Giving birth is equal parts magical and equal parts horrifying, especially in the Animal Kingdom. Animals truly have some of the most terrifying ways to give birth. Here's a look at the craziest births in the animal kingdom, from fathers that can spew thousands of babies out of their bellies to wasps that use giant spiders as incubators and Toads that literally secrete offspring from their skin here are 10 Crazy Ways Animals Give Birth.

Seahorse
Unlike land horses, seahorses have a really convoluted way of giving birth. The male seahorse not only provides the sperm but also carries the fetuses throughout the pregnancy and gives birth!. If your significant other isn’t willing to do all that, does he even love you ladies? The mating ritual begins with a dance and culminates in the female depositing eggs into the male's brood to be fertilized. The female, on the other hand, does not return the eggs and goes on with her life, while the male's belly begins to swell as the babies grow inside his pouch.
When it's time to give birth, the male experiences contractions similar to those experienced by humans, spraying out the young horses into the water. The male can give birth to up to 2000 sea horses at once, then instantly prepares to carry another batch of eggs from the females. They aren't the best parents, though, because the babies are left to fend for themselves once they are released.
Yellowhead Jawfish
Looks like the fathers of the ocean are on a whole other level. Much like seahorses, male Jawfish do all the dirty work, which in this case entails carrying the fertilized eggs in his mouth until they hatch. The males attract females to their burrow by spreading their pectoral fins and arching their long backs in a "dance”. The female then lays her eggs deep in his burrow. The male will then fertilize the eggs quickly before scooping them up and holding them in his mouth.
The male does not eat anything during the incubation period, which lasts nearly a month. However, every guy is entitled to a quick meal break! They very rarely spit the eggs out of their mouth into the burrow and head off to have a quick meal, leaving the eggs unattended for a while. The eggs hatch inside the father’s mouth and are released into the ocean. But they stay close to their father and can swim back into his mouth if danger approaches.
