    • when they signaled 10 seconds left in the 2nd round Mike landed a body shot to the liver. go back and you can hear it pop. You can then see Roy limp to the corner with his right arm down. He was just in survival mode after that . All it takes is another shot there and it will cripple you. Tyson allowed him to stay on his feet as a good sportsman

    @Furryfattal@Furryfattal9 ай бұрын
  • This was an exhibition fight with a predetermined outcome (Draw), and both fighters (especially Tyson) were holding back with their punches, especially their head punches, and were told not to be too offensive and go for the kill. So what we got was basically a sparring match. And I was cool with it. You'd think a sparring match would've favored Roy, because we're taking Tyson's power advantage and aggression away. The two were pure boxing. So it impressed the hell out of me that Tyson outboxed Roy all night long. Tyson dominated the match with better boxing skills. That's the part of Tyson's game that was underrated. People think of Tyson as a slugger, but he was a fantastic boxer. He has great head movement, rolls with punches beautifully, uses angles perfectly, has great footwork. Even more impressive is the fact that Tyson literally hadn't boxed, or even trained, in like 15 years coming into the fight. Roy has been very active in the boxing gyms, and had still been boxing pro not that long before - and has since fought again, in a sanctioned fight. It's incredible how great of an athlete Tyson still is. His reflexes are there, he can still crouch low to avoid punches, and then spring back up. He still has his legs - unlike Evander Holyfield. Tyson is one of the freakiest athletes to ever live. The amazing part is so is Roy Jones, it's just that Tyson is an absolute freak of nature

    • to be honest I'm quite disappointed aswell. I wanted to watch this as a preview to the jake paul fight, and now i'm sure all we see is marketing and acting. Tyson is too old for this. he can't last 3 rounds with a young guy. he was the best, and they should've let him be the best. the jake paul will be an exhibition just like this. quite embarrasing to look at tbh.

      @guiseppe36749@guiseppe36749Ай бұрын
  • Tyson obviously won that fight. Calling that a draw was disrespectful. Tyson humbly accepted it like a true champion. If this weren’t an exhibition, I’d of lost my mind with the decision though.
