thank you for sharing some more info about there new deals and general info been looking for alternatives to Macfee and the has certainly helped narrow it down how demanding is eset especially with all of or a large amount of the included extras enabled

Man I need help my son phone got hacked, now my phone, now my laptop, suffering denied access to end processes, delete auto run entries, uninstall programs, install update download or even uninstall any av, so I went to elevated cmd prompt to check things and it had me listed as being on a different computer....could use some help no internet tho.

I just switched over to eset premium but I noticed when I go into safe mode to run antivirus just to make sure windows 11 clean the internet is set to airplane mode any idea how I would fix that?? I have a direct connection to my modem no wifi so trying to figure it out. Love your channel dude good job

- Boot into Safe Mode with Networking. If it still doesn't work, then your driver for your NIC card isn't loaded while in safe mode. Thanks for your comment!

How would you compare ESET Home Security Premium to Kaspersky Total Security? Kaspersky has kept my systems clean for decades. - along with Malware Bytes. I've been passionate about these two, systems saving programs, and your opinion on ESET replacing them would be greatly appreciated.

- Honestly, Kaspersky is pretty good. I used them for years as well. I do find that ESET is better when you have a lot of connected devices. Once you get to 10 devices, ESET Ultimate is actually my recommendation. Under 7-8 devices my recommendation is ESET Premium. I am doing a video comparison soon. I like Kaspersky, but they just dumb down the settings and it gets clunky for me. ESET lets me control everything and also has machine learning to get better and faster over time. For you, my recommendation right now is that if you currently have Kaspersky stick with it, but if you are looking for more on your NEXT cybersecurity solution after Kaspersky's license expires, give ESET a try. It is a more advanced and stronger approach in my opinion.

- Thanks very much for your comments - I'll give ESET a try after the current license expires - their pricing also appears to be very competitive for multiple devices over multiple years. Perhaps the fact that Kaspersky is headquartered in Russia, as you mentioned in another response, may also be a consideration to try ESET. Thanks again for taking the time to respond. By the way, your channel is very informative!!! I will certainly recommend it to my friends and associates.@@NicoKnowsTech

Hey Nico, I have worm called virustrigger2.1.lnk residing in quick launch and I can't get rid of it!! I tried everything from .lnk removal from command prompt to a clean install and it keeps coming back. It launches surfside kick and other malware and it runs my computer hot! Any suggestions would be great!!

- It's a big upgrade. ESET won't alert on things that aren't viruses... I had AVAST and it alerted on games I downloaded.

- No, but you can do that with a pihole or a firewall at the router level. I am releasing a video soon on making one of these super easy and cheap.

Nico i need your help desperately but i can't put into words very well how my hackers are using Google firebase and google cloud console and an administrator roll to block my business calls , keep my devices and pc's from updating and hacked my 2018 f150 computer , nothing works correctly i can't take this please help

- Kaspersky is close in detection rates. Not gonna lie. I am with ESET because it has more advanced features for people with lots of connected devices. It is also hard to recommend Kaspersky due to it's headquarters being in Russia.

- I am using Aura to keep my personal info off the internet so no one can Dox me. I have many devices and I use ESET for most of my antivirus needs. If you already have Aura and it's antivirus then you should be fine. ESET is an upgrade for pure cybersecurity/antivirus.

- @@user-gd4mw9px7j did you scan with ESET? By process of elimination I would say one of three possibilities: 1.) UEFI rootkit: ESET will detect it. 2.) It's in your head. 3.) You don't have a rootkit.

Nico Sir I am having ESET Internet Security Licence. Now it becomes essential. Is it bad or I should upgrade to Premium or Ultimate? Please suggest. I already use Dashlane Premium (Family). What about Liveguard in ESET Premium vs not having Liveguard in ESET Essential? Please enlighten me Sir 😊

- You are fine with Internet Security/Essential. Premium will add LiveGuard, Password Locker, Secure Data so the only thing I see for you on Premium would be LiveGuard. If you download a lot of programs from websites that are not well known (Microsoft, Steam, Adobe etc) then LiveGuard would make sense for you. Otherwise, staying with Essential is fine.

- In my opinion yes. Malwarebytes is a resource hog and has high false positives.
