  • What's stunning to me is not how quickly you guys can come up with a song but how quickly you can *workshop* it. It's this constant back and forth between you and Andrew as you piece the thing together, half the time talking in shorthand. Brothers from another mother!

I don’t think anyone could have seen where this track (or the other one was going), but you did! And your maturity in walking away from the other track, and letting Andrew create, was amazing!   • I love to play in open tunings. Not as weird as this obviously, but still quite different, like Bb Bb Db Gb Bb Db, or C F C F C F, or Db Ab Db Db Ab Db. You can make some really cool stuff out of wacky tunings sometimes.

    • Those are boring tunings tho. Too many same notes so you'd have to do crazy reaches with your fingers to solo or do a melody.

    • I like open tuning that already make a full chord. But to be honest the standard tuning just brought down 3 or 4 half steps is cool. I even like going up a half step, so it's F standard. As if you have the cappo on the 1st fret but it's better in tune and you've got a couple more higher notes because there isn't a wasted fret.
