  • I wonder, how these good swimmers in US, switch between swimming/training/compete in pool measured in yards v/s pool in meters.

  • It’s ALL about his underwater. No one goes 4:02 in the 500 free and 40.2 in the lead off 4x100 . I would and wouldn’t be surprised if he set a WR in every stroke every event if he focused on it.

I know hardly nothing about swimming but he gives me the feeling he can break any record?] I'm also French but I always swimmed like a wrench - Nage comme une cle à molette quant à moi]

  • Hi what dose it mean 400 IM ?

    @januszciechowskiphotograph7297@januszciechowskiphotograph7297Ай бұрын
    • IM is short for Individual Medley. 100 meters of each stroke in this order: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle.

    • @@FaresKsebati oh right thank you I did not know about that shortcut English isn’t my forest language thank you for the reply 🙏

  • I want to be like him but my freestyle and backstroke are so broken. Cant turn myself on the left side on freestyle, cant turn my body to the side when catching water in backstroke, and my feet are just jackshit hahaha. Not much upper body strength too.

  • The one and only reason he is fast is because he has worked hard. Nothing in this video is why he’s so fast except his extreme discipline and talent.

    @SwimSprint@SwimSprintАй бұрын
    • No doubt he works very hard, same as everyone else in the heat. What separates him from everyone else are the core things I discussed in this video

    • @@FaresKsebati Spot on. Body proportionality, Spitz and Phelps had but often overlooked intangible, hyper flexibility and timing is what creates speed.
