They are. Stipe still works part time as a firefighter-paramedic and plans on going full time when he retires, very down to earth "blue collar" guy. DC is generally likeable enough and has become a mainstay fight commentator.

My big brother tried out for this season. The hook was that each fighter lwt or fwt was undefeated. My brother not only was an undefeated pro (5-0 at the time) but also undefeated ammy 9-0. They asked him during try outs what weight he fought at and he said whatever you want me at. He wasn't afraid to fight anyone. Struggled getting people to fight him even before the try out, and especially after! Obviously they didn't take him for the season. Since then won on DWCS S3 E2 (no contract offered even after a dominant win) won the LFA Featherweight Title via TKO LFA84, still undefeated at 11-0 (20-0 combined mma record) and he signed a multi fight deal with Bellator. Rejection is not the end, it's a reason to keep working hard.

My big brother tried out for this season. The hook was that each fighter lwt or fwt was undefeated. My brother not only was an undefeated pro (5-0 at the time) but also undefeated ammy 9-0. They asked him during try outs what weight he fought at and he said whatever you want me at. He wasn't afraid to fight anyone. Struggled getting people to fight him even before the try out, and especially after! Obviously they didn't take him for the season. Since then won on DWCS S3 E2 (no contract offered even after a dominant win) won the LFA Featherweight Title via TKO LFA84, still undefeated at 11-0 (20-0 combined mma record) and he signed a multi fight deal with Bellator. Rejection is not the end, it's a reason to keep working hard.
Update! He won his debut in bellator beating the #9 ranked fighter at 145, now he's ranked in the top 10 with a 12-0 professional (21-0 total) record! Look him up! JUSTIN GONZALES.
