Stuck in the ditch and buried by a blizzard!

Big thanks to elitefleetautomotive.net/ for helping this customer out, and thanks to the customer for donating to @hsus in return!
This truck was loaned out to a friend who slid off the road on black ice right before a big storm hit, and since it was too dangerous to attempt the recovery in the ice conditions right away, it had to sit for a few days and was buried by the blizzard that came the next morning.
Once the weather cleared, I went up to recover the truck. I considered taking my smaller 4x4 wrecker, but with how deep the truck was, and the harder plowed snow bank on the side of the road that it needed to be pulled through, I decided to just take the @zackliftinternational4841 up to speed up the job and be able to recover the vehicle with a side pull and not have to turn my truck sideways across both lanes.
Be sure to check out our Patreon project where we use whatever it brings in in a month as our budget to help someone the following month! I was never a fan of the Patreon idea until I realized that I can use it to help others instead of myself, so I created the Patreon Project where we can all combine our efforts to make a real difference in people's lives and make the world a better place! For as little as a dollar a month you can join the group of awesome people already on board and be vote to help steer the ship along the way!

  • Stay classy little white Chevy truck that was loaned to a friend, and then driven into the bottom of a ditch filled with 4ft of snow. Wrecker Casey did a great job. Ethan Did a great job. Didn't even put a scratch on that bad Lorry.

  • Your comment about the white car in the snow is one of the things that drives me bonkers. I've got LED driving lights on the front of every one of my rigs that are on any time the ignition is on, so basically DRL's. People just don't seem to get it - lights on in the snow/inclement weather aren't for you to see better, it's for others to see YOU. Huge shout out to Nate and the crew at Elite Fleet Automotive (we need another video with them - having withdrawal's), and even more so to the customer for not only donating, but being so calm about the whole ordeal with his vehicle.

    • I learned about needing those when I visited Washington state years ago. Somebody came to a farm I was visiting and said a truck loaded with firewood went down into a ravine in a mountain pass. They said if we came and unloaded the wood the farm folks could have it. That snow was at least waist high. We had to stay on the road and pass the wood along because us visitors had no snowshoes. You could NOT walk without sinking to your chest without snow shoes.

  • Thank you for the great recovery and thank you to Nate and the guys at Elite Fleet for the sponsorship. I wish that I could find both a recovery service and a repair service in my area with the friendly and competent people such as you.

  • This was just plain and simple outstanding all the way around. The recovery was most excellent, everyone on the team of Casey and Ethan did their normal awesome work. And Elite Fleet stepped up big time as did the customer to pay it forward. Thanx for sharing as always. Peace Out.

  • I think any other tow company would have said no and left that truck until the snow melts
