  • So in conclusion backbiting is allowed when: 1. Someone has taken your right and you want to get your rights back, by telling an authority. 2. When someone's actions are harming the community 3. When someone asks you for personal advice about whether a person is good or bad 4. Maybe to ask for sincere advice from a trusted person if you dont know what to do or if you are in the wrong or the right.

    • @@sabo676 yeah im in the same situation as you. Idk really. It depends on your judgement. Are the people who are backbiting him friends with him? If yes then you should probabky tell him gently. Also are they ruining his reputation? Then maybe you should stand up to him behind his back or tell him. Also it depends on your friend, is he going to be upset by it? Ig it differs by situation

  • THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. I feel a lot of people don’t take the time to understand their niyyah ( intention ) very clearly. Because maybe they don’t understand that if you end up backbiting someone and hurting them, your good deeds can be lent to them or their sins will be given to you. This is a very important message and I’m always wondering about this as well. I will like this so it gets recommended to me from time to time. Thank you so much.

    @roxthebox4644@roxthebox46442 жыл бұрын
    • What if niyyah is not reconciliation but not to humiliate either? For example, if a woman has been going through domestic violence for a long time and she wants to escape it and get divorced, it will be natural for her to talk to her parents, close friends, a councellor or a lawyer about it... It will ultimately be humiliating for the husband if the society finds out he is an abusive person. But is the woman wrong to want to get out of a miserable situation?

      @livelife2324@livelife23242 жыл бұрын
    • @@livelife2324 Well, she’s trying to get help right? If she’s talking to her parents and others to find someone professional, to find a lawyer, to find a solution, then of course it’s okay. Niyyah is a big part of everything. If she doesn’t mean to humiliate, she’s just looking for help, then yes it’s okay. As long as she stops talking to other people about it when she’s found professionals and does something about her situation, we understand that her Niyyah was to get help and not to humiliate. Edit: also, if she tells people about her husband, not to humiliate but to warn people of the kind of man he is, that is also okay. She’s protecting others and their matters with that man. Again, niyyah is crucial.

    • The fact from 4.21sec. I am a bit confused. Here the boss of that girl was abusive kind of misbehaving with her, so she came back home and expressed her frustration what happened to her. Now definitely her husband or anyone has no power to control the anger of her boss.in this case there's basically no solution, except her husband makes her understand that people in this world will be abusive its a test from Allah, don't worry.let it go. Off Course not every time It's feasible to leave ur job or avoid contact with certain person who's being abusive and rude. Hurting you any way nor u can approach this matter to the person who is hurting u. In that case, telling these incidents to ur loved ones like ur husband here will it be considered as backbiting? A gray area.

      @sanjidaislam4064@sanjidaislam40642 жыл бұрын
    • @@sanjidaislam4064 It is most certainly a gray area. Once again, it depends on the intention. First of all, I’d like to address that if your boss is being aggressive and abusive, depending on the severity, you should be cautious. Of course it’s not always feasible to leave your job, but if it is detrimental to your mental health then you should take action. But as always, this depends on the circumstances at home and at work. Second of all, intention. If she intends to cause bad impression of her boss on other people then she should get rid of that intention and talk to Allah SWT for help. If what happened to her REALLY affected her, and she can’t seem to shake the feeling, she can’t seem to get rid of the frustration then she can vent to her husband, to avoid bottling up feelings. And the husband should listen, and make her feel better, but he should not go around telling people of this, because that is Ghiba on his behalf. If she can get rid of the feeling herself and can avoid talking to others about and cause a scene, she should. This is what I believe.

  • Recently i am going through a issue that i used to backbite some people and i didn't realised that time I'm doing so wrong to them. I even made some false stories about them to two person. That time i didn't realised that the consequences of my actions will hurt those people badly. Recently that 2 people leaked my all chats and told all things i said to whom i used to back bite. They are now very angry and wants to cutoff with me. They even shamed publicly about my sins also lied about me in points even after I apologised to them about my bad deeds and wrong doings. I even publicly apologised to them because I'm guilty about my actions and I'm really ashamed about my wrong doings. They said they forgave me but still they are making fun of me publicly which i saw and saying some things which I'm not. They are even humiliating me saying that I'm mentally sick. What should I do now? What Islam says about this. As a person I'm really guilty about my deeds and I'll work on myself to be a better and trustworthy person. I'm asking for Allah's forgiveness everyday as i feel like I'm the most horrible person in the world right now. I want to know what islam says about this and what's the solution of this.

  • Excellent video with clear understanding. Only I would like to mention, in writing (3.23 min) instead of 'False of Muawiyya and False of Abu Jahm' should it not be 'Faults of Muawiyya and Faults of Abu Jahms'? I am sorry, I just wanted that nobody misunderstands.

    • I was going to say that! There and in the sentence a few seconds later, it should say mentioning 'faults'; 'false' suggests that Prophet Muhammad (saw) was lying about those two proposers, which is clearly not the case.

  • In fact Giba or backbiting destroys the relationship with one another and make people hate one another as well so whatever a person did to you don't tell other people and don't ever try to demean that person just keep it to yourself and your God. May Allah make us understanding people.

  • Alsalam alykum ! Irony is every back bitter can justify themselves with this, whenèver I advice my fellow muslims about back bitting wallahi they say we are doing ISTISHARA. They is a very powerful tricky tool for Shayateen. Rest Allah knows best
