Illegal fisherman busted at Dorman Pond in Oregon when they came in and started fishing almost right on top of us! The guys didn't know the laws in Oregon apparently and got busted! Fishing with 2 rods is illegal in Oregon unless you buy the endorsement to do so. Know the regs, Don't fish illegally.

@CrayzMark we initially didn't know until seeing the State Trooper give them both tickets for it.
What a beautiful day to fish! Glad you were able to talk to the warden about some illegal fishing. Everyone seemed appreciative and kind about the situation. I think the question in the video was- where are you from and what do you fish for? SW WA and anything that bites. :) Looking forward to more videos.

We don't normally have turtles in the waters around these parts. First turtle I've seen in this pond that I've been fishing for 25 years. Hints why we think it was someone's pet
There are native turtles in places like Lacamas Lake, north of where you're at. Turtles, just like salamanders and snakes, have a broad range of species that have a range of environments they can survive in. Those are probably something like a Western Painted turtle Also, the crowds go to those popular locations, but I will let you know if there are fish in those roadside creeks, there are a handful of people that regularly fish them, it took me a while to figure that one out
Ya let me know if you find anything in those side creeks. I know my father back in the day used to pull out some decent side fish out of them. Didn't know that about the turtles, honestly never seen one in any of the bodies of water I fished around here.

Northwest Oregon, in this pond we never seen turtles in there. Thus we are surprised lol still think someone's pet they released

Cool video man! I hate knowing there are lots of people out there fishing illegally. I haven't been to that pond in years. I have a few trout fishing videos on my channel showing what I use.

Fish legally support native trout restorations and other fish , keep facilities nice and well funded keep fisheries better funded so more trout can be planted for us to fish and for the birds 🦅

I thought you can have 2 pole validation for 28.00. Guess not.
Yea you can get the 2 pole validation but the 2 guys didn't have it. It's hard to hear the state trooper, but one of the guys had his pole in the water while fishing on the other side of us.
