Whenever you see "Not Actual Gameplay", it makes you wish that current tech was capable of consistently running cinematic trailer-like renders in realtime.
I imagine this 28-second clip took days to render in a supercomputer that occupied a room that would fit thousands of ps5s.

@@kei7540 A lot of ways, yeah. But take a look at all of the post-FX, particles, lighting, reflections, pore and texture detailing, all of those factors add up to make a huge divot in performance. It's just something you wish the consoles could run smoothly, y'know.

@Tivon Hm, you might be right. PS5 games are still in relatively early development, so there's probably still a good portion of optimization to come. Currently Demon souls looks to be the most optimized, so in a few years from now perhaps the cinematic trailer isn't too far off.
The fact that miles misses his finisher at 0:16 but still manages to turn it back into a venom smash is actually an incredible way to show how he’s still new to being spiderman.
I don't think he "missed" his finisher at all as that was technically to DO his venom smash entirely so!

I think miles listens to music as his coping mechanism when he’s fighting, while peter uses his quips to ease himself and the situation

Small details in the trailer Miles looks down on his reflection from shattered pieces of glass. This is a metaphor related to the whole "What makes you different is what makes you Spider-man". As he's beaten down and pushed back, he looks at himself and says "Remember Miles, you're Spider-man". In the shot at 0:09 where he stands up, a (Peter Parker) Spider-man billboard can be seen being lit up, while Miles is being lit up by the car. Then, the lights on the billboard go out and all we see is Miles in the spotlight. This is another symbolism for Miles having the spotlight of his own as his own Spider-man, not just a shadow of Peter's Spider-man.

Exactly, people say "graphics arent going to get any better than what they are currently", which i always thought was bs, but this is obvious proof that theres still room for improvement.
