The Asus ROG Strix Scope RX Optical Mechanical Keyboard is my first ever experience with Optical Switches and man do they feel good! They are SUPER responsive and if you're someone who can't afford to miss a keystroke when you're playing competitive FPS games then you have to check this keyboard out! It's not even that expensive!

Great review; many thanks! My +$300 Logitech G915 Orion Spectrum just failed for my son (he inherited it from me after I got the G815, which I'm half expecting to fail soon too now that the warranty is out...), because guess what, switches. Just like my G903 mouse a few weeks ago, which suffered the dreaded double click out of warranty! The latter was replaced with a Chakram X with super easily replaceable switches - it's brilliant - and I just ordered the Scope RX after seeing your and Linus' reviews. I really like the idea of the IP56 protection. Asus seems on a mission to provide products that ought to be durable, and I'm happy to support that rather than keep giving Logitech my money.
