  • Hey man great videos! Make sure to check the water everyday for the heat. I live in Florida and used to do this with small turtles also. The water can easily reach insanely warm temperates and kill the turtles

    • I thought the same thing, there's no where for them to escape the heat. Heat plus the water getting dirty could be a problem I'd think. The worst thing with turtles is they crap in the water which makes it so difficult to keep clean unless you have a large canister filter, and then that will still get clogged fast and require frequent sponge/ debris removal. Water changes are probably the best way to keep cleanish.

  • I did the same thing in my front planter. Love it bro!! I got a pump with a 3/4in hose that pours down the rocks and that wld make urs look sick if you did the same. I give it a solid 8.
