comparing ON to Lisa's song is a joke because ON is the mix of trap, r&b and gospel music with amazing lyricist top tier production and self production. Just tell us you like her bc she's a woman bc when it comes to standards of music is ON.

@moon light not all men like that. I saw a lot of male genuine reactors also. To be fair, there will be maybe 15% female ARMY who took interest in BTS for their look, at least for the 1st time. Then I believe the more they know the boys, they love them more beyond their look. So it's completely normal and understandable 💜
BTS was my intro to Kpop also. I now like other Kpop groups but BTS is something different - it goes beyond the music
i was not into kpop, nor am i or was ever a fan of anyone, not even what others consider the biggest stars, but BTS is just different. they made me a better person through their songs.

I love lisa. I do really. And i streamed lalisa so much when it got released. But to prefer lalisa over ON , it's pretty undigestable. On the basis of lyrics, vocals, choreography, cinematography, everything, someone who knows real artistry will always choose ON. I am not saying lalisa is not good, but that's definitely not the best of Lisa yet and , ON is one of the best works of BTS. BTS is a genre itself. Well for us armies everything is the best but talking about the normal audience, it's one of the best things to show to them.

On kinetic manifesto has a lower budget but overall, it has better quality in music, visuals, dance, lyrics, vibe, and simple background that makes you focus on the entire point, which is the dance and talent.

Just as ARMY often said, "BTS will come to you in times when you needed them the most", for me it's when the pandemic hits and i was pregnant with my second child... they really puts me at ease and comfort, their music, their personality and their message.... so you can't really force people seeing BTS and expect them to be open minded and appreciative like you were then.... it will be a let down....😅.... believe me i've seen it happened🤭

I'm an ARMY but I never let my friends CHECKOUT BTS or like asked them to check them out. It's hard here in my country Philippines, most people are racist when it comes to Kpop artists, I don't even want to put it into details coz it's so disgusting. I will only show them BTS if they asked me to introduce BTS to them. We can't please everyone, I myself learned about BTS thru MV and one day I just found myself looking them up in google since I was so intrigued why these guys are so famous. I used to say that KPOP and BTS are overrated, and I know that was awful. But I was wrong SOOOOOO WRONG. I feel inlove.....not the visual, but by the lyricism, the genuine humblesness, kindness, they are soo relatable and I can't get through the day without them. I'm not into Kpop, but I'm into BTS but I never degrade ANY other groups. BTS just captured my heart and I will never regret every single moment I spent when it comes to BTS. Proud ARMY 💜
It's true, BTS come to you when you needed them the most !! I found them (or they found me, I don't really know 😂) in 2021... In the moment I started dealing with an anxiety disorder. Just like you, they put me at ease and comfort with their music, message... Today, I don't remember why I used to think "it's just a boy band" and "they're overrated" 😅

One is self-produce, self-written and the song carries such a big meaning. While the other one just a performer. The song, lyrics are all have been prepared and she just delivered it.. They were me the first time my sis showed me this BTS video. I had no clue what BTS was about, I knew they were big and was just another boy band. Boy was I sooo wrong. Looking back I was reluctant to admit it was an awesome video simply because I had pre-conceived notions of who BTS were. Now ON is one of my most listened BTS songs and this video is chefs kiss!
You were me. I was just curious and I didn't get it when watching this. Though the dancing was awesome. Took me Black Swan, the Mv and Art Film, and Lie for me to really go down the rabbit hole. This is now one of my top 10 of BTS songs

I was in the rabbit hole two years ago,...at 61, it had taken me a while to listen to BTS...and now at 63, I am full fledged ARMY and always will be! THIS song did it for me!!! These guys are next level, they are the gold standard, they transcend all genres. Never call them K Pop. They are BTS!

Aight so let’s talk about this. I chose ON because well… it’s incredible and one of my favorite videos and songs of BTS. Top 5 songs to me personally. I thought this would be a good way to get them interested in the group, since I know they would absolutely not like songs like Dynamite, Butter, Boy with Luv,… I thought Kaan would enjoy the visuals and also the song. I was wrong, oh well shit happens. Let me tell you the next reaction is better, they liked SHADOW way more. However, they have their own opinion and you should not judge them based on that. Be respectful. They didn’t talk bad about BTS, they just said they didn’t like it and preferred the Lalisa vid. 🤷 It is what it is. Let me know which ones they should react to next
Respect is everything. To men innocent looking girls are more appealing. Why would anyone even say something disrespectful towards your friends. Your friends seem really cool and open minded. Everyone has the right to form an opinion. But there is a conformation bias that plays a big role here. We don’t even need to argue this. They write and produce their own stuff. We know BTS is BTS. BTS rap line are real rappers like you Anthony. And Lisa is a beautiful girl that can sing and model. We can’t compare them. BTS are so versatile and they have so many songs its insane. it’s not easy to pic a song to show your friends, I know because I tried lol. If they are interested I would suggest Outro: tear live performance and cypher pt2. Don’t forget ugh! Performance And I beg you show them RM’s Joke, I know it will blow their minds but no pressure 😅🙏

The lyrics of this song keeps me afloat when I'm having difficulties in life. It energize and boost you to keep fighting even in pain. Not to mention the beats and the amazing dance choreo. BTS doesn't just makes music. They make music to spread positivity and heartwarming messages about self-love, dealing with pain and real issues about life.
I've always listened to music but never really thought about the meaning of the songs. But ON changed things for me. I love every little thing about this, there is not a single thing which is out of place here. It kinda made me army ngl.
I’ll take meaningful lyrics over some shallow lyrics anytime. To each it’s own I guess. BTS as a group and individually are at different level. Can’t wait for their solo albums 💜

Anthony, as a guy, when friends ask me to show BTS, I usually show the raw hard hitting stuff like Fire, Mic drop, Joke ,Daeschwita, UGH. DOnt even let them know about Boy in luv,Dynamite or idol. The darker and macho the better. Theyll ease into that later on

Everybody sees different things. "ON" the MV is very different from ON Kinetic Manifesto is very different from ON at Grand Central. They are all masterpieces! I am so glad that BTS don't lower their standards and always put their artistry above simple sexual appeal.
I don't want to hate on other artists every artist in kpop is good and talented, but comparing ON to lalisa in not right , ON is on another level of artistic works .
Not disappointed that they didn't liked ON over Lalisa (im myself an ARMYBLINK btw) but disappointed over the fact that they didn't even tried to take it a bit seriously. I usually don’t comment but for this one let me. Watching this made me appreciate you much much more than I did before (which was already a lot). Not because you support BTS, but because you are unbiased, honest, pay attention to their work in all aspects and genuinely assess it from there. Your friends here didn’t even look like they were bothered with anything going on in this video. I skipped through after about half vid as your friends had zero appreciation and then again, found their faces remaining frozen even the dance break. You introduced me to BTS when you reacted to ON, I didn’t know really who they were or what they do/did back then. But watching that ON reaction you did, I was hooked with BTS because of your thorough analysis of everything. You helped me understand the song and notice little details you mentioned which I wouldn’t have picked up myself. Pls keep up with your very good work that we love 💜💜💜 I agree with you when you said above somewhere that you didn’t pick dynamite or butter, but you chose ON instead, I understand where you’re coming from and I agree with you completely. WOW! How they can watch this one of the best mv ever, and not be impressed? The music, cinematography, choreography, etc.! There were several drones and cameras on towering booms. The camera work alone was spectacular. Too bad, they did not appreciate the work. I totally agree with your love of this mv.
One of the things I love most about BTS is that they write, produce, compose most of their music!! They think carefully about lyrics & craft their songs with intended meaning. There is no comparison. No one , no one does it like BTS, period. 💜

their reaction was me the first time i watched bts. i had already stereotyped them as "just another boyband" and i refused to acknowledge their lyricism, let alone their production and insane rap delivery. i did not WANTED to enjoy their music, just to fit into the "im different and edgy" audience. and boy did i wasted the next 2-3 years not stanning them. with an open mind, they will fall in love with bts. i would definitely recommend you to get them know bts first, as in their personalities. show them the famous carpool karaoke, or a variety show content. let them vibe with the boys first. that way when they react to their music, they will do it without prejudice. even if they want to hate it, deep inside they wont. the moment the video started they were like "its a boyband its not my style" so they're already convinced that they will dislike the song based on that one stereotype. thats literally me when blood, sweat and tears came out. on 2020 i grew to appreciate them by watching their james corden and jimmy fallon shows, then i slowly got into their music. best decision ever.
Remember how in a live i asked you how your friends react to bts as none of my friends like them and you said get better friends? So getting better friends is not an option I guess, right? Like you have to actually let them have their own opinions, even if they are wrong lol. Ah well. At least they like lalisa. You will always have that.

Music is subjective, it is personal taste, it's OK they like Lisa, I'm personally not a fan of Lisa or BlackPink, they aren't on my personal playlist. But BTS I am a huge fan of and ON is one of my personal favourites, to me there is no comparison BTS is the shining light, so far ahead of any others, other artist can only ever hope to emulate them. I haven't seen anyone come close to date, in my opinion.

"ON" My favorite. First time I ever saw them... "On" on the Jimmy Fallon show at Grand Central Station in NYC on February 24, 2020. I was overwhelmed with their performance! I have watched them every day since then! "On" in CA outside. Great choice to show your friends. Oooops. I need to have on my black leather jacket to watch this!
