Is this travel guide still relevant in 2023?
Here's a tip if you like Christmas. Prague is full of Christmas markets which are open until early January. So it's the perfect place to kick-down from your post Christmas blues. Fireworks are illegal however, so if you go during Newyears, don't expect a large fireworks show. Though a smaller fireworks show might be hosted on the 1st of January, organized by citizens. Prague isn't expensive, but it's not cheap either. The only thing that is seriously cheap is the beer. If you want to come to party, then Prague is 'the' place to be. It's filled to the brim with clubs with a pub crawl every night. Just don't be obnoxious and loud. Remember that people still want to sleep.
Fireworks are not illegal, there is a lot of them each year. However, during corona, the official national firework, which usually happens on a boat, didnt happen. This new years eve its gonna happen again hopefully
This is probably the most comprehensive travel video I've seen! Thank you I really appreciate the effort!😊
Generally good travel guide with some nice tips. Just awoid the "old cars" (they are just cheap new cars made to look historic and they are often in horrible technical condition and highly overpriced) and the "free guides". They are everywhere, are really pushy and for sure not free at all. In adition they are abusing a loophole in czech law and cover up as a charity project, which is not true. And the hop on/off busses? Just use tram or your own feet. It is a lot cheaper and you will see much more of prague beauty
Exactly 👌👍
Thank you
I love Prague. Just got home from my fifth trip. I'm from Denmark and seen with Danish eyes, Prague is quite cheap even when you end up in a tourist trap of a restaurant
Yeah no surprise. I was in Denmark. Very expensive. But good sightseeing and nature but the price of alcoholic beverages is outrageous and my 100k have bigger nightlife than Copenhagen at least from my impression. I get it why Danish students some years ago got so drunk and made problems in Prague. I guess it's something about that the more you travel the more you are generous that you live where you live. Overall it was a good trip but one of the boring ones. I have been in Copenhagen and Roskilde. Nice looking cities.
I think for us Swiss🇨🇭 Prague is cheap…
It's also cheap seen from my Dutch eyes :P Next september i'll go for the second time. I absolutely adore the city!
@@LucyMusic1999 Yes Denmark is so expensive, i was surprised, and the service level is very low some places. They dont even look or smile to customers. Danish people also are mostly very reserved. They dont talk to much with strangers. But beautiful and clean country.
Honestly a great effort, thank you.
Prague is simply awesome

Thank you Vaclav 😀
@@HungryPassport you are very welcome, lived there 1981-1990, moved from Czechia 🇨🇿 to Switzerland 🇨🇭
We loved it there 😀 and we love Switzerland too, I’m sure we’ll cover that too at some point in one of our videos
Trdelník is not a typical Czech dessert, it comes from Transylvania, which was located on the territory of today's Romania. And since the territory known as Transylvania was once conquered by the Hungarians, it is said that trdelník was first baked in Hungary and from there it was brought to the Czech Republic via Slovakia. Otherwise, I have to praise your very accurate information about the city where do i live.
Does not sound as Romanian word at all. Very Slavic.
My first time I have tried was in Budapest
@@ameliamorales891 Budapest is a beautiful city.
Best video
I don't get the dislikes. Very extensive. Thank you!
Thanks, appreciate it 😊
Dislikes because of the way they talk...

How about to visit in march and febuary xan you tell.me
Can u please tell me average price for taxi from airport to city center ? Thanks .
nice guys :D
Did I see you have an app . I can't find it
as local - i must say that the prices of coffee and local food are much higher than in the video.. Prices in the city centre are same like in any other european city. ( normal coffe, cappuccino or cafe latte you can usually have for 80-120 CZK depanding on size which is 3-5 Euro.)
Cappuccino in Roma costs 1.50 euros
@@DLGemma infatti Dio bon che truffa
I mean, if you have been only in Old Town, than yes, everything is more expensive. It is basically a tourist trap. Look for other parts of the city like Žižkov, Vinohrady, Vršovice, it is not far from the center, and there are very nice small cafés at reasonable prices. 🙂
Please is viltava river in prague
River VLTAVA
I live in Prague
I am coming in November hope we will meet and enjoy Prague
5:33 It´s look like Venice.
Where is that? So cool

Please, please...all of you who want to visit Prague. Watch HONEST GUIDE guys. It is from two Prague guys Honza and Janek, who get you through everything. And thats saying as a Prague citizen.
How was your trip
It was awesome, thanks 😊 Prague has so much to offer and it's all walking distance, very convenient. Have you been to Prague?
@@HungryPassport no
I am half Czechoslovakian American and my grandfather was in Bratsky Vestnik and knew Edward Benes and my family fought in the Resistance and I still have cousins in Prague and was there at 16 in May 1992 when I was on exchange to Germany.
🙏👌👍
how about Covid 19?
Who gives a fuck...
Whats that?
The video is very informative and it looks fantastic, but please slow down on the enthusiastic talking. I struggled concentrating on what was being said. In a «normal voice» this would be 100 % perfect.
Was going to say the same. My ears are bleeding after watching the entire video. But I must say the content is good.
and 14 days carantene?
No, and dont give a fuck anyway
Some NOTs of Prague. Trdelník is NOT a trational Czech food. For that price, get a zákusek (a variety of sweet pastry) and chlebíček (openfaced sandwich). Matrioshkas and those Soviet style hats are NOT traditional souvenirs. Do NOT had "Prague ham" at Old Town square. Too overpriced and they are scammers. Do not change money on the street.
"Things to do before" Just dont go should have said that.
Can i visit there prague? I am from pakistan
why not?
No
Hallo please help me this is where Prague ??? I am go this is very nice I like you too much 🤔🤔🤔🤔 😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍
Khalazi, Do try (hard) and improve your spoken English. It will make life easier, forcyou, and those good souls who try and help you.
Next time, use both temperature. you're in europe not america.

The talking style is cringe
Expensive and unsafe, beware !
You're expensive and unsafe.
Elaborate please
lol :DD
I was on Prague Summer 2019. Beautiful place! I will go again soon. Be aware when crossing streets as drivers DO NOT stop for pedestrians. I had an awful experience, almost got run over by a bus after tripping on the side walk w my half body on the street. My friends had to pull me over fast before the bus hitting me. I learned the hard way to be extra cautious, especially walking at night.
