18:31 James performs Romeo & Juliet theme. The man is a living treasure!
To everyone of a certain age in the UK it's the theme tune to Our Song. Our Song was a segment on the (if I recall correctly) Simon Bates show on Radio One in the 80s. Listeners would write in with the story of how they met their husband/wife, etc. and include the song that reminded them of that time. The song would then be played at the end of the story. During the telling of the story the Romeo and Juliet tune would be played in the background.
@@susi-emily This ended up migrating over to Radio 2 (much like a lot of ex-Radio 1 DJs) though was often parodied on other stations, not just BBC radio either... :P

Fucking golden age of a tv series. Remember watching this when i was way younger. Now since in his 30s, i get all their puns and jokes about driving after a decade and a half of driving under my belt.

Season 10 of Top Gear is the greatest season of television I've ever seen. Every single episode is a complete and utter classic, and it's chock-full of iconic moments. I love it so much.
Can we all agree that new Top Gear doesn't work? These three were the entire program, as proven by The Grand Tour.

It's genuinely a bit upsetting, because they're completely right in that when hydrogen storage is figured out in a real way, and hydrogen power is made more practical, that is the "green energy" that people seem to think electric vehicles are

It's interesting how Jeremy talked about the non-police shutting the roads down for a minor crash. Would it be to protect the people who have to pull over? Unfortunately here in the US there's always people being hit and killed who have pulled over to the side of the road in an emergency :(

@@erosion271 yes, but they have to because what if someone drive over the glass or bits of metal, punctures a tire, and then THEY crash.
@@SlimTheydy Isn't it interesting that they're so concerned about the debris from the crash they shut down the road immediately but the massive potholes get ignored for years?

The whole Hydrogen Fuel Cell thing just came and went before it even started. Feels like that is still the ideal future and we're just tiding by with this current breed of electric/battery and hybrid cars until we realise that we're running out of lithium and cobalt to make the damned things. Plus how much damage that does to environment. I personally am not too fused about it all but the people who genuinely think they are making an environmental difference in buying these overpriced things makes me laugh so much. 😂
