Testing out the new sight (CVLIFE) and new gun (Templeton). Both in good working order but maybe had the red dot sighted a little high, however, the pig was only 10 feet off the barrel.

The other one you saw was actually the one you shot at ... he hooked left a little after the shot and can be seen running left to right near the far tree line ...
I think you are spot on mate, jeez he covered some country quick then.
I'd run fast too if Stu just shot at me ... ha ha @@HuntingwithStu
@@HuntingwithStu hello. I'm ready for the free hunting trip
@@HuntingwithStu pathetic
Yea, for a blink of an eye you can see a black bugger running.
Bugger was fast, then disappeared. Houdini lol. Good to see your out and about. Happy Hunting my friend!!!
Thanks mate yes unbelievable
@HuntingwithStu so when this free hunt?
I Think you just Vaporised him Stu?....It just disappeared😎👍
Definitely aliens had something to do with this. Normally how I would explain a miss 😂
Bastard aliens, always coming down here and doing that shit...
I would say what about a miss and disappear but don’t even know if it was hit or not but I believe it was a hit lol just it’s disappearance is Star Trek beam out lol.
That stealth cloaking technology!
You hit him Stu! He bled out and you found him to the right by accident amongst the small gum trees after you walked circle's for a while looking for his blood and tracks
He exited stage left real hard at the shot! I thought you smacked him. Well donenmate love the content I been living vicariously through your hunting videos mate please keep the content coming I'll be back on my feet again after I beat this cancer. Cheers
I think you are right mate, thanks for the ongoing support and you keep fighting the good fight mate. Get back on your feet when you are well enough mate. No rush.
It's pretty obvious Stu. The joints haunted, I could swear I've seen you blast that pork chop before. Time to pack up 😂👻
He’s still running! Great heart thumping video, Stu.
Thanks mate
Keep the vids coming Thianpa (Mate)! Accuracy on point as alwayss Cheers mate!
Thanks, will do Mate
Stu you just blasted it into another dimension mate!
LOL coulda mate
I think he jagged left into the dark spot, then kept to the clear trail so no noise
Possibly mate
Just a mirage Stu, it happens when your senses are so heightened and you've been hunting pigs so long, reflexes are certainly still there
You might be right mate
they is quick, dude.
Your bullet must of teleported the pig for your next video Stu lol, damn that’s a quick pig,,, good to see you out about Stu keep up the great hunting videos well done
Plausible mate
I think there's a glitch in the matrix!!😮
LOL that would explain it mate
How you liking the Templeton Stu? Where did you get that bolt handle? Looks better than the stock one
It is a good gun mate, still getting used to it. The handle came with it
I reckon it was a very rare occasion that the pig was quicker than you the draw 😊
What rounds were you using? Made that one evaporate.
That bush you shot was bulletproof!
Wow...I think he might have darted left into the trees 😅 You make super great content. keep up the good work.
Yes I think so 🤔
From the camera angle he had to go left
Is that the OK round up Stu🤠
This is impressive video- and has a lot of very perceptive commenters. My first thought was Houdini, second was aliens- both already mentioned. After playing the video on my tv at 1/4 speed I thought I saw that pig duck back into the brush way out to the left. Someone else beat me on that observation too! It was amazing to watch. The pig is so close that you expect it to be in the grass ahead, and in fact the small tree draws your eyes forward- long enough for the pig to escape left while you moved forward. I think that had the angles been any different, this hunt would not have been such a mystery
Thanks for the comments mate
I reckon it kept peeling right and may have attempted to circle around behind you. We have had the smarter ones try that more than once. Sometimes they bleed out before they get around, sometimes things get "interesting".
Hogs are very smart and know how to hide. I was hog hunting in central Tennessee and literally almost stepped on a fairly sizable hog that had laid down in a patch of grass about 18 inches tall.
He ran to the left, the tall shrub was in your way to view him. He ran out into the field between the three little shrubs together. Then at 32 seconds you can see his back running close to the tree line between the three shrubs and the two smaller bushes to the right of the three bushes. Then he went into the tree line kind of between the two taller trees to the right of the two bushes that are right of the three bushes he ran between. I slowed it down to .25 to see all of this.
Thanks mate I think you are right
You opened an inter-dimensional wormhole and the porker is now lost in the space time continuum!!
Phantom pigs appear once in a while. Very elusive and fast creatures. Or......he could have been beamed up to the mother pig ship. LOL
There’s a slight two second frame where you can see the pig running behind those small trees on the left about 30-40 meters away.
Don’t know if it’s the same pig but you can also see it continue running back towards the right pretty far in front of you.
Yes it must have been that same pig, wow.
I sure can’t see that on my cell phone 😂
I think the only way to explain this Is that the boar did an angle of 90° on the left covered by the bush at the Moment of the shot
Im fuelled up and ready. When the free trip?
Stu, will be honor hunt with you sir, 🙌🔥 i hope one day i can visit there,i mean Australia & Indonesia were so close , right?
Let me know if you do visit mate
@@HuntingwithStu alright, mate! cheers 🍻
the teleporter gates opened up right at that moment of fire, then you seen the same pig across the field to which made you think it was another pig, they used to say "yeah that would be the day when pigs could fly" well they have up their game they are into teleportation now
LOL, 'well they have up their game', LOL
He found 1 of yr Bundy cans stashed in the river. Bulletproof now 😊
It looks on super slow motion as soon as you shot, it spun around back to the left where it came from, and you passed each other with the bush in between.
You're just one of the rare people that have witnessed when pigs fly.
piggy entered LUDICROUS SPEED and disappeared
Bugger me Stu, I don't know. ???🤠
LOL
Somehow he managed to pull a hard left and did the old dingo loop back behind you 😮😅
Yes I think so mate
He’d have to be the luckiest 🐖 around to pull that shit off
I suspect bullet deflection by brush(+ tough hide)= non-fatal wound @most.(I've actually watched a whitetail buck resume feeding after a tree branch approx size of my finger thickness, deflected it to ground.Had I not have seen limb collapse, I would have been puzzled, as it first appeared to be easy shot). On a muzzle-loader hunt, I shot a doe in the foot w/a deflected shot!(she lived 3 more years!!) Shooting in an actual hunting scenario is not the same as bench-rest target shooting!!
While u are walking a littel bit on the right the pig is going mirror to you on the left, so he stay covered by the bush (u are walking 2 pm he is running 10 am) you can see his back though the littel bush running. After he change direction and u can see him in the left portion of the screen running right near the three. Sorry for my bad english, from italy 🇮🇹
That is probably what happened mate
I believe you may have blown him into another dimension! 😳
Had too many Bundy's and couldn't see straight 😂😂
Stu - them Black hawke 27 pellet BB loads are hard to find now
Yes I'm on my last box now
I don't think you missed Mate. That pig looks like he did the lay down flat trick somewhere close. like the little ones do to hide. 👀 Maybe a Warthog type hole close.
Probs mate. I reckon I clean missed though. Hard to do at 10 paces with a scatter gun ha.
Yeah Stu, I agree with @Ruger41mag. That pig hooked 'em to the left. And yes you can see him near the tree line above the bill of your cap next to the slender tree.
Yes I think so mate
You shot, missed I think, it curved left, and as you crest that bush, you can actually see it double back to the right toward the further tree line👍 pesky boars haha. The tall grass is just high enough to given cover lol
You sent him to another dimension 😂😂
LOL plausible
This is the most intense hunting I've ever seen.... damn!
Thanks mate, then you might like some of my other clips.
He was so close, you were over leading him. Muscle memory works great, as long as the target is at a relatively "normal" range. He simply got the drop on you. I have done it bird hunting, where the bird "surprises" me by being too close.
at 0:23, if you pause the video, you are way ahead of him. fine if he was say 40 yards out, but at say 5 to 10 yards, full miss given the velocity of the load and he still excellerating. had you aimed right at him, probably would have been a kill.
Zombies got him old mate !
he did a harold holt
Your using those magic bullets again! 😂 Definitely not any hole's around? 🤔
The rope that you use to tie them up to the tree snapped back and the pig ended up back at the base of the tree with its water and food bowl? See you in March, love Pood. 💕
LOL yes that is a possibility Pood, ha! CU in camp mate
No pig stu that was a drop bear way to quick, you must off court it off guard 🤪😂👍🏻🐗🇦🇺
LOL
Thats them new "whammy shells"!
See the sun to your left, shadows to the right. You shot the shadow!
Yes I think so mate
He ran forward then left. You can see the silhouette threw the tree in his way.
“Boris the Bullet Dodger” !?! The pig stoped, ducked his head down to dodge your bullet then took a sharp left turn while the smoke was in the air so you didn’t see him leave!?!
Great work mate, not sure what happened and I’m not about to make assumptions! Free? I’d pay to hunt with you legend 🍻 up next full Video with a toast to the one that got away bourbon 🥃 👍
Simple....YOU MISSED!
Gelungenes jagdvideo Gruss, Jürgen 🤠
had to have spun super hard to the left back up into the thick instead of where it looked like he was going out into the open. probably hit him good and he spun into the thick to the left and instantly dropped.
Probs right mate
Depleted uranium bullets Stu. It vaporised him lol. Andy
LOL maybe mate
It looks like it moved quietly off to your left and you walked forward of it. My view of the footage there's a dark shape that moves that way after the shot.
It hooked a hard left from the strike to its right side. They do that!
Yes, it does and in front of the treeline, it move to the right side.
It just exploded into thin air not on the same subject but what shotgun did u end up getting i cant recall seeing a vid with the new gun thats if u got one PS dont knock the clunky Adlers they always go Boom
Yes new gun Templeton 2000 but still got the adler
@@HuntingwithStu how's the Templeton going so far any better than the Adler I mean there not expensive guns there just good for what we use them for I'm still using my SHS I've had for 5 years and it still goes bang every time I rekons 3000 plus rounds through her I might look into getting another shotty and keeping the SHS for a spare there's just so many on the market at the moment just a little confused what to look at
I have never used a straight pull or press button shotty before, however, this gun is very good.
Deflection. If your wad/power piston (or what ever they call it know) struck a branch/twig of any size it could make you miss. Did you look for or find the shot cup? I'd bet it was off line with your target. I've seen it with turkey hunters.
Could be mate
Blew piggy into another dimension
I’m pretty sure he went into the next dimension
Bacon face be like, beam up Scotty, an make it quick, this fukas got a gun
LOL could be right mate
The art of concealment, your shot change his direction in line with the shrubs blocking your view, or your shot turned him into pink mist
Are you hunting in Oz, or in the Bermuda Triangle?
LOL
"It ain't got no gas"
That’s a glitch in the matrix brother!
Yup probs mate
You shot high, he ran right and continued on
An extraordinarily quick drop bear ?
LOL could be mate, ha
Must have been one of those vaporizing shells lol
At quarter speed it looks like it hooked left as you fired and ran around behind the tree, hidden by the brush in front of you. Quite possible you hit him, just not hard enough to stop him.
He ran around to the left, around the right hand side of the 2 shrubs 50ft to your front left in the clearing and kept going on the angle and you looked right, and you couldn't hear him because you where moving and breathing heavy and your ears where ringing, thats what happened lol no worries 👍
Thanks mate
I watched this on my phone so it was hard to tell what actually happened! I’ll rewatch this on my laptop and try slow-motion but my guess is your shot behind him!
Yeah looked like the bugger hookin real fast to the left haha
Yes I think so mate
Easy. What happened is you fired left handed. Any right added person will tell you that if you do that you will never hit anything snap shooting. 😊 (Both dad and me are lefties but he trained me to shoot rifles right handed so I could use bolt actions properly. Turned out to be an even better idea than he thought because I figured out later that I’m right eye dominant. Now I shoot rifles righty and pistols lefty lol).
Good stuff mate, you have one up on me as I am lefty only
Im thinking it looks like you smacked him, he pulled hard left and then scoots back away from ya and then out to the right again... hes the one ya pointed at running away, same ol boar! Great Video!! Great reflexes too!!
Thanks mate, well if he is the same boar then he was next level to get away from that situation. They are so crafty and agile!
Run Forrest Run
After slowing the video down to 1/4 speed and enlarging it, I can see the pig cut away from you at 11 o'clock at the shot, and kept the bush between it and you as you moved up, made it to the edge of the field, and cut hard left and out of sight of the camera. Did you go back and look for blood?
Sound like what happened mate. I had a bit of a look but I reckon I totally missed.
Looked like it split off to the left, the shot probably forced it that way and the blast obscured it .. best guess🤙
pig went to another multiverse, dame aliens
What is with the giant oversized optic on a shotgun? The pig went down into a burrow,
I don't use it anymore mate.
Behind you 😮
Went straight back into cover on the left...? He definitely went left at First anyway.
If there was no blood that means it was a clean miss. At that range, the shot has little chance to spread out even with a short barrel. Shit happens.
Correction you missed with the new straight pull and wished you kept the A110 lever gun.
Still got the adler mate
Pretty simple mate Bloody Bundaberg Rum Zombie snatched him up
He def pulled a hard left on you as you walked past the sapling on your left. You can juat see the shadow of him wheeling back around the tree he came out from under. Boars will do it...pull a hard switch in direction and then leg it and lay down whilst youre left scratching your head. Especially if they have just been clipped. So possibly a little too much lead and just winged him. The one out the back is a different pig. Not enough time for him to cover that much ground.
I think you are right mate
@HuntingwithStu I've had it happen before......sitting there on my bike, there scratching my noggin' looking out across a flat thinking magic disappearing pig....or it's just gone 10yds and laid down in grass, then the sheepdog is looking back the way we had come like he was setting a quail. And there the big bugger was tucked back under the peppercorn he can out from, just came back in from the other side. He didn't get a chance to try it again. Had me scratching my head for a while. A chopper shorter once told me about how he would see big boars run in amongst a mob and then cut away, run 20-50yds and then just lay down and let the mob lead the danger away. Sneaky sneaky. That was in pretty thick lignum country. He reckoned that you could hover ten feet over those big blokes and they wouldn't budge. Others only broke cover when the empty shotshells out of the chopper landed on them. Hard to believe, however they cleaned up some pork over the couple of days they were here. Still remember pulling up at his house and he had a pallet of shots hell in the carport around back of the house. Security was a couple of dogs hooked up to the pallet. 🤔 Mossberg 500 C5 was the only shotgun he found that could take the punishment.
Wow, thanks for the comment mate.
Nah, it was an experimental hologram put out out by the government MC ultra, or that cut shot shell load you used just instantly vaporized the pig, I've had it happen to me before haha. WOW, you've got me buggered Stu, otherwise you blew it into another paddock mate haha. Seeya Rob
Could explain a few things mate.
took off to the left then back around the tree or down that path
Stu, that's one of those interdimentional, alien hogs. You fired right before he "beamed" back to Hoglandia. Right now he and Bigfoot are having a beer, laughing at us humans. I'm a disabled veteran who hasn't hunted hogs since '92. Can we hunt sometime? Cheers!
Thanks mate, that is the most probable of scenarios, ha. Let me know if you make it to Australia mate. I did 35 years in the Army so we have something in common.
@@HuntingwithStu Roger that, brother! I did 22 years. I wanted to do 30 to top my grandfather's 28 years but got hurt. A big thank you to all our Australian brothers and sisters that serve. Cheers!
Obviously the result of leaving the 30-06 in the truck.A bit of “ here piggy piggy “, may’ve helped?
LOL yes mate
Matrix.. my bags are packed.. coming from New Smyrna Beach
I just googled the beach....I am coming to your spot!
You got him. He has fallen on the spot and you walked straight past him or over him.
