My friend was giving blood at the London Blood Bank, and he fainted i tried to shoot the full experience but then I had to stop recording as it was getting a bit too serious
To the young man who passed out: I just want to say "thank you"....thank you for making me realize that I was not the only person in the world who passed out while giving blood and/or getting a simple injection (shot)….it happens and we're all human.
my husband did that too untill he was 30 something. He is 45 now. My son who is 14 now recently also fainted while blood was drawn. Wow that was scary. He also cramped for a few seconds, fainted and then was back without knowing what happened. Really scary. Taking blood of my son was no trouble untill age 12.... now it’s a nightmare. Not the needle part or convincing him. That’s all fine but the feeling sick, throwing up or even fainting and cramping now is spooky. Hope it gets better with time.
@@StephyGrowsWeed yes he will soon inshallah . but whats the reason .
Bro,not cool trying to make him do something he doesn't want to-do.
Poor guy. I know how he feels. I always pass out when I'm getting blood drawn
They should have made his friend wait somewhere else. He was a jerk. The man giving blood would have been fine without all the chatter!!
What ? He was not a jerk he was helping him by staying with him.
It’s cute how he cares for him.
I fainted too, but I don't have a phobia of needles. It was just that particular incident I guess. My mom says my eyes rolled back into my head and it was really scary... Eek! Thankfully now I can get blood drawn with minimal anxiety.
I do have a phobia of needles and blood which causes me to faint every time I see them it's horrible last time my friend had a nose bleed I saw the blood and I was on the floor the next minute I woke up with about 3 teachers around me and the nurse at my school.
Well, I fainted just watching the vidéo.
People can't help it
me too but for some reason i like it
R u okay
Same
Where is the phlebotomist’s gloves? There should be like a gauze covering the needle stick area I’m very horrified
You could see the colour drain from that poor chaps face
thehoneybadger1223 nice
Even watching this video makes me want to pass out its horrible 😑🙄
normal and very common reaction to losing blood ,just had one today 😉
Ya done good young man....well done.
I used to faint every time even before they started taking blood. I had severe fear of taking blood. But It all changed last month when I was in the ER twice. They too so many blood tests that I saw it’s not that scary. The thought of a needle going into the vein stills makes me cringe. But the veins aren’t special. Its like whatever, not a big deal. It’s doesn’t hurt at all pretty much. I had blood work done today and no dizziness or anxiety. It’s possible to overcome this fear!!
It happens with me all the time . And I really wish I can get over my fear I just can't help my self !!
I'm working on it and I hope I can over come them soon cause I want to study medicine insha'allah
You must regret your every seconds of your life that you made him faint insisting im to do what he didn't wanted to
I wanted to punch that friend. He caused this young man to faint. People are already nervous when doing this. Such a damn idiot.
hey you r braver then me I also have a huge fear of needles I stall every time I have to get shots does that sound like I am a wuss at all? just curious
For me it's just the needle right in the Vein I know they need to to put it in the the Vein but it just creeps me out
Gh0st Wolfy OMG me too, I have venephobia
Omg when did I comment this lol! ^^^
Hello old me
Yeah me too. I don't fear blood or needles but just the idea of being drained is just a weird feeling. And when I have my blood taken I feel sometimes lightheaded.
@@golly123123you can say hello to old old you now
I see no gloves during the handling of the transfusion, I hear an annoying friend who is so obnoxious, bro next time shut up please..
This is not needle phobia, it's hemophobia. You don't fear the needle, you fear the blood in general
I was at the edge of fainting when we had our blood test like my eyes were so blurry and I just did not want to faint also they said it would feel like a bite from an ant but to me it hurt as fck I hate it so much it's been a week and my arm feels like it hurting 😭
they didn't have gloves on. It doesn't bother me but I rarely see that these days. I know this is an old video but still kinda freaky seeing paramedics unbothered by blood getting on their hands
I’m wondering none of the phlebotomists is wearing gloves, r they joking??
I fainted
You should've kept recording :) , btw I'm arab as well :P
***** yeah I know, I heard her . Too bad though. Hope he was okay :)

محمد ده عنده نفس الفوبياا اللى عندى :((
Yeaaah Maghrébia🤘 🇲🇦🇫🇷
Why did they have to hold his hand down when he fainted? Don't the muscles relax when someone faints?
Sara Mei because he was moving his arm and the needle was still in his arm.
Not always, some people have like mini seizures where their body gets stiff
Thr guy telling him to look wss not helping.
No gloves? Gross
People who have these types of reactions have what is called “ anemia”
Lol um nope
It's not anemia damn it, it's just a phobia of blood
