I've owned great Danes for over a decade and they're a pricey dog to take to the vet...I pay double of not triple what smaller dog parents are paying for the same concerns, I what never substitute vet care for any type of emergency situation. I saw a lady shopping the other day and the pet store and I saw her with four different hot spot treatments and sprays and creams...I told her to try vinegar and water 50/50 and spread on her dog twice a day for a few days and watch a difference. Or use unrefined coconut oil and rub into skin...they can all eat coconut oil and it's super healthy for them. How did you clear the ear infections with apple cider vinegar and coconut oil? Mine has a ear infection in 1 ear, the vet told me there were 2 different types so he had 2 different ear medicine, the one I believe kinda stung cause he had a fit when I put it in
I have a pitbull mixed and we adopted him from the ASPCA knowing he has a chicken allergy, dermatitis & also environmental allergies. We were feeding him raw foods (no chicken) and he seem to take it well. Recently his skin and paws have been so horrible. Behind his ears is dry and he has red bumps on his stomach. He also itches his paws until they bleed! He also has a very strong dog smell. He had a yeasty smell as well but it went away & the dog smell is just so strong. We tried the home remedies and also took him to the vet for his cytopoint shot but of course the vet is just so pricy. Any advise besides these home remedies if there’s more I can do? I tried all but wasn’t so consistent since we were just taking him to the vet but it doesn’t seem like any help.

Through my experience with my dog he has a flea allergy. I am not happy him having steroids so if possible try the above. I spray watered-down acv on his skin and rub in and leave to dry. That helps a lot. It also repels the critters coming bk. If the dog is still uncomfortable I rub warmed coconut oil from my palm into his dry fur on his back, under his belly and creases of legs and paws . Also i give my dog coconut oil orally too. It helps greatly. I apply it to my hand and he licks it off. I give him roughly a teaspoonful. In the end if he is still suffering i take him to the vet but most of the time it at least gives the dog a nights sleep and me too until morning!

It is also a greath product for petparents together with zink, C, D but not as a multivitamin. With allergies it can work greath to use huminzuur and fulvinesaur. Honey can get crystallized, which is totally natural thing. Then it gets solid and yellow in colour. If you encounter that just put the jar in hot water and wait for it to get back to more liquid state. Edit: in the wild honey is stored in bee hives. Search for beekeeping and it will be clear to you.
