Ikr, it was such a majestic rare sight
It was for the camera 😂😂😂
lol
16 years old? Damn im 20 years late
I didn't expect to get insulted immediately lol
Lol me too
28 years late. I talked to the guys at the tire shop since they mentioned wheels in the first place (I wasn't thinking about that). Everything fit the 1st time, no issues, no BS, no destroying the car to make wheels fit.
what if your 34 but have the mindset of a 16 year old?...
And I'm 1 year early lol
“When you buy your first wheels you won’t be experienced with the history of the brands.” Ummmm actually I watched all the Fitment Inc history videos so... I’m basically a pro.
That's what we're here for!
U guys always fill up that empty spot in the car community on the internet and thats setting up wheels, rims, tires etc, thanks for the help!
If you're modding your car for Instagram then you're doing it wrong.
Alex Cheetah finally, someone on KZhead who properly uses “you’re” lmao
Yeaaahh that car he showed when talking about stance nation was hideous. I like how it's a video essentially about how tires are what matter most when doing this process, but also shows lots of vehicles with camber some of which were absolute trashy looking with the wheels bent or so far you'll blow through those tires in no time.
Love the web sight unfortunately you guys didn’t have the rims I was wanting
Ryan O'Brien I’ve been using your and you’re correctly, but no one ever said, “Finally, someone who knows how to use it!”

I bough Volk te37’s before watching this and I have a bicycle... I’ll make em fit😤💪🏿
dead lmao
te37 is legit. they even fit my toilet.
I always say, buy wheels and make the transportation fit them hahaha
They look good on everything I got them on my lawnmower .... it's a subi
Haha im with you i got lexani LX10 20 inches 275/45R20 et15 gotta get spacers for the front then mesure and figure out what i need to even the back
Quality rubbers r a must 😏
Ghetto Gecko are you selling me tires or condoms?
Depends on what you like riding on.

Yea i bought one from the 7 11 bathroom thats how my girl got pregnant. Buy quality rubbers please
7:07 "on Corvettes" the truth hurts. My Vette has fender tuck for days. Can't wait to get a set of wheels to get a nice flush look, nothing too extreme. I just want a clean modern look.
Sometimes that will happen! 😂 Whenever you need help with fitment or ordering a set of wheels hit us up for real!! We would love to help you get setup with something! 🔌😂

Offset is important and so it Quavo.

I'm 17 buying my first wheels, and at first I thought it was whatever but now looking into it for a week my brain is dead lmao
Me too bro, me too
@@jonathanchapman3199 same here
Yup
I bought my first set of after-market rims in 1991 for my then new 1990 Dodge Shadow. The rims were from American Racing & were about 700 bucks. One hundred dollar (which was a lot then) tires all around for just over 1200 out the door. The next year I got some Yokohama's which is the best tire brand I have ever owned. This industry has come a long, long way in the past 28 years.
I really love and appreciate what you guys are doing with these educational videos and I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you for being a part of KZhead and putting out these wonderful videos and I love them so much. Please keep it up and I can't wait for more content from you guys.
Tim, Thank you so much for the support, we truly appreciate it. Just be sure to keep letting us know what you want us to talk about and we'll keep making the videos. If you ever need help with this stuff, you know how to get ahold of us! www.fitmentindustries.com
You guys drop some serious knowledge. I was never a wheel guy and always focused on basic tuning and bolt ons. You guys have taught me a lot throughout your videos that I’m confident with making my first wheel purchase with you guys for my MK7 GTI. Really digging the Konig flow form line. Seriously, you guys rock!
Appreciate it Matt! That's what we are here for! If you have any questions shoot us an email shop@fitmentindustries.com
Thank you so much for this quality video. I'm currently educating myself to wheel knowledge so I can purchase my first set of tires. A video like this is something a noob like me needs
About to check out the Fitment Industries site. Your vids have been thoroughly informative and didn't make me feel like I was watching grass grow. Looking forward..
This helped so much! I owned a 2017 VW Golf Sportwagen with 15x6 ET 46 wheels wirh 195 65 15 tires and wanted to run a more aggressive 15x6.5 ET 43 set of wheels with the same size tires. Now Slighly stretched. I loved the look. That was nice! After seeing this video and many similar videos, I went all out with a totally aggressive 15x7 ET 40 setup with super wide low profile 205 60 15 tires. They fit without any fender rolling nor inner trim.
Best AD ive ever seen in my life, props
how you gunna leave your boys lacking wheel locks are 100% necessary alot of times thieves dont even try if it has a lock lug
Definitely
This whole time watching these past month worth of videos, I thought you guys had more subscribers. These videos are professional. Keep going
I am so glad I found this video! Thank you for that great fitment gallery because it really helps me alot!
Very informative video! Was hoping I could get some more detail on increased suspension/steering wear on more aggressive offsets. A lot of people don't really know that flush or near flush doesn't mean good fitment either. I appreciate that you recommend going more conservative for your first set but wish to elaborate on the pros and cons.
U earned a customer
🖤🖤Thanks for the support!
Very useful information you got going on here 👌🏽 definitely learned a lot and can’t wait to purchase my first set of wheels
Thanks to you guys. I got a set of F1R F21'S for my accord sedan and they look and feel great on the car. Thanks fitment crew!
i saved up for so long to get my TE-37 SL for my Evo9. never going to go with anything else. Great video!
Never go cheap on tires. NEVER.
Except for drifting...
you speak the big true true
Unless your that one guy just doing smoky burnouts in his hellcat.
Unless you just driving stop and go in city
Daniil Kaizer got a car, Previous owner went cheap on tires, I Tokyo drift if I even hit 5 mph
Thank you FI sorry I’ve been gone for a few days but I’m back and can’t wait to start grinding the videos again
Holy shit all these numbers stressing me tf out rn since im new to this car stuffiziz😂
If you ever need more help on your fitment don't hesitate to shoot the team here an email at wheels@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you more!
It’s like how some people think offset like a +25 is the same on a 6 inch wide wheel vs a 8 inch wide. You’ll need to calculate it again
Truth!
OFFSET is the same regardless of wheel width..... how much poke you get is different. Your comment is almost as terrible as this video
As you can tell, I’m saying that. Didn’t mean to tickle your ass with a comment that’s saying as much as what you’re saying.
Plus the offset number is the same because it measures from the center of the wheel either in or out. So what needs to be taken into account is your wheel width
This channel is underrated!
I’ve been emailing you guys and getting a little direction, but honestly, I think at some time In the future, you guys should do an exhaustive series about definitions and meanings and words and diction. Love you Alex!
Thank you for this break down much appreciated
Bad start, Im 22 years old but im POOR
I just got my first set of wheels and tires from you guys a couple of weeks ago. I ended up needing to get 8mil spacers and extended thread lug nuts because they hit my front calipers by like 4 millimeters lol getting it wrong the first time does suck...Trust me
Great video. Definitely helpful I’m going to go for some Konig wheels soon with Indy hawk 500 tires
Why is this so true...I will more than likely be in touch with you guys as I'm new and yes! I want to get it right first time lmao...keep up the hard word guys!!!
Also should mention that while good fitment is great for the aesthetic, it's absolutely crucial for performance. If you take a sports car for example; the manufacturer normally designs every aspect around performance, wheelbase, size, design, orientation of the engine, and even wheel size and offset! If you go get some wheel that just fits and you like the looks, you might be ruining the handling of your vehicle! So if you value keeping your car on the track but want your wheels to look good, talk to the professionals about fitment! You might even be able to improve handling!
gosh, you guys are stance scientists.

Thanks for the love! 🖤
Super helpful, thank you guys! ST is gonna be on some sick rims soon!
245/45R20 for a 4,100 lbs sporty Honda "Wagon" (AT FWD/4WD). Zero problems with crappy NYC roads. 245/45 = 110 mm side wall, I think 240/40 = 98 mm side wall is about as low profile as you'd want to go in areas with bad roads. I personally wouldn't run that low in NYC or anywhere else in the North East.
I found (IMO) decent wheels and tires on the fitment website for around $900 all together 😭 sounds to good to be true
Geee!!😍😍 Those 4 wheels by your head look amazing
Thanks for the video. Great advice
Bbs ❤️❤️fitment industries.❤️. Still not ready for wheels but I haven’t forgotten where ima get em from ✌️ my boys

Fitment Industries gotta show the support
Hi Fitment Industries. Love all of your videos! Very helpful and relaxing to unwind to. I had look at your website to look at wheels for my car but my model is not listed. I have a 2000 Nissan Primera P11 and i'm looking at buying my first set of wheels. Cheers
Hey Ethan, Thank you for the support! Glad to hear you find our videos enjoyable, I was looking and I cannot find wheels either HOWEVER! We can still look for you, Just shoot us an email at shop@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you from there!
Love you guys/gals ! Thanks so much!
I did days of research for my wheels and it payed off I got almost flush fitment with maybe a few mm poke in the front
Ben W why I said they fit perfect
they don't really poke noticeably but when you look to the side of the car you can see the wheel coming out a little bit but really only a few millimeters. normally in my country it's illegal to have your wheels poking but at the yearly vehicle inspection they didn't even notice it.
Offset can effect barring wear. Important piece of info that wasn't mentioned 😉✌️
Brody I blew my bearings lol on stock wheels with cheap spacers, don’t buy spacers lol
First set of aftermarket rims and tires i bought were BBS SR in machined alloy with matte black accents with Pirelli Corsa System Direzionales on them. 235/35R19
Another tip. Try to use paper of cardboard to figure out what could fit. It is a bit like guessing, but in our case then at least we knew what was THE maximum we could go with the OEM offset and where we could go with a different offset. From there on we searched and searched more to find THE best fitting wheels and tires. I tried this on my recent first car. And we went from a 145/x/r13(x is not displayed) ET0 (offset 0mm) to a 165/55/r15 ET35, and they look amazing! The wheels and tires were not a massive purchase. Since I am a newbie driver we decided to go with steelies and some nice sticky rubber. Thanks Fitment Inc. !!
I'm still looking for my first set of wheels for my frs since the day I bought it. All my friends runs te37, rpf, renform, and BBS wheels, it's hard to find something different and is a budget wheels that fits in my budget.
Kong Lor check out jnc they have every style and color you could ask for. Plus they have some of the cheapest prices you'll find. My rims were 400 shipped
Don’t worry about what your friends run man. Get something you like. You don’t have to buy billet just to fit in I promise. Cheaper wheels get hate, but also respect from others in the same boat that don’t want to drop all the funds on forged. I have had everything from CCW/Work/Rays/AMERICAN Force/Enkei all the way to konig, rota, str, ruff racing. All about what you wanna do. Some high quality wheels are ugly. Some lower priced wheels look sick. The FRS is a great platform to make nice. And don’t take much effort.
We have tons of videos that can help you with that Kong. Check it out here: kzhead.info/sun/m9qNeciPi1-Oin0/bejne.html&t Also, just email us and we can help you out at Wheels@fitmentindustries.com
Very useful information! and PLEASE get wheels that are the right bolt pattern for your car haha
That's definitely important. Haha
Thanks for this video. Very helpful and I've reached out for a quote.
I plugged in all the numbers from my stock wheels. BAM it fits. Looks good too.
why buy high end tires when only the sidewall is in contact with the ground
soundlesspeal most people want grip and don't run stupid amounts of camber.
Simon G =most people are boring
soundlesspeal getting the power to the ground > playing in the parking lot
Simon G why would you buy expensive tires just to waste it on skids
soundlesspeal expensive? We have different ideas of that. My tires will always run me around $1500 for a set of 4
Car guys struggle when buying rims Others struggle when buying shoes
What if u like cars and shoes?

No problem homie!
Do you ever breath , lol I cant wait to finally be able to purchase a setup from you guys . You had me at the beggining 😃
Luckily, my the wheels I bought fit my car perfectly, even the hub bore was perfect; in hindsight, it makes sense because I bought Nismo wheels for a Nissan, and those wheels were made for my car... You can find those wheels on Fitment industry's YT or simply search on YT "reacting to rare wheels sent by fan": P
Thank you for doing that! :D
You spelled the website wrong on the video 4:37 🙄
Very great timing of this video because I was just thinking about buying some wheels for the very first time
This is fantastic because it’s helping me shop with THEM
Stuck between getting cheap tires so I can burn them without worrying and buying expensive tires so I can have tire lettering
I had to set playback speed to 0.75 to keep up. Slow down dude xD

@@FitmentIndustries English/American is not my native language, and that made it a little hard to follow as I couldn't keep up whit all the info. Apart from that I love this videos

Right on bro !!!
Where do you enter in your make and model to see what fits your car?
Right here! - www.fitmentindustries.com/wheels-tires
Your website is still lacking some car brands tho...
we are working on it!
Impala are a huge market js
I'm in a 9th gen accord page and got a relatively good idea of what wheels would fit. I didn't actually have to do that much research. Then again I haven't got my wheels yet either. I only order them yesterday though

Great video Alex, question, maybe a rare one, what wheels, styles, sizes and fitment do you believe work well on a BMW 7 Series f02, preferably 22s or 21s?
Offset is more importanter than skoool 😂 haha
Luckly my stock tires are 225/40 18 PS4S, soooo....im good lmao
Your videos are great sir
Bro this is exactly what I needed
Any suggestions of wheel / rim brands for a honda civic? This is my first car aswell as my first time purchasing wheels, im not tryna spend too much money, any brands that wont break the buck?
There are TONS out there brother! What I would recommend is going on out gallery and find what other people have on there Civic's to see what you think looks best! 👍bit.ly/2Ma4oca
6:14 Okay imma stop you right there, it is pronounced "kuu-nish" or "kuunick" *depending on whether you're in north germany or south germany*
Really great advice Alex. But I cannot agree with the term, aftermarket tires. You are referring to O.E. tires, not aftermarket tires. Good work and I'll keep watching your videos until I have decided to switch wheels on the E91.

Aaaaaaanndd I still can't find unique lightweight wheels for a miata... Guess the answer isn' always miata
Solid video 👌🙌🤙
I dont know if these are good tires but I OEM rims but after market tires. Their called Fuzion touring tires, I dont know if they're good or not though or if I buy wheels for the first time they'll look good on the wheels, the compound I round out are pretty good. Soft but not to soft, they get great grip. I put the wheels on my avenger and they ran really well at higher speeds.
I’m literally 16 lmao
