It's been discovered that the LNER J70s (What Toby's Based on) can go up to apparently fucking 75 mph
that's insane
Ofc they can't compete with engines like a LNER A3 or A4 but god damnit it's funny to just see Toby flying past Gordon or one of the big engines down the mainline.
Originally the sprites were made by @/CyanPlumber258 and the trees inwhich I believe were from Jexan1 or @/Funtime_Station I think that's his YT

Oliver’s class can also hit a top speed of 70 MPH or so, some tank engines are pretty damn quick!
Fyi, not trying to sound rude but Oliver can't each speeds of 80 MPH while engines such as Thomas and Percy can reach 30 making Oliver the fastest type of thank engine
@@BigBoy_Productions4014 some tank engines can and have gone faster. There were some SR tank engines that went 85, and there’s also a class of German tank engines that went up to 109 mph!

The reason why they are slow is because they have a speed reducer box or something that keeps their speed around 25mph for branchline work

They can go up to 75 as their max speed so it isn't a big deal

actually that was with speed limits, you put one on the mainline they could clock almost 70mph, that was while heading for maintenance, they could go fast, but due to most speed restrictions, they just didnt do it often
