Thank you @abdenacerharouni9234!
She isn't just a teacher, she's a part of our life, someone you'll always remember no matter where you are or what you do. I get a funny feeling that she has little to no down time at all. I don't know how she juggles her job and home going at a frenetic pace. Anyone else in her place would have frazzled out a long time ago. Kudos to you Rachel for your unflinching efforts to make our life a whole lot better. Godspeed

Hi Rachel, this is Mark from Asuncion, Paraguay. My goal always was to raise English to the level of first language. I had some challenges trying to reach that goal without living in the States. Some words, for example. I would learn to pronounce from native speakers from one region , I.e. “aunt”. So my English wasn’t always standard. In some cases I would hear the word “minutae” and I would also see it written, but could never relate one with the other, until I watched Seinfeld and Julia Louise-Dreyfus said it once. I wish so much I could join your class. Thank you thank you thank you.
Watching TV is a great way to get the pronunciation down. I'm running a sale on my Academy next week, keep an eye out for it!
Thanks for sharing your experience Mark! Hearing different speakers can be so valuable in studying pronunciation. Feel free to check out the REA Academy if you're interested in more practice materials! rachelsenglish.com/academy/

Guess it boils down to just one thing, how much you love to learn the language. For me it's a passion and not a challenge or something I need to work hard at. It's a lot of fun if you enjoy learning English
Great point!
Thanks, Rachel! One question: does work like this improve the listening skill too?

One university teacher said : I do not teach you to speak like an american ,you can probably wound your tongue. I teach you to understand what an american says." Rachel what can you say about this?
Building your listening skills is very important, but it's also important to build your confidence in speaking. Practicing American English pronunciation will not hurt your tongue, and many people find speaking English more comfortable after practicing pronunciation.

Could someone tell me what this sentence means? I checked myself into a bed and breakfast for two months. I've heard it in one of the rachel's videos.i can't understand what "check into" means here.
'Check into' means to register one's arrival at a hotel. 'Bed and breakfast' is a small and usually cheap hotel.
@@user-sj8qj1rs8r Thank you🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Hi! This means I rented a room in a "bed and breakfast" (B&B for short), which is usually a smaller local hotel where breakfast is included.
Wow I didn't know english was your Second language, I always though you were a native English speaker 😅 You speak like an american, does anybody knows where is she from?
I grew up in Florida! I lived in the Midwest and east coast mostly.

I saw this question online in a meme "A mother beats up her daughter because she was drunk. Tell me, who was drunk?" Kindly answer this with complete explanation mam.
The meaning is not clear without more context. Both options are possibly correct. We need more information about the situation to understand the meaning in this sentence.
🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Where were you when you taught English as a Second language in 1999? Philly?
Actually I was in the Dominican Republic!
