When my game lags like that I just open and close the notification wall and it fixes most of the time. I don't know why but it works.. for my game at least

One of the reasons the house is so gross is because mold makes dogs throw up. Also, after you clean your mold, remember to take a shower to wash the spores off!

I think it's the opposite, he never cleaned the vomit, and I think the game counts them as puddles, so they make mold spawn faster.

This series is so chaotic and I love it 😂 when I play sims, I'm so overly controlling about it, even one dirty plate somewhere drives me mad. I immediately have to clean it up. Watching other people play in complete chaos is so much fun. Also I'm really looking forward to a renovation! One of my favourite things in a LP is seeing how the house evolves over time.

That trash can is broken off-the-grid with reduce and recycle. It doesn't give you money, but makes the trash disappear. The annoying part though is that sims cannot throw away anything in it. The best bet is to get a dumpster because even if it fills up, no one can knock it over. Just empty it once a day with one of the other sims.

30:00 The spooky lot challenge is actually a bonus! It generates ghosts of sims that recently died! So your enemy who died would be likely to just show up on your lot without having to look for her grave!! That's why I always have spooky on in my lots. It is actually a bonus ^^ No grave searching. :) See bonus! ^^

no, he can be seen outside the magic realm. dr gluon had him in a rags to riches lets play, and i had him hanging around my house for a bit while waiting for my decursify to recharge (shoulda done the potion, in hindsight). but he can only be seen at (as the name suggests) night.

That force friendship spell is great, especially since it is now harder to learn magic from the sages. You can also get an angel fish at one of the fishing spots in the Forgotten Hallow world. You can eat the pufferfish nagri at the Romance festival, and you can work on the rocketship at the Geekcon, and don't forget you need the money for all those upgrades so you can put on the worm hole generator. The dumpster would have been better too, because you can dumpster dive and get money from repairing the items that are burnt. It's stunning all right, if the mold don't get you, the looks and the smell will.

@@lizburgess4398i've gotten that response from random sims nearby when im asking to learn another potion/spell, even though i *definitely* clicked on the sage. usually asking the sage again gets me the spell/potion, but it's irritating that it happens at all. i've also gotten that response once i've hit max level and learned every spell there is to know in that category. so confusing

I love that the wheel made you add all back the challenges. It was truly perfect. Also, I find it ironic that in the first every lot challenge it took you getting rid of most of the “easy” challenges before you could get rid of the more annoying ones. But this one, you got to get rid of the “harder” ones and had to add them back so you could then get rid of the easy ones. 😂

Suggestions for renovating the house: Swap the bathroom with either the kitchen, dining area or living/family room. Change the ladder to the basement to stairs, since stackable stairs are much easier to do in TS4 than TS3. Expand the basement and put the kids bedroom there, as well as the butler’s room and maybe even add a magic room. Leave mac and cheese in the caldron when not in use, because why not.

CONSIDER: after you finish the 24 goals, you can remove a lot challenge every time you fully furnish and decorate a room with money youve earned. so all new appliances, furniture, decorations, wallpaper, floor, etc

If you open, clear and then close your notification board it gets rid of the lag! That’s what I do every time it starts going sideways, sometimes even just opening them and closing it again gets rid of it. Also every time you go into build/buy it does it and continues into live mode :( very annoying glitch for sure

That trash can is broken off-the-grid with reduce and recycle. It doesn't give you money, but makes the trash disappear. The annoying part though is that sims cannot throw away anything in it. The best bet is to get a dumpster because even if it fills up, no one can knock it over. Just empty it once a day with one of the other sims.
Since we're off grid Semaj should invest in some candelabras XD
Might need to use the candles from when the house was haunted just for light not that they give off much

30:00 The spooky lot challenge is actually a bonus! It generates ghosts of sims that recently died! So your enemy who died would be likely to just show up on your lot without having to look for her grave!! That's why I always have spooky on in my lots. It is actually a bonus ^^ No grave searching. :) See bonus! ^^
ohhhh "recently died". this explains why my first every lot challenge challenge i only had felix psyded visiting. i was playing with aging off...possibly neighborhood stories as well....i had so many ghosts dropping by in my second ELC challenge and was super confused rofl

no, he can be seen outside the magic realm. dr gluon had him in a rags to riches lets play, and i had him hanging around my house for a bit while waiting for my decursify to recharge (shoulda done the potion, in hindsight). but he can only be seen at (as the name suggests) night.
Maybe with the leftover challenges you could do what you did with the last every lot challenge and every time you upgrade the house you can take a challenge off (at least I think that’s what you did last time)
Potentially helpful: if you wear jewellery made with moonstone or place a cut moonstone gem that has been charged on the grid it has benefits for spellcasters
I think you should save the Pufferfish Nigiri for after you've had your grilled cheese in space. You know... just in case you die.
i would say all he needs to do is be super confident (psych up + brush teeth is helpful), but considering the hell that is simaj's daily life....yeah. maybe he should save it for last rofl

That force friendship spell is great, especially since it is now harder to learn magic from the sages. You can also get an angel fish at one of the fishing spots in the Forgotten Hallow world. You can eat the pufferfish nagri at the Romance festival, and you can work on the rocketship at the Geekcon, and don't forget you need the money for all those upgrades so you can put on the worm hole generator. The dumpster would have been better too, because you can dumpster dive and get money from repairing the items that are burnt. It's stunning all right, if the mold don't get you, the looks and the smell will.

@@lizburgess4398i've gotten that response from random sims nearby when im asking to learn another potion/spell, even though i *definitely* clicked on the sage. usually asking the sage again gets me the spell/potion, but it's irritating that it happens at all. i've also gotten that response once i've hit max level and learned every spell there is to know in that category. so confusing

I love that the wheel made you add all back the challenges. It was truly perfect. Also, I find it ironic that in the first every lot challenge it took you getting rid of most of the “easy” challenges before you could get rid of the more annoying ones. But this one, you got to get rid of the “harder” ones and had to add them back so you could then get rid of the easy ones. 😂

how is it broken? you just need a plate in your inventory and choose "eat grilled cheese in space" when you click on the rocketship
I've just done this challenge and I was able to do both. The grilled cheese went into the household inventory though.

Something fun to do at the end of this lp would be to go to the, what was it, the life achievement menu or something like that to see all the times that Samaj has passed out, peed his pants, been uncomfortable, stuff like that😅 I honestly think it would be kinda awesome lol

Suggestions for renovating the house: Swap the bathroom with either the kitchen, dining area or living/family room. Change the ladder to the basement to stairs, since stackable stairs are much easier to do in TS4 than TS3. Expand the basement and put the kids bedroom there, as well as the butler’s room and maybe even add a magic room. Leave mac and cheese in the caldron when not in use, because why not.

Potion of emotional stability is Good for burnouts/dazed/sad/uncomfortable/stress. It removes all moodlets.

There are crystals that prevent burnout, as well as crystals that increase your needs etc.!

CONSIDER: after you finish the 24 goals, you can remove a lot challenge every time you fully furnish and decorate a room with money youve earned. so all new appliances, furniture, decorations, wallpaper, floor, etc

I just finished playing the 24 for 24 challenge a few days ago! It was fun playing it alongside you!
If you open, clear and then close your notification board it gets rid of the lag! That’s what I do every time it starts going sideways, sometimes even just opening them and closing it again gets rid of it. Also every time you go into build/buy it does it and continues into live mode :( very annoying glitch for sure
