I love how instead of just getting rid of the mooshroom he changed the design of the entire build to make sure the cow was in the right place
I thought the first set would end up ridiculously high compared to the original, but it's surprisingly level. Just like Minecraft I guess. They nailed the right block height to make elevation without stacking too fast.

since lego price their sets based on block count, my guess is that since it's a 'kids series', they focus more on hitting cheap price points rather than focusing on accurcy and detail, like the Landmark replication sets
Sadly yes im sur it is part of this :P
instead of using 2 1x3 plates for the bed, i would’ve loved to see a 2x2 plate with a 2x1 with studs, so that the mini figures could actually sleep in the bed
For mycelium, I would have used the discontinued sand purple color. Not sure if there were ever any plates or tiles in that color, though.
I like the video and how you improved on the Minecraft sets. However, I would have also liked to see longer shots of the before and after comparisons of each set. Since you took so much time to build each set, it would be nice to have more than 5 seconds to take in the finished sets.
Exactly my idea
Just pause the video
Just pause it. It’s not the same but we gotta make due out here😂

This is awesome but would probably hike the price of the set 10 fold, however some parts like putting the glass panes in the middle of the blocks is a great change they should adopt. But overall the fact that you can edit and change the set by yourself makes lego really great
@DON'T CLICK THIS VIDEO you’re right, i don’t

Same for the lava
This is awesome, the Lego MC sets are probably the most inaccurate to any Lego series there is, so it's cool that you fixed it and showed us how to.
Other themes have had way more inaccuracies than Minecraft, and half these "inaccuracies" are just because making it 1-1 would drive up the price (Like making every single block exactly square) or because a minifigure wouldn't be able to use it (Like the door being 2 wide and the bed being 6 long).
@@aidanbblp4308 interesting
LEGO Mario is less accurate. The blocks are all literally a quarter the size they’re supposed to be
Harry Potter sets and Lego Jurassic world are just as inaccurate
Ninjago is pretty inaccurate too
The designs are super nice-looking and really detailed! it's so impressive and you did what you set out to do. But, I noticed something odd about them. I was imagining being a kid again and getting these, and.... these would kinda suck as playsets? The first and third ones are ok, but the other two just don't work at all, primarily bc you put tiles on top of everything! Smooth, slippery tiles that require a bunch of extra care to make sure the minifigures stand up on them! It'd be a total pain and I'd definitely be wondering why they didn't design it so you could stand the figures up easily. So it'd really be a simple as swapping those tiles with ones with studs and then these would be perfect!
Really cool to see these sets refined in a more accurate and thought out way. I have a massive minecraft display that is cool but is a total pain the ass to connect them into a cohesive environment. Really hope the designers will change in future years. (Also I had a rant in a recent video I made that sounded exactly like what you said lol 😆)
I really wish you gave us a more detailed look at each build, including the in game minecraft one!!! I love all your work so much!

Can't you just use the brick separator tool? Works even better if you have two separators.
@@RayramAureanBlue The separators need a minimum amount of leverage to work, even when used as a pair. With the size of the plates, and not having any gap to pry them apart, the separators will pull off the bricks long before they pull the bricks themselves apart...

This was fascinating. It would have been nice if you’d done a before and after segment at the end of the video so we had something to compare the builds to.
The treehouse was quite a glowup!! Also I agree with the beds. Sure it takes a few extra pieces but I wish they would at least change that.
I think some of y’all are completely missing the point. LEGO Minecraft sets are playsets, not display kits. Functionality takes top priority over accuracy; it’s why the doors are bigger and the chests aren’t accurate, and beds are longer. Things need to be useable for minifigures. Obviously, there’s still a lot of inaccuracies; colors for certain things, designs for certain mobs, the scale of structures, but complaining about the door not being completely unusable for the sake of accuracy is a bit ridiculous This comment is mainly about certain people complaining, not the video itself. I know the video is made for fun and to get that accurate look for display purposes, which is completely fine. Some of y’all just gotta chill
Sheesh everybody's a critic. I think this set is very much improved, and for how much Legos cost, they should all be detailed and intricate. That's the whole point. You win sir 🌟
yeah, people love to bring up how this would make the sets more expensive, but i really don't see the problem like no shit, a better set costs more
@@fortnitesexman I’d imagine a large majority of people who get this are children, and I doubt their parents would want to spend more money than they already do on these. Unless they’re collectors, then sure, but the average parent, especially in this day and age?
@@mochabearry so lego should make super cheap garbage because parents would buy it more often? i would much rather have them make an actual good product worth buying
@@fortnitesexman The whole point is that while the original sets aren't as "accurate", they have to be that way because of minifigure sizes and playability. All of these sets _look_ better but children don't care about that as much, and RJM's sets can't be played with as much. His doors don't even work.
@@TheAdvertisement children are smarter than you think and even if they were a brick, just because it's a kids toy does not mean it can't be a good kids toy and pretty much all i ask for is the bare fucking minimum here, have the sets made out of cubes, like, minecraft

4:07 to make it more like the BLOCK game I used ROUND PLATES
Great video! Only one thing: a Minecraft block measures 1 square meter and the player height is 1.80 meters, so we can say that the LEGO minifigure high is 1.80, the LEGO Minecraft block has to be 3x3x3 in order to the LEGO minifigure fits in just two blocks stacked. I know this will be so expensive and probably look awful, but from my point of view is the most accurate way of doing Minecraft with LEGO. What do you think?
@DON'T CLICK THIS VIDEO Bro shut up
@DON'T CLICK THIS VIDEO and what if I do?
I've actually tried this myself, and unfortunately a 3x3 stud by 7 or 8 plate "cube" of Lego doesn't form a perfect cube like the 2x2 stud by 5 plate cube does. Depending in whether you use 7 or 8 plates it comes out half a plate too short or too tall. However, if the size inaccuracy doesn't bother you, it'll work fine.

If u want it to be accurate to the game, the amazing thing about logo is you can edit it yourself instead of making the sets more expensive.
@@its_hailey-rose8300 Of course you could modify the sets yourself.... or lego could make a bed that is actually the right length. Or make a door thats the right size. Or make the Creepers the right color. Those are changes that would not inflate the prize but just make it better looking.
@@applesource8261 bro the mini figures aren’t the same size as Steve the bed is 2x3 because if it was 2x2 Steve’s legs or head would be sticking out and he would also not be able to fit through the door ;-;
@@applesource8261 he honestly made something’s less accurate
@@applesource8261 why would you ever want a 1x2 door or a 2x1 bed? Like yeah “accuracy” whatever but it would be completely unusable for minifigures. The minifigures would hang off the bed, and wouldn’t be able to fit through the door. It’s the same reason they use standard lego chests instead of accurate chests made of plates; functionality is so much more valuable in a playset than accuracy If you want a 1x1 recreation of Minecraft? Buy the parts to make a MOC. But that’s not what LEGO is But yeah they could really do better with colors, like goddamn lego y’all have used 2-3 different colors to represent spruce wood 💀

I think making the blocks 3 studs wide would be more accurate. It's a bit more complicated to make them 7.5 plates high, but with brackets, a 1x1 plate with a horizontal clip and a 1x1 round plate with a bar, it is definitely possible.

Yes, these sets are much better. However. 1. Lego makes hundreds of these things, so in order for each set to not be $50 minimum or something, they have to be smaller. 2. Lego has always made basic sets that allow room for expansion and creativity. There’s no use being creative and expanding on perfection, so they leave it to us. Your video is a perfect example.
Oh damn man, thanks for letting me no it's not like I can read you dumbasses reposting each other's statements in every other fucking comment, smartass.
plz do more idk how long ago this video was but i liked it^^
btw liquids ingame (water, lava) are slightly shorter than normal blocks. meaning u could lower them by 1 for a more game accurate look. good builds tho
People keep saying that these sets would be stupidly expensive, but I disagree. LEGO have shown that they're amazing at making good use of parts. Like, for the base they can do a large plate, some bricks, and then more plates. They don't need to go insane with the piece count like making EVERY block exactly 2x2 wide, they can make them 2x6 or 2x8 in larger areas, and they don't need to tile everything, meaning more larger plates to fill in areas instead of a bunch of tiles. Besides, the Minecraft sets are already ridiculously priced for what they are. The sets are so bad and cost so much more than they should. Older Minecraft sets had more accurate sizes, so they could 100% do the same now. A lot of the time it's like they don't even bother. Not every set needs a play feature either. The play feature is the fact that it's Minecraft, you're meant to do things differently. And besides, LEGO makes things overpriced and inaccurate all of the time. Fixing these Minecraft sets is just doing what they should have done in the first place.
I would love to see a detail shot of all the finished builds at the end! Just some close ups and zoom outs at the non sped up speed to see the finished creations :) I feel like I kinda missed them in this video
To be fair to Lego, there is one set that absolutely blew me away when my little cousin showed it off to me. It was the Enderdragon set. I cannot believe that dragon was made out of Lego. It was practically identical to the one in game. Seriously cool
Not a Minecraft fan but I can totally appreciate your awesome improvements! Better than Lego designers, yeah!
i think the red creeper maybe it is taking damage, the play feature can be seen as either knockback or an explosion depending how you want to look at it, considering how it only takes 3 dirt with it you may also be able to say it's both as if you knocked the creeper far enough back, yet it still exploded its fairly likely that it could reasonably do that amount of dmg

I agree with the architectural and landscaping fixes, but the ladders, compostor, etc. (excluding beds - good job there) makes a bit more sense as they were originally, since Legos are meant for play and function. The doors have always been a pet peeve of mine too, but there isn't much to really do about it while maintaining full functionality for minifigs.

The fact that you have a sponser already is cool. Good going bro!
These builds do look very accurate but I do get why LEGO chose to not make everything a block tall or that accurate because not everything has to be exactly similar as long as it looks cool!
The last one was really cool. And now I just want to build stuff in lego and in Minecraft. But the only lego blocks I have access to is a star wars spaceship set, so Minecraft it is.
7:45 quartz is a very unusual material for a treehouse...
I was laughing at how inaccurate the beds were. You did so much better, keep up the good work!
That very first one you fixed us still inaccurate. Water is about 2 pixels lower than the ground. So it shouldn't be exact the same height
Really cool video but I would’ve liked to see the builds longer for at least a minute.
"what's the problem with this set?" "The round, totally unnatural chest next to Ale-" *"THE MOOSHROOM COW"*
While I see you have talent in video making, and your editing is very good, I just feel like most of these "inaccuracies" are just nitpicks, or not understanding minifigures need to have some accommodations 1. The bottom plates are clearly just meant to be the top of the block, making the ground a block high, and making every block an exact cube would drive up the price unnecessarily. 2. Maybe the bed is 6 long because that's how tall a figure is, and a 4 long bed is too small? Or the door is 4 wide (ps. I have no idea where "2x3" came from) because its literally impossible for a figure to fit thru a 1 block wide door? 3. 5:24 Two words: Warped Wood (Specifically stairs) 4. For the Mushroom and Tower, you didn't really fixe them, more so made a completely different set that didn't have what made them fun (Your mushroom is just a completely different set that already exists) 5. Is the Creeper mid explosion? Yes. Does it make no sense? Yes. But is it cool and fun? Hell ya! You're builds do look really good, and I get LMC could be better in some areas. But I feel its better to have a fun less expensive set that isn't 1-1 in every single aspect, than an exact 1-1 build that's needlessly bigger and not as interesting.
Exactly I thought I was the only person who thought he was doing things and not factoring in mini figures and etc and the mushroom house is accurate big red mushrooms can’t spawn in dark oak forests
