  • Conor has stagnated. What has he improved since the Eddie fight? He gets hit more, gets taken down easier, misses wildly more.. Nowhere near as dynamic. Boxing was the worst thing to happen to his in ring career.

    • It was the payday more than the boxing. He had an 8 week camp for floyd and it could/should of been left at that. For the first time I’m taking a dislike to john- something about his delusion the last few fights even talking about planning a gilly on Dustin just doesn’t add up. Yes Dustin had a great round 1 but how many fighters have a great round 1 only to lose the fight? It happens all the time in MMA. For example, Chandler absolutely destroyed Oliveira in the 1st round, and then 1 punch from Oliveira in round 2 changed the whole fight. My point is that UFC 264 didn’t give us a conclusive ending and in my opinion the 4th fight needs to happen again. In this way, glass bottles can be cut without the aid of a glass cutter. First, the bottle is dipped in boiling water to the desired level, and then dipped to the same level in cold water, and it gently bursts in a straight cut. The same thing happens with the shin bone, because at the bottom the bone is practically not covered by the muscles and receives a temperature shock. No wonder Conor's leg broke. • I really appreciate the utter honesty and passion that he was opening up about. I will always love seeing Conor compete, no matter the record, IDC. As long as Conor is doing something he loves, I'll greatly enjoy seeing him compete. I hope he heals well and then they get really creative at their approach with their fighting style. I feel like Conor has so much skill we have yet to really see him lean into. I'd like to see him compete against different opponents and he can finish this set of fights with Dustin once he gets his flow back after the healing process because leg injuries really are no joke to bounce back from. I recently had my ACL replaced and it was such a pain of a recovery. I'm still not what I used to be before the injury. Can't skateboard or run like before. I hike, walk as my only exercise with my dogs. I miss the hyperactivity before the injury but I just immensely hope Conor recovers amazingly. But maybe new opponents is exactly what Conor needs to get going again. I'll watch McGregor, O'Malley, Izzy, Wonderboy compete no matter what! IDC about records. As long as the athlete is enjoying what they're doing and learning from their mistakes I will always enjoy watching them all compete because I love their fighting styles. I'd love to see a bigger implementation of a game plan that focuses on hitting but not getting hit much by moving a lot. Bring back those tucking looping uppercuts mixed into his combos like his debut fight. Body, side, push kicks, attack the body to open the guard to the head. I'd love to see just how creative Conor and his coaches can get. The dude is insanely skilled. I feel like we've barely seen 50% of his skills. Good luck healing up! I'll always be cheering you on.
