Ginger cat Danny from Cornwall UK has been denied his usual walks over the past two weeks! It has been unsettled here in Cornwall. We have managed a few short walks with Danny, but not able to record him climbing trees and all of his other activities. Danny was spritely today, and up a tree in no time. It was also very wet and muddy, and Danny handled it well, as usual. We had wellies on! The opening shot is on Pentewan Beach in Cornwall UK on a windy day this week. Danny cat was purring at the end!
How scenic and Danny's having such a great time!
Thank you! Danny does enjoy his outings so much, he gets so excited. He is indeed living his best life 😀🐈❤️
wow Danny has got the moves...up that tree so fast....... I just adore him !
We had trouble following Danny up that tree!! ❤️🐈
Cats really need to roam free. Thanks for giving Danny a great life, the best of both worlds.🌲
Thank you for watching 🙏 Danny loves his outdoor life with us 🐈❤️
Precious Danny plodding through the mud. UNTIL …. the tree! World Class Sprinter! ❤🐾🐈
Thank you! The tree was a lovely moment, he hesitated, but we all knew what was about to happen 😂🐈❤️
What a life.... 😊🌸💕
Danny does have a wonderful like 😀🐈❤️
Danny the jaguar giving me a heart attack lol
Danny can do that, especially when he loses his composure up a tree 😂
🙂he loves climbing, got amazing skills
Danny absolutely loves climbing trees, he makes it look so easy 😀🐈
Lovely Danny, picking his way through the quagmire with such expertise 😊. Wonderful purring at the end too!
Many thanks! Danny doesn't seem to mind the mud, although he does avoid it where possible 😀🐈❤️
That was some muddy Danny but you didn't care. Loved the athletic climb up the tree. Bet you slept well. Love you Danny boy xxxx
Thank you so much Sue! Danny did sleep well, those trees take it out of him 🐈❤️
Danny's beach!
Danny would be too scared of a sea like that, he’s ok when it’s calm 😀🐈
Danny is a man of action❤😊
Danny is a man of action, when he walks with us he is unstoppable 😀Thank you!
A mocky day but birds were out and singing, a good sighn for better! beautiful tree Danny climbed, wonder what those pink flowers were on that other tall tree? they were beautiful! Little Danny has beautiful eyes!
Thank you! It was a nice muddy walk for Danny, he made the most of it as usual. There are a lot of flowers showing now, a real mix of what we think are Rhododendron, primroses, daffodils, and magnolias are budding, possibly azaleas too 😀
OH Danny, totally fearless in all that mud. I am glad you had wellies on it looks absolutely sodden. I bet you are glad to get out for a walk though!
It was a very mush needed walk, far too much indoor time because of the weather here! How is your summer in New Zealand? We are hoping for more walks now that spring is almost upon us 🐈❤️ Great cat tree on your site btw!
it is so calming to watch Danny do cat things. Much love to you both!
Thank you so much, it means a lot to us 🐈❤️
Hope you had your wellie boots on for that walk! No stopping Danny though after gingerly stepping around the mud & then whoosh....straight up the tree! No stopping him! He's like a kitten sometimes & lovely ending with him chilled out on the bed. Bless. 😺💙 x J x
Thanks Judy, we did indeed have our wellies on 😀 it was very muddy! But nothing deters Danny, that tree was asking for it 😂🐈❤️
1:55 Top Cat!
Danny never fails to impress, he went up that tree so fast, and we didn't realise just how high he had reached! 😀🐈
He needs a bell to give the wildlife a chance.
The wildlife has nothing to worry about 😀 Danny has never gone after a bird on his walks with us. He is too busy enjoying his adventures 🐈
Nice to come on your walk Danny been a busy week here I've had a fall my daughter has to go for scan on her hip but other that we are ok love the sea at the beginning of the video takes me back to when ilivedincornwall many years back
Thank you Julia, very glad that you are OK, the scan is a positive move 🐈❤️
@@dannycatyoung yes it is indeed .lots of appointments to come I feel 😂
Danny's living the life, almost.
Danny does love his adventures, he knows he is a lucky boy🐈❤️
@@dannycatyoung Surely looks so. Happy boy. I said almost because in my book only wild animals live their lives. But yea, you're giving him what he needs here.
Wow, can Danny move and climb fast up that tree 🌳 Joan 😊
Danny went up that tree faster than we could film him 😂🐈
Danny the jungle cat!
Danny does consider himself a jungle cat 😀❤️🐈
Watching you Danny always cheers me up! Love you Danny!😘😘
Thank you so much Mary! 🐈❤️
Same here. What a handsome ginger boy!
@@dannycatyoung thank you for all the hard work you do and sharing Danny with us!!
😸🍀Daredevil Danny! What a great time he had on his walk today. He's just so loveable and adorable all sleepy and purring with Dad petting him to sleep. Bless him, he's so precious.💤🌷💕
Thank you Sascha! Danny needed this walk, he has had a lot of indoor time due to the weather here over the past few weeks. He is a very precious to us 🐈❤️
he jumps up with the speed of bullet danny would survive in the jungle
You are so right! we have trouble keeping up with Danny when he decides to climb a tree 😀🐈❤️
To see another delightful video about a cat sharing a fun activity with her human, check out 'Fluffy cat runs fast as a cheetah and beats her dad in every race'. It's wonderful 😊. Their foot races are awesome!
Thanks for letting us know, we will take a look 😀🐈❤️
Thanks for taking us on your walk today, Danny boy! Your adventures in the wood are delightful. Up that tree you go with the greatest of ease. I have a fluffy orange tabby and he can climb up the tree but navigating down is another story. 😺 Enjoy your nap along side your Dad, sweetest of dreams. Love from Texas.
Thank you so much! Danny has mastered his descents from trees over the years, with only a few scary moments 😀 Great to hear from you in Texas 🐈❤️
Che bei posti e che bello Danny! Grazie per condividere con tutti noi❤🙏
Grazie mille Gabriella, significa molto per noi! Pensiamo che anche Danny sia meraviglioso 🙏🐈❤️
Gosh, he so expert at coming down trees. Cats don't have the articulated joints to allow them to do that 2:01 - Leopards do. Danny the leopard!
Thank you Kevin, we didn't know about the articulated joints! Danny has been up so many trees in his lifetime, and we have watched his many descents, we no longer worry about him getting down safely. And now that we know that he is a leopard we can relax more 😀🐈
Does Danny have a feline playmate?
Danny doesn't have a companion. We have thought about it many times, but at 11 going on 12 years old we do not think he would welcome another feline in his home. His brother passed away when he was a lot younger. We do our best as feline substitutes 😀🐈❤️
@@dannycatyoungWhat was his brother called?
Danny’s brother was Ollie 🐈⬛🐈
@@dannycatyoung ...I felt similarly when we had our first cat - Woody - over 38 years ago. He was our only until he passed away in his late teens (he was probably around 5 years old when we found him). Since that time we have had many cats and they all enjoy each other's company...albeit some more than others. Of course, you know Danny better than anyone...but with that said, adding another cat might be an additional and welcome stimulation for Danny (not that he appears to need any extra stimulation!). Looking back I regret not having a companion for Woody. I am certain he was bored while we were out of the house and working. Here in Arizona where we live (Scottsdale) there are just so many homeless cats...some in our neighborhood. All of our 17 cats, save one, that we have had over the years have been from the streets and I that I have rescued. We currently have four with the most recent addition, Little Bear, joining us a year ago after we rescued him from living in a tree in a dangerous neighborhood (he is now a year and a half old). Our eldest is 19 and the other two are 5 and 9. So we have the entire range of ages and they all get along nicely. Kittens, in particular, adapt quite easily, Forgive me if I have overstepped. Danny appears to be having the most wonderful life thanks to you and the beautiful area where you live. Apropos of nothing, I am currently reading Raynor Winn's outstanding memoir The Salt Path - perhaps you are familiar with it? - about her and her husband's personal struggles with health issues and losing their farm...and their effort to hike the 630 mile South West Coast path from Minehead to Poole.
