  • This type of stuff is challenging but at the same time really therapeutic. I love the moments after you've done something and then you sit there and marvel at it for a few minutes before continuing the work. Obviously the feeling of taking that baby on the road is really nice too :)

  • Thank you so much for this excellent video account. You convey a lot of important information (in words and images) as you tackle each aspect of the build. For example, who knew that Ford puts holes in their vans to attach decorative exterior panels?! Now I do. I also have a better idea of just how difficult it is to do this well. Your work will save me and many others a lot of grief.

  • I always use a knife when cutting that style of insulation. Cut it the same way you would drywall. Score one side and break it. Then cut the foil like you would the paper on drywall. Not only is it fast but much cleaner.

  • To be honst brother, shouldnt put building dpm ground sheet in the walls. It will contribute to the Condensation .. best to straight up use the dado insulation only as it is designed to be the vapor barrier and becomes part of the skin of the van. Just safer in the long run.

    • 40 days per 10 hours a day is 400 hours. That's not quick by any means. But the build is good. I like it.

  • Reflectix is for radiant heat, so it only works with an air gap on the shiny sides. Without the air gap it's not doing much. Solid build tho. Thanks for sharing
