THAT WOMAN ROUTINE | my daily habits for productivity, wellness, health, and balance

Welcome to my "that woman routine". Do you subscribe to a "that girl" or "that woman" routine in your life? I'd love to hear how you condition yourself to achieve the life of your dreams! And remember: The outcomes of your life are not governed by influxes of energy or how accurately you copy someone’s daily routine that you saw on social media (mine included!). Start small with your daily routines. Wake up and ask yourself "what I would like to enter the evening having accomplished"? Do this every day, and you'll find yourself farther than you ever thought possible.

  • As a 29 year old married woman who lives very rurally in a dark, wet, cold country and works shifts as a nurse/midwife I appreciate this video so much! I don’t know if it’s a generational thing, a weather/cultural thing, or a me thing but all the “That Girl” videos just seem like some kind of celebrity life to me 😂

It's fulfilling..wish you the best.

    • I'm a nurse. We should do a ' that nurse ' channel. Wake up at 5am. Fall over the clutter at your feet. Go downstairs. Cry at the mess in your sink. Drink coffee, shower, get ready for. Spend 12 hours being pulled from pillar to post. Shit, I forgot to food prep. AHH a banana will do and I'll nip to the canteen. Get home at nine or later ..... Most likely eleven at night because you are ' journalling you patients care' . A few wines are fine.whats in the fridge. Ahh that cheese will do for a sarnie, bed comes at midnight ish... Alarm goes of at 5 am.... Ugh.... Rinse and repeat 😂

I work nights so getting up at 5 am isn't going to happen 🙃 love that you said "whenever your day begins" rather than "you have to be up at 5 in order to be productive" Love it! Thank you so much!!!

  • Hi Katie! This is a really great video. Definitely what I needed to hear!! I just moved into my own place this year! Exciting! But I am overwhelmed with how easily my to-do list gets piled up. Trying to get things done, yet find balance and sanity throughout my daily routine, is really hard. Social media sometimes portrays a bit of a unrealistic "daily lifestyle", which makes me feel quite unsatisfied with the way I get things done. However, your video brought some comfort and light to establishing a more dignified routine. Loved the "slush fund of time" tip! I can't wait to use some of your advice!

I really like the trend of habits especially on healthy habits but as always there comes a time where it becomes trendy. You bring the true sense of that back instead of being just aesthetically pleasing. Especially as a woman in her 30s I really appreciate it because we need to see more realistic videos like that. • I've been loving all your content, Katie! Its been really inspiring to me as I reevaluate and restructure my own habits to fit myself & life now vs. a few years ago when I started embracing this concept.💕 I'm more like you where I love to incorporate the core-concepts of "that girl/woman". I've learned that the key to my kind of cozy is to have balance between sustainable habits/structure and also wiggle room to deviate from those if needed, holding myself accountable for how I can improve while also meeting myself where I'm at non-judgementally. I love the idea of doing a reflection in the evening and also the monthly reset you do, I'm definitely going to be incorporating those into my own journal!

    @mishmoss@mishmoss Жыл бұрын
    • Yes!!! Wiggle room is 100% necessary for me too - I hate the feeling of "failure" so giving myself flexibility is definitely needed so I don't self-implode. Ha! :) Thank you so much for watching, friend.

  • This video was necessary! It’s interesting to see how many women like me did not fully relate to those “that girl” videos despite having valuable insights in them beyond the aesthetics. It was heavily aesthetically-driven and beautiful but without much of a guide to them, they kind of lost their value? Plus trends can get icky. That’s why I love and appreciate how you broke this down. I have been mastering routines since this year started and I’m doing pretty well but definitely learned some things like what you said about creating that slush fund of time, reward-based incentives and majorly, how routines help turn off fight or flight. This was a big revelation to me, how you put it 🙌🏽 Thank you, thank you.

  • Excellent video! The idea of using things that you like doing like scrolling through social media as a reward really works. I’ve been using this technique for many years. I started when I had a very tedious long job as a student that needed doing, and got through it by breaking it up into time segments rewarded by playing a video game. I asked another student how she did it and she rewarded herself with sewing. It has to be whatever motivates you and what you enjoy and we all are different. It’s a brilliant productivity technique.

  • Yessss! thank you for making this video ❤️ as a 30 year old, 9-5 worker, multi side hustle business owner, plus taking care of my cat & planning a wedding, it’s a nice take to see this from a “women’s” point of view. Thank you ❤️
