  • I wish you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and happy days. You are the reason why I now 3D print tanks myself. After almost 15 years of model building in which I designed 1:8 tanks and then built them from aluminum, I always had doubts about the usefulness of FDM in functional model building. Although I had 3D printed many parts, such as hatches or exhaust systems, I never wanted to print parts such as swing arms, rollers, tracks, or entire hulls. I only started using it after your videos, so far everything is working very well. Even though the tracks wear out much faster than cast aluminum, they are unbeatably cheap in comparison. I had to expect several hundred euros for cast aluminum. So I'm happy that I found your videos. Have fun with your hobby and I look forward to more videos from you.

    • That's the highest praise, to hear that someone gets inspired by one's work. 🙏 Thank you so much. If I had the means and skills, I would definitely try and cast metal tracks, but printed parts work good enough and let's you finish your ideas in reasonable time. In the future, I will definitely try and cast stuff too. Great to hear that your projects are going forward, have a great Christmas and thank you once again for all the kind words!

  • У меня такой вопрос, как вы печатаете модели, то есть как вы попадаете прямо в нужные размеры и если это 3д модели, то не могли бы сказать, где вы их берёте?

    • Hi, I draw all my models In FreeCad, using blueprints I find online. The blueprints mostly comes from 1/35 scale plastic models, but I scale them to 1/6 and use them as a background templet.
