yeah it was looking like a complete rout - to grab two games after the first three games shows he has game. WCQ is just another league above the others at the moment - beating FZD and ML consistently to earn that top spot so nothing for Patrick to be ashamed of even had he lost 4-0 today.

@@andreaspapandreas9316 actually you should ask why he couldn't be that good much earlier, I think he is similar situation like Liang Jingkun who just won the wtt champions Incheon champion and unable to participate in Olympic game because of his unstable performance. Patrick Franziska can beat top players but he also lost to those who are lower ranking as well, for example Chinese Taipei team KAO Cheng-Jui, wr#29, has beaten him three times in a row and never loses to Franz. The other players like Harimoto, Lin Yun Ju, Felix Lebrun, Hugo, Simon gauzy, they all have good records to Franz. I think German team know him so well that they made a right decision. people sometimes would performance better without pressure, and you can see, in Saudi smash final, he felt nervous because he was not ready to be a winner.

One thing I can see that Wang does pretty good is he draws long ball from the opponent as soon as 2nd or 3rd hit then he can start to attack. His talent and hard work with right tactic pays off well. Well done the champion!
he gives very little space for the opponent to feel safe. Ma Long also has been surprised many times by Wang's ability to open the table.

With the immense knowledge of table tennis, Chinese coaches and players definitely have a deserved advantage. They analyse the weaknesses, styles and tactics of their opponents then focus on them for positive results. After all, PF has been playing at his peak, beating many top players until the final, absolutely no question. This event is probably one of his best performances. However, WCQ, on higher level, looks like invincible at the moment. Love to see him play against LSD again in the near future. That SF match is tremendously nerve racking, not to be missed. LSD could be another FZD very soon. Congrats to all of them, truly professional and respectable.

Not many pros are that dominant in a sport as WCQ is right now. Big congrats. Also Franziska was incredible in this tournament, and to take 2 games off WCQ is nothing small.

Das Spiel ohne Hoffnung auf einen Sieg, und trotzdem bewies Patrick "Wayne" Franziska enormen Mut und Stärke (Seelenstärke, wenn Sie so wollen). 1 Game plan was to send ball to Feanzeska crossover point. 2nd was to place ball to opposite corners one after the other. This is how to beat Frazeska. Easier said then done. Fan Zhendong could not do it. Chuqin is best in the world now.

I remember back in the old days of youtube when I would watch highlights from the tournaments. Great angles and great points. With this shit angle that you insist in using, wtt, you killed all of the great videos that people compilate for you and promote the sport for you. Congratulations keep it up I dont even watch it anymore by the way. And I'm sure many people feel the same way
Get over it. Tens of thousands of people are totally fine with the editing and angles. I personally also find it much more engaging and interesting.
@@explorer3519 even the longest rallies look like horse shit now. Watch some ma lin vs wang liqin or wang hao vs ma long from the early 2000's and 2010's and see the difference. But I respect your taste and opinion. I'm just frustrated that's all.

So disappointed that Jang Woojin wasnt able to make it to this final... He managed to beat Wang in the last encounter, there was a serious chance that he could win here too 😢. So unfortunate for korea but fransica read him like a book in the last few points and remained calm and controlled in the final moments, he certainly earned the win, as grueling as it is to admit. I just wanted to see Jang match against Wang, we all knew Fransica wasnt going to beat him.

Adam is the best commentator in those wtt series. It is actually ridiculous to use your own judgement to judge whether it is necessary for others to wear mask or not. It is quite understandable if they don’t want their face to be captured by the camera. Even players like wang yidi was very shy when caught by the camera.
Why? This is in Saudi Arabia, respect local culture. Of course, you can say it is unnecessary.

Nothing exciting, just a typical match. I'm getting bored with how tt is played in world level nowadays, similar play style about speed, spin and power. Watching a match of different play style is much more entertaining.
