Ok mate i have to leave a comment here, i drift IRL casually in BMW 330i, i drift in assetto corsa using full wheel setup with handbrake, shifter, etc. and now trying this game for fun, all the setups ive tried or have seen are way too arcade and unrealistic, i came across this video, when you were saying this is realistic i wanted to close this vid as this game is as arcade as it can get....Well i couldnt be more wrong and have to apologize for my prejudice, this setup is the best and closest to assetto corsa simracing i have seen, it actually feels great on wheel and very close to realism, if we exlclude the weight of the car, clutch kick transition and exponential grip loss with throttle control which you experience in real car. THIS is the best setup on youtube for wheel users. to everyone using a wheel, this is the best u can get in this game, this guy deserves a medal! Thank you!
Your a very honourable man! Admitting when you were wrong :) to me bro.. I know it is "arcade" but I do have a professional drift car and bro this game replicates my r32 close to real life. As long as your on wheel 900° with no assists
I drift a little irl too & I just bought my first wheel. All setting I’ve tried have felt terrible and I can’t even give the car gas without spinning out. Gonna try this tomorrow hopefully I have some luck.
@@buzzlightyear2851 these were the best settings for carx on wheel back when i wrote the comment ,if you want to get even closer to reality then of course you need to play assetto corsa and use VR, but yeah, given the game limitations, i think you would be happy with these

Yo dude, this video is THE best thing. I played 2 hours before this, trying all kinds of "turorials" or beginners tips, but this actually made sense and within minutes made me see a difference. I didnt have the Track unlocked that you used, but on the first unlocked one, theres quite a bit of space outside too. You can easily get out in the last section of the lap (when you enter the parking garage theres an open spot on the right with just a couple traffic cones). The whole "letting your wheel go" made such a huuuuuuge difference for me in comparison to others beginners tutorials starting at "initiate drift using clutch kicks! - look its that easy!1!" Really appreciate this and cant wait for part 2, ngl. ;)

To the ppl spinning out I have the same issue on carx but not as much on assetto. I feel like ppl should be practicing on assetto to get a feel for drifting on wheel. Carx has physics that make you want to just be sliding everywhere all the time. It's a bit difficult to learn how to drift on carx if you don't have some sort of knowledge of drifting physics for real.
I was so ready to give up trying but omg thankyou so much for this tune!!! It makes it so much easier for me to get the basics down while still presenting a challenge

Learned how to drift bc of this video 2023 trust me once you learn how to drift in this game all the stress and getting triggered bc of your car spinning out goes away, this game becomes really addicting once you get the hang of it, def subbing to this guy
Hi, I got a g920 wheel a few days ago . The tune set ups I found had little to no ackerman angle and far to much camber to be realistic. Also the cars looked silly. I have driven race cars on dirt track and had an Auto repair bussiness. This is hands down the most realistic set up I have found. Thanks for making the experience feel so much more real. Cheers

Tried it out for the last hour or two and i have to say it feels absolutely amazing! The tune setup is such a treat and feels really realistic as far i can tell🔥 Reminds me a bit of the Forza physics so that’s a pretty good sign i think! Thanks mate💙

Confusing how i can drift irl but not in a game with a steering wheel. I honestly do not understand.
My g920 is just clipping like mad. Sounds and feels like a rock tumbler. Yours looks smooth as.

Has a lot to do with tune. My wheel ended up off centring heaps so pulled it apart to clean the hall sensor again. Helped a lot.
Mine is clipping a lot too and for some reason my wheel just spins out of control everything like I’ll hold a drift for a couple seconds then it just white the opposite bc the ffb is pulling it even if I hold the wheel to stop the ffb from whipping my car still whips the other. I don’t know if you have to calibrate it on pc even though I’m on ps5 or if my calibration is trash or something bc my wheel just keeps taking the car the opposite way
@@Smitaye- I found initially learning to slide pretty damn hard, its way less forgiving pedal work wise than forza etc, but it’s the tune that makes all the difference
Damn man you really helped me out, I’ve had my g920 for a little bit now and I could barley drift, spinning out, crashing all the time. Now I can link corners just after using these settings and your advice, really appreciate it you earned a sub ❤️❤️❤️

stay on low rpm n learn to handle the throttle control. when u need to give it more n when less. that u all good n decrease the Ackerman level to least so u dont spin

On g29 you need caster down to 0 and steering angle at 54 degrees and ackerman angle at 100%, dampers in the front need to be at the lowest setting to get it extra smooth on g29 as it vibrates alot without it

So front damper fast bump, fast rebound, bump and rebound need to 500 aka the lowest

@@ehmul1510 u don’t need to have dampers at lowest u just need to have 0 caster, 100% Ackerman and steering angle to 54 and it will work

im trying everything everyday and they’re good tips and it helps but everytime i try to start a drift i just spin out and i dont have a lot of throttle either i can barely do anything and it honestly sucks and it pisses me off cuz i keep failing over and over and im making no progress at all

So im having a thrustmaster t150, because most reviews said it was better then a logitech , but its immpossible for me to drift in assetto corsa ,is a logitech better or is it my zero drift skill? Is it because of the t150 poor counter steer? Any help would be appreciated

Bro….I have been trying to learn wheel drifting since I got one a month or so ago. I am having the worst time. I’m trying to learn in the JZX100 but it feels impossible to weight transfer without going into an insane tail spin. Very aggravating.

LOL.. Yeah true, it would also be helpful though if carx didnt change the game physics after every update making old videos and tunes not work aswell, thats what happened here.. They changed physics before I made the 2nd video, so i had to delete the whole thing lol.. New video series learning wheel on carx coming in a few days 💚🐺

i have a problem with my shifter. I currently use a thrustmaster Th8A but neither the shifter or the clutch work. I unplugged it and tried everything but it just wont respond. Can u help plssss

This tune requires no counter steer? My wheels are literally counter-steering for me (This may be because of an update because I don't have an option to turn off steering wheel assist) but with other tunes I've found it requires myself to counter-steer

Man I can’t even get a drift started for the life of me in this game. No matter how little I turn or accelerate I always spin out. I came to this video thinking it would help but with the new settings I just don’t know if I suck or it’s my settings

Another tip is get a car put ultimate mod on it the put the caster at 15.0 Ackerman at 0% and do the max steering angle and then 90 adhesion

I just cant get it to work. Im using the same steering wheel as you are and i have LOTS of deadzone. I cant find the setting to turn deadzone of either. I just keep spinning out even though i have the same tunes and everything. Im confused 😂
im on wheel and this 240 oversteers easier than anything ive driven on the game yet. a slight elevation change sends the car spinning every single time. they mustve really effed with the physics over the past two years

the logitech g920 only has a 900 degree steering angle, you should keep it at your wheels max angle

I think I'm switching to logitech wheels. My theustmaster tmx pro is great for racing but I do more drifting and it sucks bc I have to push the wheel instead of the wheel gliding through my hands. It spins by itself but not fast enough and I have to push it. The video definitely helped me learn how to keep a steady line and smooth drifts tho. Keep up the great video
Logitech is even worse you need to turn the wheel cuz the ffb is not that good

I can't get this wheel to not do 360s. Even with 0% Ackerman which I hate having on but I do for the afk towards the Platinum. I've tried all steering angles. Maybe I need to adjust my settings in the suspension and tires. But so far I'm hating this G29.
