Thanks for this. As a person born disabled with multiple conditions, I had kids I went to school with tell me "why don't you just put yourself out of your misery". Like my life means nothing cuz I need a wheelchair. My family and friends support me and helped me build a relatively happy life. You did that for this sweet soul.

Ive had people say the same thing to me because of mental illness; depression, anxiety disorder, ADD and a couple others. Im glad we didnt listen to them. They were wrong. Im 44 now, I've earned both a bachelors and masters degree, got married and have three wonderful rescue dogs, a few good friends and good family on both sides . It turned out good despite those who treated me as a burden and considered me a waste of time. Don't listen to heartless, ignorant people. They're the ones who are wasting time and space, and they're utter disregard for life if it doesn't fit their ideal standards is a disgusting sin. They'll have to deal with their inhumanity when their time comes. It'll be a long road out of purgatory for them. You made the right choice in believing in yourself and I'm proud of you. Remember to appreciate those who supported you and be kind to yourself and others, animals included 😊

I have a special rescue in my brood of 6. She is wonderful and I need her a much as she needs me. We all do the best we can.
My daughter too doesn,t like just to put them to sleep just like that! They needed chances to live & let god take their lives if he wanted. We,re just stewards of his creation, right.

Bad news everyone, lovely little picklin passed today (its on his owners instagram account). I am not gonna lie, hearing the news made me very emotional. He was such a special boy and I am glad he had a loving mom to give him a happy life, even if it was short.

I lost my best friend Swifty the cat a few months ago. He was the greatest friend a guy could have. This reminds me of how special these animals are and how we must protect all of them at all costs. Picklin was a special friend and am so happy he found his mom, even for a little while. As for Swifty, I know I'll see him again, and Picklin will be there for you too.
So sorry for the loss of your soul kitty. It was lovely that you had that bond as I did with my 20yr old who passed a few months ago. Those little furbabies are so full of love it truly is a gift. It never dies. Your best friend is still your best friend and don't worry, he is right there with you everytime you think of him..

So this was really weird timing to click on my notifications to see this message. Thank you so much for your kind words and my deepest sympathy for the loss of your friend. I like to think they're both thinking about us, and in Swifty's case bothering someone up there for a can of fancy feast.
So sorry for your loss too. So many of them are crossing the rainbow bridge right now. We must honour them when they're with us as they're not here for very long. I lost my soul kitty a few months ago also, she was my best friend. So much love was packed into that little body and she knew how to show it!

I felt it the second we visited the pet shelter. It was a moment of absolute knowing, when I first picked him up. Clarity of knowledge, I've not felt before. Everyone around us knew we had something special, and my parents often teased me that he was my son and my best friend. I dream about him still, which is awfully bittersweet... It's funny because a few days after his death, a psychic told me not to worry. For animals, death is a matter of fact. It's us that are the ones who suffer...hopefully we will have many years left before we get to see our friends again. When we do it will be a reunion for the ages. God bless our furry friends, those here and gone.
@@Psilocybin77 Im not a physic, but I do have a gift. All animals go to Heaven, there is no hell for them. Because they are kind souls, that God, put in this earth. All our animals wait for us with our family. All other animals such as the wild one's, do not eat each other, up there. They don't need to, they don't need to fight for survival. They are all together. But does that had human family, they wait for them, to go back with their humans. That's why is called Heaven. And also after they pass on, they will still visit their humans, for a while. I had one cat for 17 years, she just die of old age. She told me it was time, for her to go. I had to put her to sleep, she wanted to eat, but it all came out, both ways. Every half hour, she wanted to eat, & everything came out again. I couldn't kept up with it. I knew it was time. She was suffering. I had lost my dad 🎄 of 2009. Then my boyfriend broke up, with me 2011. And she was in 2012. It was very hard. But when i. was coming out, of the Vetenerian. I was crying cause, I held her, as she got her shot, & I felt her heart stopped. There was a leaf, on the ground with the perfect shaped of a heart. She was.telling me, she was OK, now. She kept visiting me, & I would see her, from the corner of my eye. Or i would feel her jump, in my bed, & hear her purr. She still does but not as much.
I saw this on another video, but they said something along the lines of: an animal might only be in your life for a short time, but to that animal you are their whole life. This is so precious!! Thank you for giving Picklin a change, he is the sweetist cat!!
My dad rescued a fully feral 7 week old kitten in 1989, as she was being kicked and chased by some "colleagues" at work. Mom and him raised her like a baby. She got treatment for kitten flu, got her shots, and lived in the lap of luxury. Even so, it took a good while for her to warm to them and learn to trust. I was born in '92. She lived until I was around 17. Kudos to this lady. I'm glad Picklin has her - it seems like they were supposed to find each other.

@@denisemezynski8014 thank you. She was a very special cat. Towards the end, when it was almost time for her to be put to sleep, she would seek you out to cuddle, which she never usually did. Possibly something to do with being feral. I like to think it was her saying goodbye.

I don't know what got to me more... a).hearing the sadness in this young, beautiful woman's voice when she said that Picklin seems to know when she's on an emotional low and always comes to her side. b). Knowing how easily most people would turn a pup away because of their medical issues or c). Just Picklin and his cute self yet knowing he might not be around for long.

I'm so happy he got to have a mom like you. Even though his life was short, you made sure it was great, and he gave you happiness and love in return. This was the best he could've had.
It takes a lot of courage and perseverance to care for a disabled animal. I'm glad he was lucky enough to be found by someone who didn't want to give up on him. She gave him the best life he could have
Picklin is absolutely adorable. However much time you have with him is going to be worthwhile and will stay with you always.
Picklin has to be one of the sweetest and cutest cats I've ever seen. It's so sad that he's on limited time here on the earth plane but he doesn't know that and looks really happy in his home. Picklin was the sweetest boy. I was sorry to read of his passing. This woman was so.kind and open hearted, I hope she knows that this helps other humans as well. Compassion and caring goes out into the world and heals others too.

Picklin is absolutely precious. You can literally see the joy, love, peace, and sense that he is exactly where he belongs on his face. We try to rescue them, but every time without fail. It's them who rescues us.

I just read that Picklin passed away in May 2022 , having blessed this sweet girl's life for 9 months 😣💕....breaks my heart yet is SO beautiful that he knew so much love in his short time on earth. You KNOW he's playing care free with no pain at the other end of the Rainbow Bridge.
Oh my Gosh!!! I had a rough sh**** day today at work, plus a huge headache so I made lots of mistakes and I felt miserable. But then this one came! It made me tear up, but with a huge grin as well. This kitti is a true survival, and so sooooo sweet. Thanks to this woman he can fulfill his fate and this bond makes his life richer and fuller. I hope they will have lots of years together.

Picklin is so adorable 🧡 My cat was a great source of comfort to me after losing my beloved Dad, being bed bound for 10 months with a disability there is no cure for. My life was shattered when she passed just days before her 15th birthday. Only a cat person can understand how much they can heal your soul. She was my nurse during the 10 months I was bedridden; she only left my side to eat and use the litter box.

Aww, this precious little one is adorable. My eyes teared up when I heard he knew when she was struggling and he went to her and comforted her. That was how my kitty Becky was. She was my Kitty growing up. She was there for me in my teenage sadness. She was extra special. Bless you both. 💞
My experience with my neighbor who had a cat with the same condition as yours, water on the brain, she did so much to ensure that he was cared for and every day at the same time my neighbor made sure he got his medication. He lived a long life for his condition. My wife and I were every time recognized by him and he always came to our house to see us. My neighbor unfortunately lost him due to cancerous lumps showing up on his body. I cannot count how many times my neighbor ensured that his health was taken care of and eventually his condition deteriorated that she had to let him go. I always tell my neighbor her dog and cats are her children. This neighbor has taught me so much about the care and love for animals. I know this one though physically challenged has brought so much joy and comfort into your life that should the day come he will leave a hole in your heart but rest assured this cat has done his best to fulfill the life he has been given and your contribution will remain forever in your heart.

One my favorite cats was named Wilma who was definitely developmentally disabled. She lived to be 13 years old and had a very loving disposition. She couldn’t go outside and was watched a lot to make sure she didn’t get hurt. She was an amazing cat. She was black and white and we had a female Dalmatian who would groom her and carry her around like a puppy. The other cats in the house were very tolerant and good with Wilma. Wilma played a lot like a forever kitten. Wilma did strange things like imitating the humans and the other animals around her because she didn’t know she wasn’t supposed to.
That sounds so adorable 🥰 .That dalmatian was the mother figure. Maybe the animals knew or something?

In "human form", he could have DOWN'S SYNDROME & he also looks like he has LYKOI (WEREWOLF SYNDROME); but it makes him very cute, nonetheless! He is a special kitty! 🆘And he is teaching your children that being different is amazing to see & love & care about all living beings! 🎀🌹💐
Calling someone "different" makes an assumption that some bodies are status quo and all others are different in comparison. Physically there is no perfect model of a perfect human body.

Aww so sweet, he may be trisomic, the face, the small frame, a bit slower, shorter life span, which doesn’t change the fact he is adorable and loving. Both lucky.
