  • Tried something new with the editing, let me know what you think!

    • I really like the new editing style! If I had to critique it though I’d say it’s a bit flashy, you don’t need a new image for every sentence and it could be beneficial to have an anchor point to come back to, something related to the whole theme instead of the current topic. I’m no professional and It’s just my opinion, I think your editing is great! I think this channel does what I’m describing pretty well: youtube.com/@TailHeavyProductions?si=UY_KuoJ3GA0AIbN0 but honestly I just discovered your channel and I’ve only been binging your videos for three days

  • I really like the direct comparison between the bland scenery and the better version at the end. Some 'pimp my scenery' videos for different styles would be interesting to see.

  • Amazing! As a new mapper, this is EXACTLY the video I have been looking for. I've been looking at a lot of videos to find something like this, but you are the first person who have actually answered my questions. Subscribed, can't wait to see more of your content!

  • I am a new mapper, but scenery was something I got instantly very good, in general I have a lot of unique ideas in my head in real life, so maybe that's why, but yeah get a plan and if you put extra details into it it always turns out great, main thing have a plan in your head and have a theme going and putting scenery so it pops up into eye while driving, but some people really struggle with scenery, but if you are a creative person in real life, scenery should not be a problem.

  • This is just what i needed! Started not that long ago and made a small track. I do play on a console and found it hard to use it with selecting other pieces. Like for example; if you use a ramp you get 5 selections but if I want to go back to flat roads I have no clue how to do that. Beginners....lol. But it is just a track with nothing around it so you see the stadium and some other pieces I never deleted. It doesn't bother me because I just wanted to try out a few things and I think it is a decent track. But....I do like the idea to make a theme and to inclose it maybe? There are a lot of items you can download in TM as well. Lot of players are giving away items! Love this! I can also make it longer but I feel that I have to play more tracks to see what works. Learning every day. Tried to upload it to exchange but it didn't work? Maybe it is too small( less than 500kb). So I made a club called Noobs Only. You can try to get below 32 seconds which I know is possible. And I would love some feedback! Mister Frisb on xbox X

  • I noticed a few months back already, that nadeo broke something in the editor, but I had no time to investigate, but now that I looked into it, basicly my night mood map got broken... I wanted to make some finishing touches, and it's now stuck in day mood which is completely destroying the atmosphere of the map. I read, that disabling custom skids might work, but nope, and now I'm stuck... If I create a new map, the night mood works, but I have no clue on how to move all the blocks, because there is just no way I'm rebuilding all of it from scratch, I'm just gona forget about it then.... If any of you can help me with this I would appreciate.

    @CerberusHD@CerberusHD7 ай бұрын
    • You can move your map by going to the copy section, selecting your entire track, then saving as a macroblock. If your map is pretty dense with scenery already, then save it in chunks. It can be finicky, but that's really the best way to import your map into a new base with the desired mood

  • I've been making a bobsled map and I'm not sure what inspiration to take from

    @3odie1212@3odie12126 ай бұрын
    • I would start with some of your favorite bobsled maps and spend a bit of time looking at block combinations and the overall design choices. How open is the space? what parts of the map is covered? Which blocks make up the bulk of the scenery? How did the mapper pack in the detail? etc.
