Ginger cat Danny had a short walk today in Cornwall UK. He was uncharacteristically upset by the bird taunts! We have not seen Danny bothered by birds before, but today they were vocal, and he didn't like it! Quite surprising because we have walked with Danny for many years and he has never been bothered by the sound of birds.

Danny, King of the Forest! Such an adventurer! ❤🐱. Love his infectious enthusiasm for his beautiful surroundings. The birdsong was absolutely exquisite and so clear in the winter air. It appears that Danny really enjoyed being "shouted at by the birds"❤.....

Yes it was, but Danny loves these conditions, he cannot cope with heat and so this was perfect for him 😀 when summer arrives and the temperature reaches anything above about 21 degrees Celsius he slows right down 🥵
So relaxed and confident as he knows he is an absolute unit.

It certainly feels like spring is approaching 😀🐈
On 1 January 2024, at 15:00, it is1 degree F (-17 C) with a wind chill of -10 F (-23 C) west central Minnesota, U.S.A. I would happily trade weather for the afternoon with Danny and his humans, but I doubt Danny would enjoy these temperatures. Danny enabled me to clearly hear the birds on his walk, but I couldn't understand what they were singing and chirping about. Maybe Danny understood and, thus, was sensitive to the birds' tones of voice. A lovely video!
My goodness you have some severe temperatures over there! You are right, I doubt that Danny could cope! He has experienced snow where we used to live and temperatures around -3 or -4 but not yours 🥶 it sounds like an amazing place though! The robin making most of the noise was talking to another robin further away that probably wasn’t picked up by the camera. 🐈😀
Danny might have been listening to all the birds calling to him on this walk & looking all around for them!!...but it was lovely to hear his voice today too talking to you! Happy boy. x J x😺

Agreed, I cut a chunk out because of that, we don’t usually go near that road, which isn’t too busy normally but it goes in to Charlestown which is popular especially with tourists.

Thanks Barry, it was hard getting the light right but he did look quite regal up there! The temperatures are improving, it doesn’t drop below freezing very often, so we have nothing whatsoever to complain about compared to many 🙂

Well it could of been because the birds were very high pitched for some reason today! and he was wondering why! Do you ever let Danny explore by himself? he pretty much knows his way home, he's just wanting to explore inside of the trees and bush, however understand that every situation is not the same! Danny is a beautiful Ginger Swirl and you don't see many of them!
Hi Pamela! Danny can go out as he pleases, he has a cat flap. But as he has gotten older he goes out on his own less and prefers to walk with us. He has always walked with us but now it seems he needs to be with mum and dad more. Thank you so much 🐈❤️

😸🐈🍀💕! Quite a beautiful adventure with Danny today. The chirping birds got cousin Tigger all excited and he started zooming around the house before he rubbed his ear all over the phone speaker. I watch Danny's videos on the phone because if Tigger sees him on TV he jumps in the window looking for Danny to stop by and say hello. Danny is one fine boy.❤❤❤

That is part of a cat’s life, especially Danny’s life. He is quite an expert tree climber and seems to know how to stop himself from falling thankfully 😅
