer that, you might want to rethink your list.
Medvedev is one of the most unlikely world number 1 ever 😂
