Just got back from 3.5 days in Prague. This video is for those who choose to explore on their own. We wanted a guided tour and got the best. Went on three separate 100 Spires walking tours and all were well worth it. Did the introduction to Prague/Old Town with David, excellent. Did Prague Castle with Kuba. Not as good -- the guide was, but it was a Saturday afternoon, hot and crowded. Still, St. Vitus alone was worth it. Also did WWII and Communism tour with Nico. A highly informative tour. Not exactly fun, those aren't fun topics, but extremely informative, local, and important. Highly worth it. We stayed in Lesser Town and enjoyed just walking around it and Old Town. It's hard *not* to enjoy Prague.

If you have plans of visiting Europe. Prague is a DEFINITE! must see. Prague will NOT! disappoint. She is absolutely beautiful. I strongly suggest you visit Karlštejn Castle. It is about 1 and a half hours out of the city. Best to do it as a tour.

I LOVE your channel, you seem like such a cool person and do a great job showing the real Prague. I have been to Prague twice now and am bringing a group of 20-30 hockey players back in April. We are staying on Wenclesas Square - I'd love to see a video on the history of that area. Or I'd love to see a history of hockey in the area, since our guests will all be hockey players. Just completed most day 2 of this today, we did St Nicholas Church instead of the Gardens and it was amazing. Finishes at the Lennon Wall which is very close to Charles Bridge - Thank you so much it made the Holiday 🙏👏🙏
Hello Valery, thanks for all the guides and tips. My wife and I are just concluding a phenomenal 4 days time in Praga. By far the greatest tip of all is the early visits to Charles bride and old town. The weather thank God was also nice. Probably the most economical, friendly and lovely city we visited. I can see why the ton of visitors. Much appreciated your videos.

@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 , I really enjoyed it. I had a hotel located in a great location which helped me explore city center as much as I wanted. I was able to take a pub crawl/history tour through TripAdvisor, it was one of the highlights of the trip. The city has a lot of charm, I'm glad I stopped by.
I love this channel and all of the suggestions and tours with 100 spires. I have taken friends on these for the last two years and have some others coming later again this summer and have suggested this you tube site and all of the tours. I hope you can add a Vyshrad Fortress soon! (The self guided video is lovely but I like the tours).

WOW!!!! That was fantastic! The only thing I would add is that if you can find a good tour company, it is usually worth it to spend a few hours on a guided tour when you come to a new city. The problem is finding a good one in some cities. Fortunately in Prague there is 100 Spires City Tours!!!! For long time viewers, many of the sites in this video brought back memories from past great RPG videos. Keep up the good work!!! I is also fun to see Vaclave cameos in your videos.

Did the castle day yesterday. The Petrin Funicular Railway was closed for maintenance. So the hill climb that was a joke in this video... became a reality. It added about 30 - 45 minute hike onto the day. just fyi

Hello Valerie, Love your videos! We will be going to Munich, Germany on Nov 24 and returning 12/5 a.m. from the trip. Planning to be in Munich until the 27th with a day trip to Salzburg and leaving on the 27th to Nuremberg. From Nuremberg and maybe to Bamberg and on 11/29 p.m. go to Dresden. On 12/1 go to Prague. With all these said, wanted to get some suggestions on where to add a day and be in Prague from 12/2 leaving on 12/5th. Do not know if it makes sense to stay overnight in Salzburg or add a day on another city. Also, would like to see if you do tour guides in any of these cities when we are there. I'm in Prague now with my wife and son. I gotta say.. This helicopter noise constantly above is about to drive us insane and leave days before we were scheduled to. I can't imagine how the locals feel about it.
Still can't get used to the reservation stuff, so hard sometimes to be able te reserve a spot.
