Implementing a new project built with stone, it is a solid wall protecting my farm. Aim to prevent aggressive and harmful animals from entering my farm. So I decided to build this wall. This will be a high, solid and safe wall. It will help protect my farm and animals from dangers lurking from outside. Built with stones to help make the wall more solid. It will take quite a while to build, but I will try to complete it as soon as possible. Everyone, please follow along... Thank you very much

  • I don’t know if anyone who has never done manual labor can comprehend the amount of work that went into this. Most people wouldn’t even attempt this the way he’s doing it. Great job buddy.

  • I think may favourite thing about this channel is that it has a vision, it’s not only “primitive survival” It’s much closer to “starting a farm and livelihood with nothing, and having to rely on my survival skills extensively until I can start my farm.” It feels so much closer to what our ancestors would have done. Farming was their top priority after survival, because it was one of the few activities that ensured that you will survive in the long term. Keep up the good work, I always appreciate watching your videos!

  • Hi from New York Duong! Fun fact: my town, Eastport, used to be world renowned for duck farming and the duck was our school mascot for decades! Growing up we still boasted 2 working farms! Today was rainy and cold, I worked, I'm a unit clerk in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. You always inspire me to get outside more, build stuff, and keep learning valuable skills! I'd love to see a donkey friend, he can take a load off your back as well as protect your other animals.

  • This would require hundreds, maybe thousands of trips to the river, just to find and transport rock back to the construction site. Plus you need to create your cement from scratch AND then dig your foundations, mix the cement and build the wall - at the same time, maintaining your farm and caring for your livestock. Just building the wall must take hundreds of work hours. I know you did the work and it’s not fake, I just don’t know how you physically managed all the required tasks! Your channel is awesome, big thumbs up!👍🏼

  • This is a good idea. Fencing can be done simply and effectively as a means to outline your land. Fences themselves know no end to how they can be conceptualized and built. I believe that having a stone fence perimeter around your farm will be beneficial. Things to consider: Design your fence to include a small, sloped roof along the entire length, allowing you to utilize the gables for vertical space in which you could grow small crops/herbs from hanging pots. Cinder/Concrete blocks - consider making a mold in order to make cinder/concrete blocks which will provide you with both the strength and stability for larger walls.

Dug a trench, Hauled tons of stones, mixed up all that morter, then set it all in place … at least 4-ft tall... that's at least a weeks worth of work for one man... but then again you have amazed me before... lining that pond for example... amazing... could you give us more statistics on your projects? number of days, number of batches of morter... and how do you create so much lime??? your furnace must be running around the clock to make so much lime...

  • Most of these channels you can clearly see heavy equipment marks in the soil, and catch boot prints, etc. I have been *looking* for that stuff since he built the huge pond, and they either do a really good job of hiding it, or they don't use any heavy equipment. I don't believe Doung is doing this entirely by himself, as it would take days just to haul all the rock he used from the river. Plus, the river along his property would be devoid of rocks after the house build. I'm sure he's buying rocks. I'm sure he's buying sand and lye. And I'm relatively sure he's getting those things delivered. I'm sure he's got help digging and laying rock. But I also believe he's doing at least some of the work himself, and after years of looking for heavy equipment marks (backhoe teeth marks in soil, tire tracks, tread tracks, etc) I do believe the work is being done by hand. I look at it like a timelapse. Duong COULD do all this by hand by himself with locally sourced materials, but it would take a month of burning calcite rocks just to create the lye needed for the morter used in this single episode. He COULD gather all the rocks from the river, but it would take days. He gets help so he can turn out content faster. And I'm pretty much okay with that, I enjoy the content on this channel.

    • Yeah, who cares. It's not extremely blatant like the other obvious frauds. It's a show for entertainment, not a real life documentary. Who cares.

    • I really don't mind him using modern tools and outside help after he shows how the work is done in a primitive way.
