  • The pinpoint accuracy by Brady on Gronk's first score of this game...one of Brady's most important attributes. He had this kind of accuracy in college and HS, and it's one of the skills that puts him over the top. He makes it look so easy that you almost forget that most QBs just can't do this. Ben was pretty close in this game, however, with some amazing throws as well.

  • I miss both of these teams. Yeah Brady dominated them and beat them 3xs (3-0) in the Playoffs but Brady has a winning record overall , to include playoffs, againest every team (5-6 reg season vs Chiefs but 8-6 overall. Beat them 3xs 3-0 in the playoffs as well) and it has been impressive to see any team win 2 SBs during Bradys era. Besides the Steelers and Giants the Eagles/Chiefs will have that opportunity this SB Sunday. If not for Brady the Steelers likely have 2-3 more chips. Both teams were fun to watch.

    • I'll say 2015-2017. I don't care about the arm strength. He was smarter, just as accurate, made better decisions, demonstrated masterful pocket presence and mobility (for Brady), threw well down the field and under pressure, and had some great postseasons--all with supporting casts inferior to those during 2007-2012. From 2015-2017, the Patriots were extremely reliant on him, too, with an inconsistent running game, a defense that couldn't force turnovers or score, and devastating injuries to Gronk or Edelman.

  • I can see why people thought Brady may just be a good quarterback in a great system. His receivers were wide open most of the time. However, in real time, he has to recognize who's open out of several potential receivers, and then throw accurately to them which he does most of the time. Brady's mentally light years ahead of anyone in that regard. Ben seems to have similar passing abilities but he's not able to read the field as well. His receivers in this game failed him several times as well.
