Agents J and K are back...in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. Griff told J to go home as soon as Boris looses his arm because he didnt want J to see what happened to his father. But J didnt immediately go home. He stayed a bit longer and saw what happened to his dad. Griff tried to prevemt it but couldn't even thiugh he knew what would happen. Thats heavy af.
Weird that Tommy Lee Jones gets second billing in the title instead of Josh Brolin.
for marketing purposes if they put josh brolin second and on the ads people likely would have gotten confused.

@@RedCorvette9311 I saw MIB 1 and 2 in theaters, I'm not a kid. My issue is TLJ isn't even in this video, and has maybe 10 minutes of screen time for the entire movie. This is like having a Zombieland clip and headlining it with Jesse Eisenberg and Bill Murray.

Fun story: So I was dating a psychiatrist when this movie first came out and I was laughing myself silly from 3:17 to 3:44 at the movies for some reason. After we were done with the movie my girl kept telling me that my deep laughter at the scene was probably a sign of my psychopathy for some reason lol. We don't see each other anymore these days but I am still laughing myself silly at that bit, along with other bits in this fantastic movie.

Most likely the moment where he sacrificed himself and then a distant future showing that his son is Agent J right in front of him

He showed him his death. And he showed him his son would be alright. Great show of emotion on the face.

Another sad thing is, even though he didnt get to be there for it, The captain sort of got to see his son grow up through Griffin 😢

Just wondering, the organisation serves as some alien police/border (or atmospheric) control for these intergalactic species But they couldn’t manage to just, idk, borrow some alien spacecraft to go to the space to activate the shield?
Could be possible that the aliens didn’t ratify a treaty for humans to use their space craft yet.
Funny I didn't know Josh Brolin played young K in MiB 3 so he was a MiB agent who dealt with Alien threats Saving the Earth and even universe from them then he eventually turns into Thanos a Alien who not just threat the earth and universe but totally wracked it I guess Shield was no MiB because if they we're who'd need the Avengers? Lol

@@loraxak now rethinking about it, Agent J's father should have been alive in that altered timeline. I assume Boris could have killed K before he even encountered J's father
@@halfmoontech we never spend enough time in the altered time line to show whether or not Js dad is actually alive.
The one thing that always bugged me with little J being what changed K was people use this as the reason J eventually ended up in MIB. However in the alternate timeline that means K was not there to watch over him and get J into MIB. I would have liked to know the events of the first 2 movies in this timeline. Or Maybe J shows up to MIB headquarters and not actually be in MIB because of the time change. They missed the chance for him to do the Last Suit bit for this movie.

@@MatCumbo I didn't either until I watched the movie again after seeing Mike Colter in other things. This was just such a small brief role that he didn't leave much of an impression.

All the MPs got theirs, and even if he has his "Edwards" nametag, no one would guess he's J's dad until the "your dad's a hero" scene anyway. 5:17 And why would he address the corporal???? There's a sergeant next to him. You're telling me the corporal is the team leader??
The modern Class A green uniform is not necessarily worn with a name tag. I don't know how far back this option goes.
I don't understand the whole thing with K and O. I mean, in MIB 1, didn't K miss his wife all the years he was doing MIB work?
O was probably a puppy dog crush, because he lost his wife due to the job, and became infatuated with O. Old K never really mentions O in the slightest, and she doesnt seem like she is still holding a candle for him either. At best it was a minor fling that ended mutually as he struggled with his feelings for his wife. which neatly leads into the first movie. Odds are its his experience with O that leads to the sully K we have in the first two movies, finally coming to terms with the idea that all he will have is MIB until he either dies or retires.

It’s likely. It’s likely the reason he says “Wish I could” to K’s offer is either because he didn’t know and cares too much for his son to join or knows he’ll die and is saying “wish I could” because he knew he was going to die in a few moments.
